Daily Gut: ‘Teabaggers’ Tuesday Triumph

Remember how ridiculously funny the whole “teabagging” thing was? Those other networks really got into it – and there was no one better at denigrating those silly folks with signs, than that classy lady Rachel Maddow.
(pause for gleeful Maddow saying teabag back in April.)
She got a kick out of that. Now, fast forward to last night – where we have more uproarious footage of Rachel.
(pause for miserable Maddow glumly reporting that Scott Brown won).
Sorry, I guess “uproarious” isn’t the right word. “Downroarious?” Yeah, she’s definitely “downroarious.”
Anyway, I might quote Morrissey, and say the joke isn’t funny anymore, but that would be wrong. The joke, I’m thinking, is just getting started.
See, now is the time for the tea party movement to embrace the “teabag” moniker, for it’s that silly slur that helped amp the angst leading to Scott Brown’s huge win.
(Note: how come there are no ugly people named Scott? Scott Baio. Scott Bakula. Scott Raggins -my freshman science teacher.Taye Diggs – I know – his name’s not Scott, but you can’t argue with his non-ugliness.)
Fact is, the phrase “teabag” is a profound symbol of the disconnect between elitist jackasses and the rest of America. Every time an MSNBC host snickered about “teabagging,” it reminded everyone else that the media won’t take you seriously, if you reject their liberal assumptions about the world. Plus the media only likes protestors if they look like protestors: anti-war t-shirt in place, earnest look on your face. Oh, and don’t forget the $200 cushioned, air-bubbled jogging shoes. And, if you’re going to protest, you better protest about the things the media wants you to protest: saving the planet, nuclear power, flat mimosas at brunch. But protesting the lefty expansion of government? That just won’t cut it.
Anyway, Maddow and her ilk learned a valuable lesson last night: the people who nail you in the end, are usually those you take lightly. And calling them teabaggers just helped them kick your ass.
And if you disagree with me, you’re probably a racist homophobe who hates the planet.

Has anyone ever seen her and Andy D*ck in the same place at the same time?

I'm betting Rachel Madcow hasn't been near a "teabag" ever – well maybe in a fumbled experimental "phase" during college…but once she went "carpet" she never went back.
What a ridiculous, angry bunch of clowns on MSNBC. Obviously that channel is soaking up revenue from the mothership NBC, how much $$$$$ can they afford to lose.
Do ratings matter? At all? Ratings got Leno booted back to 11:35, and Conan booted to where, Fox?
How can MSNBC stagger along with less than a million veiwer aggregate at most times?

To be ridiculed and insulted by the likes of Maddow, Olbermann and the other jackasses is a badge of honor to be worn proudly. The smug smirks have given way to incredulousness. How can this be? Oh yeah, Massachussetts is not really a liberal state according to Maddow.
I'm sooooo grateful for the MSM adding another phrase to my vocabulary for which I'd just have soon have remained in blissful ignorance.T
This insider smugness is what's done them in. When Anderson Cooper first made the "teabagger" snark last spring, his cohorts in the Lamestream instantly got the hilarious connection: Those stupid little people out there in America!!! They don't even know that "teabagging" refers to oral/genital sex!!! HaHaHaHaHa!!!
They were right; and we wondered why THEY seemed so familiar with it.
VodkaPundit offers a great suggestion: Since the MSM are always giving Obama a helping hand, we should start referring to them as "hand-jobbers."

I remember when they first started using the word "teabagger" to describe protesters. The lefty pundits laughed from on high at the stupid redneck, knuckle-draggers who hadn't realized how close "teaparty" was to "teabagger" and what the term meant when they chose the name for the movement. I knew that it referred to something sexual in RL, but in gaming, when somebofy completely pwns you in PVP and makes you look like a complete n00b who needs to L2P, they often sit on your corpse or otherwise find ways to mock you dead avatar. This is teabagging you. Therefore, if you are a teabagger, you are the who just completely owned someone's worthless butt. I think that sort of just happened last night in Massachusetts myself.
