Here’s a great example: while the leftists try to paint conservatives as shallow, small-minded and unwilling to compromise, their most unfunny, close-minded and shrill spokesperson sits for a chat with the ex-ESPN employee who is the least welcome in any MLB locker room.
I caught the love fest of bringing us together and change we can believe in the other night on Olbermann. OK, I didn’t watch it live because I don’t have a very strong stomach. If I watch Mr. Warmth for more than twelve seconds I need to have not eaten for at least seven hours. His guest was alleged comedienne Janeane Garafolo. Why is it that liberal comedians are so unfunny and poorly spoken when they are off script? Maybe they are just following in Obama’s footsteps. I have liberal friends who swear that she’s some sort of comic genius. She may be but why doesn’t she use her Oscar Wilde/Dorothy Parker razor sharp wit to make her points? Why is name calling and anger her modus operandi?
Seriously folks, I defy anyone to tell me one Janeane Garafolo joke without doing a Google search. This is a woman who has the word “think” tattooed on her arm to remind her to do it. Talk about being bad off script, she once took her notes on stage during a television taping of a comedy special. Maybe they weren’t paying her enough to memorize her act or couldn’t afford to rent a teleprompter. Every time her character on “24″ looks down I swear she is looking for a cheat sheet hidden on the set.
Maybe Ms. Garafolo has moved into the Dick Gregory phase of her career and soon she will be shilling a diet product. When I think of her or Mr. Olbermann two words come to mind: intellectual poseur.

I was really pissed when I caught this Garafolo crap on Olberman last week. I switch to Olberman and Maddow on the commerial breaks when I watch O'Reilly & Hannity (for a few laughs – my idea of fair and balanced) Then a friend of mine pointed out that this is a good sign. The left is becoming more desperate. This dunce is just trying to provoke us to attack her so they can all cry "Oh look how mean the right is, boo hoo, poor me. Let's just ignore her. Is polygamy illegal? Since one can not be married to more than one person at a time, and assuming they are open about it can it even happen? I realize people are deceiptful about it and unless i am mistaken that is called bigamy. Is that why they get those guys on other charges like lack of child support, mail fraud or molestation?

That is completely irrelevant and, to be honest, pretty insulting to those of us who have tattoos and aren't hate-spewing sh!tbags like her. I am a female, have six tattoos (most of which are pretty visible in normal clothing), am planning on getting more, and several piercings that are not in my ears. That doesn't mean I'm a masochist or a raving lunatic. Please stop using that as a basis to deride her. Her foul, hateful words should suffice.

What is not allowed is same sex marriage. He also pointed out many other restrictions on marriage and posed the question if we change one why not drop all restrctions? Tattoos are very personal, though, so unless you are judging a tattoo contest, I can't see that its up to you to make judgment calls about hers. :p I doubt you'd consider mine "high art" in any way, shape or form, but they are very personal and each one has a specific meaning. I even got one in honor of a SCOTUS case we won.

Yes, I come to realize more and more how many liberals practice projection (recognizing and condemning qualities in others that they cannot acknowledge or accept about themselves). I noticed this with the media treatment of Sarah Palin. Many things that the media (and their liberal lemmings) ripped her apart for could very easily also be said about Obama, or even Biden. Regarding the liberal clichéd "Racist!" accusation, i find it strange that Liberals love to lump all republicans into one group and assume that they are all racists and biggots. Well, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't that kind of like prejudging someone based on stereotypes? Isn't pre-judging people the same as being prejudiced? Isn't being prejudiced the root of being racist?

Actually I may go for the polygamy thing. Not out of any desire to be oversexed, overmassaged, or anything of that sort, but as a practical matter then my fiancee would have someone to go shopping with that actually is interested in shopping for shoes and other un-fun to be a shopping partner for things. If that went through I'd never have to spend 3 hours looking at area rugs that all look the same to me, ever again. You know "They" may be on to something here…

I think you're right. Intellectually, I don't see a difference. The primary argument for gay marriage is that we should let two consenting adults make up their own minds. If that's the case, then the exact same argument would work for three (or more) consenting adults.

a simply astonishing intellectually dishonest assemblage of verbs and adjectives in search of a clue (or a proper noun) this is a place for debate- not 'blind obeisance'. One can share opposing views civily without having to 'accept the intolerant'… we have a long association with minorities (and gays) who do not buy into the 'lockstep left' mentality. Conservatives believe in the liberation of the mind AND spirit and that cuts across all lines.
