Obama Takes on North Korea

Secretary of State Clinton and President Obama warned the North Koreans in the strongest possible terms that if they launched their new ICBM there would be hell to pay! Despite this stern warning they launched their missile April 4th. So now what? What will the Obama administration do to show Kim Jong Il, and other third world nations like, oh I don’t know maybe Iran, how serious they are about controlling their development of nuclear weapons and delivery systems?
The President and the Secretary have outlined a six-step plan that is sure to have Dear Leader so scared he may order his starving people to go out and tear down his uranium enrichment plants.
Step 1) Go to the United Nations and have them send a strongly worded letter demanding an apology.
Step 2) Secretary Clinton will give several angry speeches denouncing the Bush administration’s policy towards North Korea.
Step 3) President Obama will begin unilateral disarmament of our own nuclear weapons.
Step 4) President Obama will petition both The Royal and Ancient and the United States Golf Associations to continue to not recognize Kim Jong Il’s claimed record score of 54 for eighteen holes.
Step 5) The North Korean ambassador will not be invited to the next four Wednesday afternoon parties at the White House.
Step 6) The United States will no longer ship legitimate DVDs to North Korea forcing General Il to watch pirate copies of his favorite new movies.
President Obama announced that these severe steps could be avoided only if the North Korean leader issued a sincere apology and promised to never ever do it again.

Obama's response made me think of Monty Python & the Holy Grail, as the Frenchman yells from the turret: "No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time", i.e., if you lauch another rocket we (the UN) shall write you an even stronger letter of disapproval!..

What really strikes one about Our President's position on any issue of real import is his, well, vapidity. Not dumb, or clueless as some have posited. No, he is vapid. The crushing realization that the Leader of the Free World enjoys the image of President without relishing the duties is now upon us. In that regard he couldn't be more different from Mr Bush; it's 180 degrees out of phase… he likes Air Force One (who wouldn't?) but doesn't really care to get involved in this North Korea business- his handlers insist, darn it.
This is a feckless administrtion full of empty rhetoric and a determination to force it's people down the tortured path of secular collectivism. Dealing with external threats is, well, inconvenient. And the North Koreans are awareof this. As are the Iranians…
In one of a multitude of brlliant scenes in "Braveheart", Longshanks the brutal King of England, in a "teaching moment" asks his gay son, Prince and heir apparent how he would deal with outbreak of violence by a "brigand" in the Northlands of Scotland. Prince PeterPuffer states that he would contact the local magistrate and have the bandit arrested, problem solved. With this, Longshanks takes a basket with a towel over it, places it in front of the Prince and removes the towel. The severed head of the magistrate is in the basket, much to the horror of Prince P.P. Well, the Prince is Obama, and he will be forced to stare into the basket. Let's hope it's not America he sees in that basket. Obama is a frigging moron, joke and embarrassment

Totally agreed. Intellectual's love to speak in wonderfully nuanced ways – and take all sides of any possible position – except the attitude of strength, and courage. It doesn't take courage to be a lemming – it takes courage to stand hard to your convictions when you think you are doing what is right. Those are the qualities we should admire in our President.

History will repeat itself once again including the unwarranted condemnation. As Israel took at Saddam’s nuclear reactor in 1981 they will do so with Iran’s nuclear facilities. The world now recognizes Israel brave actions were a global benefit but immediately after Israel was condemned, just as they will be after the strike on Iran. History will again prove the Jews right, and the world will once again be indebted to them, whether they realize it or not.

At this point, I can say with 100% certainty that Trey Parker is more qualified to be President than BO.
If nothing else, Mr. Parker seems to have a much firmer grasp on how the _REAL_ world works.
You gotta know that the Japanese are nervous. Kim now has the capabilty to bomb Tokyo. The demented dwarf will cause harm as soon as he can. By treaty, we are supposed to protect Japan. After hearing a couple of speeches on BO's world tour, Japan is sweating bullets, as this guy will give it a lot of study before committing a strongly worded letter to the UN.

Obama can't take on ANYTHING (other than the private sector) because he is a weak, weak leader.
No one fears him.
Iran is an even larger concern — and North Korea is likely helping them. If Israel attacks Iran — which it has every reason to do, preemtively — all hell will break loose in that region of the world, and very possibly in the USA also, and — just think about it — does Barack Hussein Obama really inspire fear and respect in our enemies?
They'd be so busy laughing, they probably couldn't even answer.
Besides, many of Obama's hard-core backers hate Israel anyway, and would probably be smiling if more Jews died.
But the point remains: no one fears Obama.

The NK, Iranians, Russians, must all be laughing their butts off. They are dealing with a naive child.
Look at how Jimmy Carter and Bill Cliton handled foriegn crisis and then cut that response in half and you will have a perfect example of what PEBO will end up doing in his administration.
