Daily Gut: Pirates
by Greg GutfeldSo I think we can all admit that what happened Sunday off the African coast was kinda awesome. Of course, it’s not that I needed to be reminded that we have the most badass military alive – it’s that I like being reminded of it.
But last week, as I watched the situation unfold from Studio D (a comfy perch protected by armed security) I couldn’t help but be reminded of one simple fact that led to this event: the unarmed are always vulnerable to the armed.
And that made me realize that this ship is no different than a shopping mall or college campus – it’s a place where people congregate or work – all operating under the assumption that we live in a sane world where if you just live your life, people won’t kill you.
Not always. In a free world, we forget how easy it is for thugs and psychopaths to take advantage of that freedom.
Which is why good people need guns.
I mean, how can a tanker that size – it’s a town on water – be so vulnerable to a pack of underweight thugs?
The underweight thugs had guns.
Seriously – I don’t get the argument against arming a few folks on planes, ships and campuses. If bozos like me in the media are protected by armed dudes at every turnstile, why can’t we have the same for undergrads or seamen?
I also get the argument that no employee of a company needs to risk his life to protect cargo that isn’t his. But tell that to Brinks. They drive around with far less valuable stuff – and they’re armed to the hilt. And come on – if you had a relative on a ship, or working at a mall, for that matter – you’d want to know they’re safe.
So Sunday was truly an amazing day for America and our military. But let’s try preventing this crap from happening again. A three inch 50 caliber might be a start. I hear it goes great with a cable knit sweater and a pea coat.
Tonight we’ve got Monica Crowley, Liz Wiel, comedian Joe Devito, and some other surprises!

Gregalogue! And how right he is. So listen to this, people who listen to thisers: Arm the crews of the merchants ships and don't rely on the law of the sea to protect you. People who don't rely on the law of the sea, or any law whatsoever are counting on you to be unarmed. International treaties and UN rules and regulations are inferior to the law of self-defense.
Greg…..what is long and full of seamen?
As mindless a piece of drivel as everything this guy dreams up.
One 50 Caliber isn't going to be enough. You'd have to cover 360 degrees around the ship, or they'd figure out the blind spot and come in from that angle. Also, many are armed with RPGs, and I'm not sure how many ships want to risk taking rocket fire…they kind of make a big target. I don't know what the right answer is, but before too long we're going to have to find it. These people have found a way to support their crappy country, and they aren't going to give it up without a fight.
I agree. The crews should be armed.
Yeah our military is soooooo badass…from long distance they snuffed out 3 teenagers that barely knew how to operate a gun
The standard media fawning over Obama has become more than unbearable. First AP published a piece about how it's "typical reserved, cool, controlled Obama" to not say anything for days or really consider it a big issue – the guy even ordered pizza from something like 800 miles away while this was happening, and our Secretary of State giggled over the affair.
Then, through no action of Obama's, the military that had been sitting and watching a man try to rescue HIMSELF gets a shot and takes it. Now the AP is celebrating Obama's "decisive action and thorough involvement".
Understand me: I don't wish this had ended differently. Unlike liberals, I'm not unhinged – I don't wish harm on my fellow countrymen to make a political point. But I do wish the media were more responsible. Obama didn't rescue this man. His inaction nearly cost the man his life, and his inability to take a public stance against this type of nonsense has made it certain it will happen again. And the media celebrates him, as they always do.
It will be a long 4 years. I just hope and pray it won't be 8.
How did we defeat the pirates in times long ago? Didn't the British go after them with everything they had? Though my 4 year old nephew wants to be a pirate when he grows up – but a nice pirate, not a mean pirate…
This is exactly why I called my Congressman last week and asked that he sponsor legislation to allow employees on American ships to carry side arms.
your pathetic attempt at sarcasm is actually less impressive than those 3 teenagers and their skills at choosing a target for kidnapping and extortion.
Those pirates are no different than teen gangbangers who terrorize Americans on our own soil. And you don't see any rational people being upset by cops taking out these thugs. (Irrational people like Al Sharpton are a different story.)
So, the Navy Seals should feel no shame gunning down seafaring gangbangers holding an American citizen hostage.
Hire ex-Navy SEALS as cooks for the vessels. Once the pirates board the ships the "cooks" will confront the pirates as follows :
Ex Navy SEAL: What made you flip like this?
Pirate : I got tired of coming up with last-minute desperate solutions to impossible problems created by others.
Ex Navy SEAL: All of your ridiculous pitiful antics aren't gonna change a thing. You and me, we're *puppets* in the same sick game. We serve the same master, and he's a lunatic and he's ungrateful. But there's nothing we can do about it. You and me, we're the same.
Pirate : Oh, no. No. No. No. There's a difference, me matey. You have money. I don't!
A knife fight erupts between them
Well Dick,
You should take it upon yourself to educate these "teenagers."
After all, they were the dumbasses who hijacked a huge ship and "barely knew how to operate a gun."
Message to the pirates — next time train a little before trying to go big time. That goes for the Pittsburgh Pirates too.
In the interest of freeing up more bandwidth for the more intelligent commenters here at BH, I'll keep it short.
