Big Hollywood Enters the Twitterverse

Is that the right word, “Twitterverse?”
Actually we’ve been up on Twitter for a few months now but our tech guy wouldn’t let me near it until I proved I could set my VCR clock.
With that mission accomplished (kind of), we move on to Twitter, where if you sign up at twitter.com/bighollywood, you’ll receive updates whenever a new post goes up. But the extra special treat is for those of you as fascinated by the minutiae of my life as I am.

Dang, just when I think it's safe to be a Luddite, here comes another whack to my PC-for-Dummie's forehead. (Geesh, guys, I'm still congratulating myself on knowing how to turn on my computer in the morning without blowing it up. There's no way I can handle a Twitter.)
I am on facebook and myspace because of kids. I don't know my passwords and never go there. Breitbart is my homepage with a one click access to BH . Homey don't twitter. That said, maybe I can use this post for a suggestion. I'd love to hear more about the business of show business. Gaffers vs. best boys, what does a producer do, etc. Another example, do certain producers have a particular stable of actors that they go to (say a Bellisario vs, Wolf) Since I didn't start at the very beginning of BH, I apologize if You ran this stuff and I just missed it. I still love this site and it's ability to talk watercooler with other guys who think Richard Dreyfus sucks.

So when you guys going to create a presence on Facebook?
I have been trying to get the word out on you guys to my fellow conservative tweeps on twitter. Glad that you guys have finally hit up twitter. It's not just for celebs and crappy gossip. I think what Breitbart is doing here can really go viral on twitter. I get so much info from fellow tweeps I really don't have to watch any news anymore. In fact I watch Fox and come to big hollywood because it's more opinon driven and I like the personalities more. Anyhow, welcome and hopefully you guys will be on facebook as well.

My wife and I are morally opposed to Twitter, not to put too fine a point on it. We see it as the ultimate representation of our sound-bite-obsessed society. We've become so compressed that there's no room in our communications anymore for that elusive 'nuance' the libs carp endlessly about. Is anything worth saying at length these days, or am I required to compact it down to 120 characters or less?
