I marvel at his hypocrisy – being against capitalism – when that very system has made him incredibly wealthy. I don't understand how he can possibly believe the things he professes in his movies and TV interviews…

I've seen people like him come and go in politics and entertainment. Basically, he'll be what ever he has to, to earn a pay check. If there's a conservative in the White House, he'll go as far left as he can to draw a crowd. If the winds change and the MSM turns on Obama, it wouldn't surprise me to see him move to the right of Dick Cheney, and try to land Rush on his show.

But either way, the fact that he shows no solid unmovable morals shows he's just another hack, trying to make a buck. There fore, irrelevant as far as I'm concerned.

You know Ed, I looked into Maher's background for research on a hit piece I was contemplating and he's ideologically all over the ballpark. He an Ivy Leaguer so he has the *white guilt* thing working, lapsed Catholic, used to be – by I guess by east coast standards, a bit more – er, conservative but he just decieded to high dive of the 10 meter into the shallow end of the leftist pool. I dropped the effort when school started again. I think his ideological inconsistancy shows sometimes, like a Freudian ~slip~.