Oh yea Hascel! SHUT UP NUMB NUTS!
I am sooo really losing my well tempered patients with all of these nut jobs lately.
Not Over.
Nice spelling. Must be a teabagger.
Yes Obama looked at the issue with red colored hopium glasses on and saw that he must give the order. What was this order? If the captains LIFE is in danger you can take the shoot.
Was not the captains life in danger the second the ship was taken over? Did he also need a AK 47 pointing at the back of his head? What kind of rules of engagement is this for our military? These guys are not your local cops these men are highly trained soldiers to do a certain job. Do not ask them to follow some stupid order of having the life of the captain in even more danger with this foolish condition attached.
Okay "DICK" this is how it works. A person picks up a gun. This person points the gun at an unarmed person with the intent to kill. The law shows up (In this case the military is the law) The law kills the armed person before they can kill the unarmed person! This is how it works in the real world. They stopped being 3 teenagers the minute they picked up an automatic weapon with the intent to kill. They are then called "TARGETS"!
Our Military Is Friggin' Awesome!
Isn't it time for your mandatory, Obama ordered, Monday night:
“How You too Can be an American Military Hating Wet Footed Troll Meat”, seminar hosted by that timeless patriot Jane Fonda?
Not Over.
The way I heard it, Obama flew out to the Bainbridge himself and made all three head shots before the first pirate hit the deck.
He's quite a man's man.
Of course, maybe I just need to stop listening to Chris Matthews…
The Navy and Marine Corps made their bones in the early 19th century by killing pirates. I think it's time we turned the Navy loose on these idiots. Again. Thes guys are in it for the $$$. When they figure out that they stand at least a 1 in 3 chance that they might end up dead, the word will get out pretty quickly that it's stupid to mess with US flagged ships.
Didn't I hear this in a steven seagal movie??
Congrats on living up to your name, Dick. I love how guys like you with massive inferiority complexes like to sit back and criticize men with a lot bigger stones than you. Sallyboy.
I'd have to say the sea of the Somalian coast is VERY different from a shopping mall (or Gutfeld has been going to the wrong malls). Everyone knows that the coast there is lawless and the pirates are there, so yeah–kind stupid not to bring a gun–or better yet, a cannon or two.
At the shopping malls *I* go to, however, the worst thing that's bound to happen is some group of teenagers snap their chewing gum too loudly. It's be nonsensical and dangerous to suggest everyone carry guns to a mall just in case there's the occasional lunatic.
Did anyone else see the report about the Somali warlords firing on the plane of one of our New Jersey democratic congressmen in relatiation for this event?
Is that what you call a win-win?
OK, a little snarky maybe, but funny…they didn't hit the guy.
Please note that some on the right were looking to blame Obama last week when the hostage situation started. [Oh we look weak!]. Then as soon as it turned out alright many immediately went into cover their a** mode and claimed Obama had nothing to do with it and how could the media say he did. Blah blah blah.
The fact is, if some were willing to blame Obama if something like this had gone wrong then they have to be willing to give credit when it went right. That is the only honest thing to do. But really this should never have even become a political issue at all.
Personally, I didn't even think of this in political terms until I started reading the media and then reading the right wing and left wing take on this. It's sort of crazy. The credit should be given to the SEALS. They did a great job.
Greg, you're in the media?
Maybe you missed to memo from Troll HQ. Commenting on blogs are suppose to be "fast and sloppy", troll meat.
Not unlike your first intimate encounter, with something warm with feathers. Ah…good times…good times. Remember?
Not Over.
If you ever bothered to watch the show you'll understand why I say: You sir, are worse than Hitler.
Yep, that Obama – crack shot, swam through shark infested water, parachuted onto the deck of the ship unnoticed, threw the hostage overboard and made it look like he jumped, then used his gun to kill all three pirates with one shot. My hero! Do you think he can even swim? Has ever fired a weapon? I saw that YouTube video of some event when somebody fired a shot and he almost jumped out of his shorts!
Exactly. The captain had already jumped overboard once. They could have killed him then. His life was ALWAYS in danger. They should've taken him out the first time he jumped.
That's what people in Bombay thought. That's what people in the WTC thought. That's what people in Madrid train stations thought.
And it will be true. Until it isn't.
Malls are easy, soft targets for a few jihadis with AK-47's. Easy to kill hundreds, or thousands even, and get away.. In the confusion. Attacks can even be coordinated as they were in Bombay with Blackberries, text messaging, GPS, and all that. The same Yuppie tools that make life easy can be made to take life easy.
From the Navy SEALs' creed:
"My loyalty to country and team is beyond reproach. I humbly serve as a guardian to my fellow Americans, always ready to defend those who are unable to defend themselves. I do not advertise the nature of my work, nor seek recognition for my actions. I voluntarily accept the inherent hazards of my profession, placing the welfare and security of others before my own. I serve with honor on and off the battlefield. The ability to control my emotions and my actions, regardless of circumstance, sets me apart from other men. … In the absence of orders I will take charge, lead my teammates and accomplish the mission. … I will never quit. I persevere and thrive on adversity. My nation expects me to be physically harder and mentally stronger than my enemies. If knocked down, I will get back up, every time. I will draw on every remaining ounce of strength to protect my teammates and to accomplish our mission. I am never out of the fight."
