by Greg GutfeldSo you remember Barbara Boxer’s attack on the townhall protesters, calling them disruptive “plants,” because they were too well dressed to be protesters.
She had a point: they were well dressed. And most protesters of the lefty persuasion are not–a marker of people who lack real professions allowing them to purchase clean clothes. Boxer believed that these outspoken, button-downed folks were all part of a right-wing plot meant to stir up anxiety, fear, and perhaps soup. And of course, yesterday, President Obama kept the joke alive his own town hall meeting, saying he didn’t “want people thinking I just have a bunch of plants in here.”
How funny is it then, that when it comes to plants, the leftwing response is beginning to look like a spread in “House and Garden.” Michelle Malkin points out that the little girl that asked that key question about those old people “saying mean things” is actually the daughter of a major Obama campaigner, supporter and donor.
Now, nevermind that using a kid to smear some old folks holding signs is a tad sleazy. If an adorable child is concerned over evil people saying mean things, how can you not agree? I mean, children are our future, as long as they agree with Obama.
And besides, old people are old: a drain on our resources. And they smell of Vicks.
Meanwhile, according to so many websites that I lost count, that jackass parading around a “Barack Obama as Hitler” poster at a John Dingell town hall may actually have been a John Dingell supporter. Remember, Dingell was the douche who compared health care protesters to the KKK. The KKK and Nazis–that’s quite a coincidence, don’t you think?
But hey, maybe I’m a plant. I do require regular sunlight and watering–and I’m often soiled.

Of course we have "Plants". We water them every day and they add a touch of green to the rooms of our home. I thought the Dem's were supposed to be pro-green? I guess Kermit is persona non grata (sp?) too.

Calling protesters "plants" is only the latest scheme used by Liberals to discredit those who disagree with them. Next they will be telling the media to ignore any and all negative polls on healthcare reform because the people surveyed were obviously paid and scripted to answer negatively based on how accurately and articulately they answered the questions.
Then they'll call the overwhelming momentum against Obama Care a referundum to how badly Americans really do want Healthcare reform.
Whats really funny about all this, is that this is what the left thinks of its own constituants. They honestly believe their own supporters are dumb enough to believe these ridiculous assertions by Congeressmen like Boxer, Pelosi, Hoyer and so many others. I would be so offended to be talked to this way, and even more embarrassed or ashamed that this was my representative. This just shows how litttle shame there is on the left anymore.

I wasn't able to get to the meeting, of course, or it might have turned out a bit differently. But I've been waiting for the knock on the door all day. Canada's health care system is an example of Fascism. The bright idea is to do away with competition. The only way the government can guarantee health care is to control it 100%. Then you can (in theory) control the costs, profit margins, wages, access and quality.
That is the theory of Fascism created by Socialist Mussolini who felt that Socialism didn't go far enough. He needed to do what needed to be done with total cooperation. So they still allow people to sell ammo in town? I've been getting my supplies from family in law enforcement in So Cal, but they always have to bring them into town personally, disguised as floral arrangements.

There are other groups that are begging an audience with him. Dicks' office answered one of them with a letter asking for a list of topics/ questions and time they think they will need for each topic. They will apparently decide whether it is worth his time or if it fits in with his whim and fancy. I don't think the plebes should hold their collective breath.

Anyway, he IS holding an invitation only discussion – 60-70 people with ONE republican invited – in my town. One. Where is the news coverage on the 69 plants? Cantwell and Murray are also having stealth invite only meetings.

When I was in college all my accoutning professors taught us the representative John Dingell was the antichrist for wanting to do away with the FASB and make all auditors the bailiwick of the SEC. Today the FASB is given way to the International Standards Board and the SOX law has all but reduced auditing in corporations to simple internal compliance. That was 20 years ago. Mr. Masters is lucky he is no longer alive to see it.
