Your story is an important reminder to myself how fortunate I am to live in a country where there are men like Marc that protect our way of life. Even in times when our country seems to be just falling apart around us, it's guys like Marc who remind us that all is not lost, and that courage is around us. Thankyou for the life of your son.

In these times I get so depressed I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I feel as though I'm living in a parallel universe, watching the insanity in Washington and wondering when this nightmare will end. Your message brings me back down to earth, to a culture I know and love. God bless, and know that your son will always be a hero in the hearts of many.

Thank you and your son for the greatest sacrifice anyone can give. I have a nephew who is on his second tour in Iraq and he wouldn't have it any other way. Freedom isn't free and REAL men know that. May your wonderful son rest in peace.
