Chris Matthews: From Leg Tingle to ‘Pluperfect’
by Greg GutfeldSo here are some poll numbers that should scare the low-waisted chaps off Democrats. By a 50-42 margin, Ohio voters say they’d rather have George W. Bush as President right now than Barack Obama. Also, among voters in Gallup weekly tracking of 2010 congressional preferences, Republicans lead by 51% to 41%. That lead is the largest since Gallup started tracking the stuff in the early 1500’s!
Now, there’s a reason Bush looks good, but it has less to do with the man, than the media. Think about it: “back then,” you didn’t have reporters calling you a dumb racist every time you ragged on the President! What makes Obama unpopular? For one: you can’t disagree with him, without being called something bad.
Check out Chris Matthews, the tingling mess who cannot fathom why no one is happy with Mr. Wonderful.
Okay..where to start…
First, people can admire Obama and still disagree with his policies. I think he’s a decent guy, and the best liberal president I’ve seen. But I also can’t stand him because he is the best liberal president I’ve seen. Matthews can’t see that it’s about ideology, not race. Maybe he’s the bigot!
Look, concerning his unpopularity, Obama is the least surprised of all. He planned to lose friends from the start. What makes him smarter than Matthews: he knew America would hate his agenda.
But the biggest fallacy in Chris’s whine: that it’s worse to make money than to community organize. How fun is it that while Matthews denigrates capitalists – he makes wads of cash denigrating capitalists!
Fact is, financial motives help way more people than community work – which is often just political resume building anyway. Bill Gates has done way more for the poor than Obama will ever do – and he did it by pursuing his interests, not theirs.
And if you disagree with me, you’re a racist homophobe who should give me a back rub, but won’t.

Barack Obama likes to play make believe. He wants you to make believe the color of his skin matters. As he has moved down the road and tried over and over to use racism as his shield against anyone that disagrees with him he has learned that people really don’t like his policies. Now, even black, brown, yellow, pink and green people are discovering the ‘real Obama’ and disagree with his march to socialism. I think a lot of people have figured out that if you just vote for a candidate because he’s a minority, the level of racism complaints doesn’t go away it increases. People like Obama have always used skin color as a shield when things don’t go their way. Obama will be remembered as the president that cried ‘wolf” (racist) so often that it became meaningless to most people. He’s starting to find out the content or lack of content of character, in Obama’s case, is starting to mean way more than skin color.

They think that this money is a birthright; they are part of the educated elite and they are simply getting what's coming to them. Breathtakingly arrogant? Or completely clueless?
Let's just say a combination (a deadly one, too) of both. Whereas Rush Limbaugh, the happy warrior, makes no bones about his capitalistic shamelessness- it IS a big part of his appeal- these guys are the conflicted liberals who believe in 'redistributive' policies.
So long as it doesn't come out of THEIR pockets.
One more thing- and this is to Mr Gutfeld- Do you realize that more people are reading about him on this site than actually WATCHING his program?

I don't think this douche should ever be on this website again. He is irrelevent and about to become even more so. Nothing personal, but he is the lowest rated news show on the lowest rated news channel and is almost too easy a target. Most likely, more people will see him on this website that will see his show, so why not marginalize him and relieve him from our national consciousness for good. Honestly, if great sites like this stop showing his deranged grill, the majority of the nation's population will simply never see him again.

Actually the big lie is that Obama didn't make money as a 'community organizer'. He was a well-paid lawyer, particularly considering that he NEVER DID ANYTHING OF NOTE during his time at Harvard or as a lawyer (or as a Senator, or as a President …)
And what does 'almost pluperfect' mean? If pluperfect is more than perfect, almost pluperfect would be just perfect, right? Reminds me of a line from 'The Money Pit' – "You're almost late!" "Yeah, well we have a term for almost late – 'on time'".

I'm sorry. It seems to be a reflex from some conservatives to say that Barak is a "decent guy." Remeber, he voted four times against the "born alive infant protection act," which would have mandated giving life saving medical aid to babies that survived an abortion. He voted against this four times. Please. Let's think about that before we call him a decent guy. Sure, he is not a monster, but decent. I think not.

The pluperfect is a grammatical construction used to refer to an event that had been completed before another action that happened in the past– before I ran out of gas I stopped to pick up a pack of cigs. It has nothing to do with a person's behavior or qualities.

"Pluperfect" – looked it up in my 1958 edition of the American College Dictionary; it's a freakin' grammatical term! "perfect with respect to a temporal point of reference in the past. Example: In 'He had done it when I came,' had done is pluperfect (completed action) in relation to came". I think that Chris just pulled out this nice-sounding word that doesn't mean what he thought it did.
He didn't just vote against it, he stood up on the Senate floor and spoke in favor of banning it. The man actually advocated murdering babies after they'd already been born.

I find it very interesting that Chris defined America, as just like in Gatsby a person can create their own identity. Was that slip of the tingling tongue. Has he even read Gatsby. Its been several years, but if I recall Gatsby was a fraud. He was not who he appeared to be. So Chris is saying that Obama is like Gatsby, a fraud. He claims that Obama was a good student. How does Chris, the alleged journalist, know that Obama was a good student. Has he, unlike the rest of us, actually seen Obama's transcript from Occidental College, Columbia or Harvard Law School. Chris reveals in his choice of comparison between Obama and Gatsby, that something is not adding up, that perhaps not all is at it appears. Perhaps Obama, like Gatsby, surrounded himself by expensive books to give the appearance of intelligence, but in reality, just like Gatsby, Obama has never actually read any of those books. Perhaps, Chris is having a Nick moment in Gatsby's library, when he realizes it is all a fraud and a deception. Chris, rather than admit he has been deceived, would rather blame others who stand and vocally declare this emperor has no clothes. Does anyone else think its funny to compare Obama to Gatsby?

I wish people would stop analyzing him the way you would the usual politician this country has been used to dealing with. This guy has Communistic ties through the relationships of his parents and, when they dumped him, his grandparents. He was raised in a different cultural environment than that of an American citizen. His backing is from George Soros, that has used his influence of power and money to open doors that no "average" American could dream of. He was placed on the staff at Harvard in the face of the objections and rejection of his resume and qualifications by the departments' own faculty.
When are people going to realize that we are watching a well planned, well timed, takeover of our country that has been in the works since the begiining of the last century? Our own politicians, whether they were part of the inside plan or not, helped to create this monstrosity through their own greed and the mentality of "DO ANYTHING" to stay in power.
The only way to have half a chance at winnng against this takeover is to demand the start of the Impeachment process and totally discredit ANYONE – Politician, White House Staff, Lobbyist – that is associated with Obama so they can never again be involved our government.

I agree with the other responders–I think he's a monster clothed in nice clothes, and a seemingly "easy going" persona. He's lying out of both his faces about everything. If we keep this in mind when we hear him blather on about any subject, we'll have him in the proper perspective. I don't trust him.
