So, it’s official: Barack Obama is a bigot.
In a brave stance not seen since the beginning of time, a number of celebrities, journalists and bloggers have called President Obama out on his ignorant, narrow-minded views toward gay marriage.
First, it was renegade blogger Perez Hilton who, after noting Obama`s Christian beliefs, called our President a “stupid bitch.” Shortly after that, pageant judge Alicia Jacobs rose up and said she would not have voted for Obama because of his intolerant and freakish views. Meanwhile, outspoken blogs like Queerty and Gawker have started using the b-word against Barack, calling him an out and out bigot. And then – out of nowhere – the Miss California USA pageant has urged Obama to apologize to the gay community! Finally – in possibly the bravest action of all, hard-hitting E News anchor Guliana Rancic tweeted that President Obama is an ignorant disgrace.
This is amazing stuff, people. By coming out against the President over his negative views on gay marriage, these folks are putting their livelihoods at risk.
Okay, they really haven`t actually said Obama by name. Instead, they focused their wrath on Carrie Prejean, the Miss USA contestant who views about gay marriage are entirely the same as President Obama`s. But if Prejean is a bigot for her views, and Obama holds the same views, then clearly Obama is a bigot too.
If A = B, and B = C, then A= C. I learned that when I was ten.
Of course, you won`t hear any of this from those brave voices I mentioned above. I guess views about gay marriage matter if you`re in a beauty pageant, but not if you`re in the White House. Or maybe these folks hold different standards for blonde girls than they do for black dudes.
Meaning, they lower the bar for Obama. Which you could call racist. After all, lowering expectations for someone because of who they are really is the definition of bigotry.
But I prefer not to think that way. Fact is, people like Rancic, Jacobs and Perez are heroes. They know how much tougher it is to beat up on a white Christian chick, than go after the most popular president since Morgan Freeman in “Deep Impact.”
For that they deserve a pie of some kind.

I am a gay conservative who does not vote on the marriage issue because of this basic fact. While you're at it, you can throw in our Secretary of State, and our Vice President. Isn't it funny how the left so demeaned Dick Cheney, yet on this most important issue (to them anyway), he was there with them.
Others have said this, but it bears repeating: liberals don't gang up on Blowbama and pals because they know they're lying. The Democrat Party is run by the polls. They change their position every time the opinion polls change (see: the enhanced interrogation position shifting then and now, the Iraq war shifting then and now, the Surge then and now, and on and on).
Obama isn't a bigot. He's just completely without a soul. And this is exactly what liberals want: an empty conduit to getting everything they want. And if you don't give it to them, they'll show up at your house. Because that's what tolerant people do.
Only if it's same-sex bestiality.
Only the extreme far left will ever criticize Obama. And all inhabitants of the left know that any time Obama makes a statement supporting traditional beliefs, it's just to get votes, so they won't abandon him. If a poll showed that gay marriage was now the majority view, Obama would volunteer to perform a very public gay wedding. Since it isn't, he'll just continue to "support traditional marriage" without opposing "gay marriage" in any meaningful way. It's a genuine issue on which the gay and straight communities have multiple varying opinions, and that allows Obama to pander to nearly everyone.

Since when does George Soros' hand puppet have his own views? He says what he is told to say on any issue regardless of whether it is a contradiction of his last statement on the same issue. How can you criticize him? Would you criticize Kermit for singing about being green?
It would be cool if the Log Cabin Republicans were to take this up as a fight and have a big protest at the White House. I was thinking this morning that it would also be fun to show up at Janeane Garofolo's shows with signs blasting her as a racist. When people would ask why we'd just say…"hey, she knows what she did" or something else vague. Maybe it's time to start blaming those who attack us with baseless charges to get some of their own medicine.

Greg, as delicious as this Daily Gut is, the problem is that everybody on the left knows that Obama doesn't really mean it. On the other hand, Miss California does mean it, and so she must pay.
The thuggery exhibited by the haters on the left side of this issue has driven me into the arms of the Pro-Prop 8 folks. Intimidation and violence must be opposed.

I would lay money on Obama really favoring homosexual marriages, just not in public, not yet.
A guy on Dennis Miller's radio show said it best about perez "hilton": he's a despicable human being who makes his living off of personal attacks. The guy looks and sounds like he'd be right at home living under a bridge somewhere, living off a different kind of trash.
Two thoughts:
1) I would love to ask Donald Trump, Billy Bush, and the producers of the pageant if it was just a coincidence that Miss California pulled out the name of Perez Hilton, or was she set up and they decided in advance that no matter which name she drew, they would say she picked Mr. Hilton.
2) It's too bad that her PR people hadn't made sure she was fully prepared for such a question. She could have stayed true to her beliefs, and probably kept the outspoken Mr. Hilton and others at bay, if she had said something like this: "First of all, I'm so grateful that I live in the United States of America and can state my opinion without fear of repercussions. To answer your question, I agree with President Obama, who stated in an interview that he believes marriage should be between a man and woman. I also agree with former Vice President Cheney, who said he feels this is an issue which should be handled on the state level."
obama is just waiting for the exact moment of a great payoff for him to reveal that he's had a change of heart, and guess what?! he's for gay marriage!

In my suggested comment in 2) above, I left off an important phrase after the words, "United States of America," and wanted to include, "where we have freedom of speech, and I can state my opinion without fear of repercussions." My question is this: DO we still have freedom of speech???

Mr Obama is, no doubt, a very comlex man of profoundly nuanced thought processes. Within his liberation theology belief matrix, I'm sure he'll find the most appropriate and refined words to express his thoughts regarding this nationally divisive issue. I have faith in him.

They do indeed deserve a pie – a cream pie in the face, like all clowns. Lets face it, you conservatives are nuts with all this whining about the gays getting hitched, but the way this Prejean girl has been treated is shocking – she was asked a political question and she gave a political answer, and for that she's being treated like David freakin Duke! If that talentless heterophobic mud slinger "Perez Hilton" doesn't want to hear the answer he shouldn't ask the question. As for the famous and their political views, i don't give a damn if it's John Ratzenberger or Leo DiCaprio, unless the individual in question has proven his intellectual caliber in some way he should just shut up and act.

All this media-fawning (Politico actually has a subdomain called "Politico44" which is "all about" Obama's Presidency, day by day, moment by moment, star to star…), all the media-fawning about Obama has ALWAYS seemed to me to be overcompensation such that they're, well, surprised he's there, doing it, being President! All this exceptional help (how many times every day do I read that we're supposed to 'give him a chance' or "cut him some slack" as to Obama's dumbfounding awfulness), all this exceptional media exposure and "extra help" is the media expressing their unstated belief that he NEEDS all this extra help and extra coverage…

Perez Hilton is symptomatic of the Hollywood elite: he knows better than we mere mortals how to live our lives and believes that any misperceived intolerance should be met with even greater intolerance. Carrie Prejean is a freakin' HEROINE for standing up for her beliefs, regardless of how "correct" (politically or otherwise) they are. And Greg Gutfeld is a genius disguised as a buffoon (but it's a poor disguise, ruined when he shares his wisdom with us all).
