Instead of looking at the "history of recorded comments" that Media Masters links to why don't you actually listen to the show and decide for yourself? I've listened off and on since 1989 and if he were racist I wouldn't tune in again and Rush wouldn't have so many black friends, supporters or business associates. This was nothing but a political shake-down take-down. Being labeled 'racist' used to be worse than 'pedophile'. I say "used to" because, as the story goes, crying wolf only works so many times.

So all you Limbaugh supporters are saying he is a purveyor of the truth and didn't make any controversial and racially tinged comments…at all?

If that was the case then he really has been mistreated, maligned and victimised!! Unfortunately the history of recorded comments uttered from his own mouth and radio show suggest otherwise. The NFL don't want their investment tarnished…the buck really did stop at Limbaugh.

Am I sorry? He's been cooking his own goose over this for a very long time. His own investors also backed away from him. Still, he won't be feeling too humiliated. He has a pile of millions right…perhaps he can use them to sue the NFL for GROSS misrepresentation???

The Free Market and Conservative decided Limbaugh was going to be a negative distraction for them and the NFL.

Funny thing, during the election and since, the only ones I hear talking about Mr. Obama's race has been Obama & the liberal democrats. Why was it not racist to try to destroy Justice Thomas, or to call Condoleeza "Aunt Jemima, or Bush's lapdog", but it IS racist to point out Obama's policies as socialist?
I don't care what his color is- just how much of my freedom, welfare & money he's going to cost me. Truth is, the only difference between Obama & Clinton (& McCain?) is how fast he is going to take us down the road to a european socialist shadow of our former great country.

Keep it up liberals. It's called conditioning. After people are called racist enough times, they become sensitized and the word loses its meaning. That's starting to happen. When I hear someone called a racist, I kind of chuckle. It never occurs to me that they are because the accusation has been hurled around so falsely at political dissidents to leftist cant even as anti-Semities like Sharpton and Jackson are given a pass. Sadly there are racists out there and it's like the boy who cried wolf, when they do rear their ugly heads, nobody will believe they are what they are.

Can you say clueless? Did he happen to glance around the last emmy awards show? Or take a gander at the producers of his show or the writing staff? Can you say lily white? How about the man? I can almost guarantee you that he has no black friends. I'm not talking about the typical flunkie who hangs around him because he's desperate for a job I'm talking about a friend, someone you would go to for counsel or in a time of need. Again his world is lily white. And by his distorted logic he and the vast majority of hollyweird would be considered RACIST but they're to clueless and self absorbed to know that they ACTUALLY are RACIST. He in typical democratic fashion simply uses the word as a political weapon because he couldn't give a rat's ass about Black people and neither does hollyweird

How racist of these liberals to use black people in such a manner. Liberals are saying that black people are not intelligent enough to be able to handle anyone disagreeing with their point of view. Liberals are, in fact, calling black people 'dumb'. In liberal land, disagreeing with black people is racist because black people are, according to liberals, too 'dumb' to handle a disagreement.
