by Greg GutfeldSo Valerie Jarrett was interviewed by CNN’s delightful Campbell Brown at something called “the Women’s Conference.” There Jarrett rags on Fox News for distortions, which is her word for “bringing up stuff that we wish you wouldn’t bring up.”
Now VJ could have listed some of these false statements, but instead she barked a lazy “of course they’re biased”– a statement you’d expect from a pierced Greenpeace volunteer, not a White House adviser.
But let’s focus on what she really said:
She claims America doesn’t have time for such “distortions.” Replace “distortions” with “debate,” and you’ve got the real truth. The administration wanted to push health care reform like a hot knife through butter, but the public wised up and said, “hold on there, pal.” Jarrett also said Americans should be allowed to reach their own judgment – which is odd since it was the Dems, not Fox News, who were trying to preempt the conversation. I mean, let’s not also forget their take on the global warming debate: the debate is over! But you can bet when the debate does start over the climate change bill –VJ will blame Fox News for preventing the debate!

Finally, there’s VJ’s description of their spat with Fox News as part of the White House’s strategy to “speak truth to power.” Okay, the last time I checked, in order to “speak truth to power,” the dynamic has to be the little guy vs. something hugely powerful. How hilarious is it that even when they’re in power, the left still wants to speak truth to power – which, theoretically, is them!
But if they’re so desperate to speak truth to power: here are some powers they can speak truth to (besides a cable news network): Iran, North Korea, Russia, George Soros. But I suppose speaking truth to those powers takes more balls than sniping at Fox News.
So much for the hyper-masculine environment of the Oval Office we’ve heard so much about. This isn’t a White House, it’s a dollhouse.

I thought puking the "Truth to Power" canard was telling. It shows that they are taking on a siege mentality at the White House and are devoid of anything more convincing to make their case "Organizer-speak" What a bunch of self-important little children we have running that place. Never mind that she was flummoxed by Campbell Brown's challenge regarding MSNBC's bias.

This is a woman who convinced Hussein to run off and attempt to bribe the Olympic Commitee to host the Olympics in Chitcago! They had the plans all drawn up that would be the new Olympic Park to be errected on the same spot the VJ is the slum lord of. tsk tsk tsk

That's why I no longer get my news from the MSM. I may have it on for back ground noise, but I get my news from the new alternative media. And I find I'm usually about 72 hours ahead of the MSM.
I have a pretty good hunch next Tuesday's elections in NY-23, Va., and NJ. will create huge speed bumps in the thought process of the conservative democrats, the blue dogs.

"Truth to power" = Cliche. So, you make claims about a whole news network and then when you're questioned about said claims you start spouting cliches that don't even fit the part. The left has no arguments, just cliches. Remember, it's better to look good than to feel good. With them it's better to look like you care or look like you know what you're doing then it is to actually care or know.
Can't back up your argument? Start speaking in cliches! That's my advice to VJ but hey, that's just me speaking (real) truth to (real) power.

A tipping point has been reached, question is will it affect political equation in time for Obama's plans which will have half the population living off productive people in time for his re-election bid. My only beef with Fox is that they put the Gut on too late. That said, guests seem a lot more relaxed speaking their mind from 3-4am. Maybe they think no one is watching.
