Am I the only one that thinks Bill Maher looks like a hobbit? And I'm not only commenting on his height, or lack there of, I'm talking about the whole creepy face thing he has gong on.

Gorge Carlin? Dead. Richard Pryor? Dead. Lenny Bruce? Dead and hasn't gotten any deader over the years. Bill Maher? Still alive and painfuly unfunny.
He's a lost cause, don't waste your time. I cancelled my HBO and DVR Red Eye now. My Best television viewing decision ever, other than the uncalled for Griffin attacks. Greg your show has better content and is fresher and what is amazing is you do it 4-5 times a week not once. Roger Ailes if you are listening MOVE RED EYE to Midnight. It's time to take everyone on ABC, NBC, CBS and HBO.

The way Maher keeps lowering the bar with each show, he'll eventually have to stand on his desk and beat-off all over the audience.
Gosh, I'm a terrible judge of looks, you should see my girlfriend, but Maher looks smarmier each time his disgraceful image is before me. I haven't watched his program since he left, I believe it was ABCTV.
He seems to get shorter, grow older and look oilier each time he intrudes in my presence.
Throw in his sandpaper personality and it is difficult to keep breakfast from reappearing
Maher is one of those creatures, don't get me wrong, but I don't think he's a hobbit exactly. All I'm saying is, we never actually saw Gollum die in LOTR.
No, Buckwheat, it was Maher, a bagpipe and a goat, not an octopus. This really bothers me, as I have seen neither my pet Billy nor Groundskeeper Willie in some time. I should probably give Maher or Hugh Hefner a call.
Does anyone doubt Bil Maher would ship half the country off to re-education camps if he got half a chance?
A liberal friend of mine in the UK wrote a comedy show that was basically a Bush bash fest a couple years ago. I gave him my honest opinion. Politics aside, I just found the premise cliched and tiresome leftist clap trap. Apparently he was more interested in playing up to the anti-Bush sentiment in his rabidly left-wing town than doing something fresh and original.
i know i combined 2 segments there, but the image presented itself and now is even worse that intended, such is the power of The Gut

When I heard on the news a couple of years ago that old men were arrested for having polygamist sex in a compound with young girls, my first thought was that they were talking about Hefner and Maher.
As long as we keep buying into the notion that people who don't know their asses from a hole in the ground are "thinking outside the box", a description erroneously denoting the presence of superior intellect, we will continue to produce "villagers" like Maher.

I always refer to him as Bill "Putty Face" Maher. And it seems that the putty, or modeling clay, or whatever, is never molded into a realistic, human-like face.
greg you are wrong about politics and comedy, ronald reagan could get the crowd rolling on the floor telling jokes about liberals. also i like when ann coulter shows up, or that s.e. cupp, but why ruin it with ugly guys, you need more eye candy on the show, better yet smart intelligent eye candy, yumm!
I didn't expect that much hate from O'Rourke to Limbaugh. I thought they were pretty much on the same side. Well, if i'm being asked to choose, I'm siding with Rush every single time.

The Left pulled the run out from under itself RE: Bush's entertainment value.
At first, they got a lot of mileage out of preconceived notions that GWB was an overgrown frat boy, had a dearth of intellectual curiosity, and, quizzically, was also, simultaneously, a complete moron who was a puppet of his own administration and an evil genius capable of all sorts of complex malfeasance.
And then two things happened.
1) The sheep so wanting to believe those things to be the truth got what they needed – nonstop brainwashing by the Hollywood Left and the leftist mainstream media. Facts be damned (GWB's grades/standardized test scores exceeded those of F. John Kerry, for example), it has been declared and it shall be regarded as so! Lump him in with every other prominent conservative that was incorrectly defined and caricatured by the leftist media and Hollywood – Dan Quayle, Newt Gingrich, Dick Cheney, Ronald Regan (RIP), Katherine Harris, Sarah Palin, GHWB, John McCain, Charleton Heston (RIP), and on and on….
2) For those that were capable of objective thought on the matter, it got old. Seriously old – sort of like witnessing Bill Maher's reliance upon certain cheap crutches (applause lines instead of laugh lines, as the elegant Ms. Coulter pointed out). Worse than that, even…worn out more heavily than those Geico "Caveman" commercials. I was and am a huge GWB fan (he has his flaws, to be certain), but even I laughed hysterically the first few times Will Farrell played GWB. Strategery. It didn't take long for subsequent efforts to get lazy in nature, however.
Maher worries me sometimes. He is so incredibly disaffected that I could almost foresee a Hunter S. Thompson-esque outcome for him. Bill really looks more and more worn out every time you see him.
Anyway, Red-Eye is masterful. I don't like Maher. Gutfeld is a genius. Ann Coulter is on my [very short] "safe list"
. Jim Norton (the bald comedian) is somebody I've been following for years (on Comedy Central) and is a riot. In-studio-Bill is an epic foil. They always have nice legs seated on the far right seat. They've got a talking New York Times newspaper, FFS! What is not to like? 
Maher – and others like him (i.e. Jon Stewart) – lose their edge when they are surrounded by too friendly of a crowd. Some of Stewart's finest moments have been the few times his audience challenged him (i.e. when he ripped on BHO and had to inform his audience it was ok to laugh at jokes about Obama). When you surround yourself with sycophantic associates and play to a Stepford crowd, it does become tempting to phone it in. Stewart is managing fine so far, but Maher has just gotten L-A-Z-Y.
Hey, well, you know, at least they're (i.e. Sean Penn) being honest.
It does pretty much seem that, these days, Tokio Rose would not be arrested. She would be given a show on HBO – check that – Showtime, definitely Showtime. Maybe made a network news anchor, if her legs were good enough.
Troll or not, I do believe they refer to an actual erosion in standards, during a time of war, especially, as to what is and what is not "patriotic", "treasonous", or even simply "unacceptable". It actually *is* a shame.
PJ O'Rourke was obviously blotto. The guy was brilliant in his heydey, but for the past few years the booze has pickled his brain. He is only a shell of his former self. Sad.
I'm not kidding, that boy's head is like Sputnik–spherical but quite pointy at parts! Now that was offside, wasn't it? He'll be crying himself to sleep tonight on his huge pillow.

I used to call him a smurf, then I went to the Elephant Man and then Beetlejuice. Hobbits are a cute, Maher is more like Gollum.
Sadly, he hasn't written anything decent in years. I used to check the shelves for new O'Rourke – but no longer.
