Personally I'd rather have a governor who fights the Orwellian Real ID program and refuses to participate in the Ponzi Stimulus scam who also cheats on his wife over a faithful governor who allows himself to be Washington's puppet like most states have.

She gave her husband a chance to straighten up when she found out about the affair a few months ago but now she is telling him to go suck eggs. She cares more about herself, herself self-respect and her values than the power of being First Lady of South Carolina with the possibility of moving up in a few years. If Hillary Clinton had that kind of spine, she would be sitting in the big chair right now instead of hoping that she can hang on and get her shot in 2016. [...]

Seriously not sure why people keep saying he had a chance at the Presidency. Not really. He doesn't, nor has he ever had the personality, or even seemingly the drive. He never struck me as president material, just by the simple virtue of being a fiscally responsible governor.

The only impression I get of Sanford is that he's nuts. I don't care if he gets back together with his wife or not, or what political party he represents. It's obvious the people of South Carolina will be better off when he's gone and I hope it's soon. I'm VERY happy he didn't get further in Republican politics, just like I'm glad Newt Gingrich didn't because he was doing roughly the same thing Clinton was when Gingrich was still Speaker. They're all kind of out of the same mold, and it's slimy.

I agree w/ Funeral Guy! Times 10. J. Sanford is a fairly attractive woman, somewhat a WASPy ,raw-boned uptight chick IMHO, but nowhere near in Sarah Palin's realm of looks. So ditto on getting your eyes checked. Quickly. As for Gov. Mark, I say let his term play out, he will leave at some point when people get tired of him. He actually may be crazy like a fox, though, he sure did undercut all the plans the left had of "outing" his secrets, didn't he? And has the lefty feminazis writing odes to him.