Thank God for the Navy Seals, the actions of which sent O's brainwashed sycophants into peals of adulation to claim credit. I am so proud of our military.
You'd know a set of tea bags dangling at your eye level, wouldn't you Eddie?
I had an Easter Brunch with a man who is a rice farmer – hence knows a lot of what's going on in the export world. He was saying that many – most – of the shipping company insurance companies prohibit having armed guards on board. They'd rather pay the ransom which, of course, encourages more piracy.
Questions I have always had – what kind of boats do these "pirates" use? Are they almost invisible to radar? They have to have a grappling hook of some kind – those ships are pretty tall from waterline to deck.
One .50 would decimate a small boat on the open seas.
For those of you light on history Thomas Jefferson as President was facing the same problem along what is now the Libyan coast. "Millions for defense; not once cent for tribute", he proclaimed. . The US Marines cut their mettle battling these pirates – in fact their hymn – "From the Halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli" reference this.
I am truly ambivalent – resentful for having shipping companies not willing to take a more preventative role – and then wait for the US Navy to rescue them – and as usual the world benefits from the US military.
But they have to be dealt with…
It's witless morons like you who named those stupid little parties, Jimmy. You sound like an angry li'l putz.
"You sir, are worse than Hitler."
Yeah, that was funny when Patty and Selma's supervisor said it to Homer.
Like to see you try it. How long before you peed your pants? Let's not forget these teenagers have probably had automatic weapons in their hands and khat in their blood stream since they were barely able to walk.
All props and congrats to the SEALS, who deserve ALL the credit. To Obama, for once, you did not get in the way.
Tryi it again sometime.
To the media. You are all a**wipes.
The SEALS and the captain are the heroes. The rest is just BS/
Whaa… widdle liberal boy….what do you tell the kid when "Uncle Sven" plays "sleep over"?
Sexual identity problems, Jimmy?
Apparently so.
Andrew Klavan really did get it right. No matter what tactic these people try to argue with you from, their basic argument always boils down to Shut Up. It's not You're Wrong or You're An Idiot or even plain old I Don't Like You, it's just Shut Up.
Dear dick…..he*d, parachute at night into a black ocean undetected, get out of your jump gear while treading water, make your way, underwater to a ship that may or may not be where it is supposed to be, take up positions undetected on a shooting platform that is pitching up and down in the water again in the dark, aim at a target(s) that is also pitching up and down in the water, wait for who knows how long until all 3 targets are simultaneously exposed, and hit all 3 targets simultaneously with the pressure of knowing that if even one shot misses the mark, the hostage will die and did I mention the darkness. You do not even qualify to wipe the dog she**at from the bottom of their boots. Come to think fo it, you are dog she**at on the bottom of their boots.
The fact is, if some were willing to blame Obama if something like this had gone wrong then they have to be willing to give credit when it went right.
And vice versa, shouldn't those who spoke up to cheer when he did the right thing be ashamed for not speaking up when he was delaying his decision?
The USMC was formed specifically during the term of James Madison to go and punitively attack the Barbary Pirates in northern Africa. As the song goes "…to the shores of Tripoli…" (Libya)
Angry widdle troll aren't we Eddie? Hold on, let me ask the wife about the sexual identity thing, hold on, be right back…..no, good here. And you? You life size Obowma cut out doll doesn't count.
Reminds me of that convenience store clerk who got fired about 20 years ago for not following company policy. His error was that after getting robbed, he ran out of the store in order to get the license plate number of the perps' vehicle. He got the number, but he also got his ass kicked when the robbers realized they'd been followed.
The company, feeling that he should have stayed inside and called the police, gave him his pink slip after he got out of the hospital. I guess they'd rather have taken the hit, financially, than taken the chance of getting their money back and putting a few more criminal yahoos in jail.
Every Navy SEAL that I have had the pleasure of knowing (a whopping three) has been a talented, well disciplined, courageous, kinda scary, honorable person that never hesitated to lead by example. We are truly lucky to have these amazing individuals on our side.
I probably would have stayed out of this but when a lefty finds a problem with regular people protesting an out of control Dem led country taxing it's heavy lifters into oblivion, I gotta speak up. That and the troll reliance on feigning "superior intelligence", ya right. Oh, and liberals love gay agenda stuff. It all fits together.

I saw somewhere today that if a ship's employees are armed that ups the insurance on the vessels, and some foreign ports won't allow armed foreign nationals to dock, all of which makes the companies unwilling to officially arm their crews. (What are U.S. rules? Could a boatload of Norwegians with holstered pistols dock in Galvetson or Los Angeles or New York?) And apparently ships are running with minimum crews due to cutbacks anyway. There was a lengthy article in last month's Vanity Fair about piracy. It's been going on for years, this was just the most publicized time Americans were affected. The French navy attempted a rescue of a private vessel over the weekend and a hostage got killed. The area the pirates operate in is ridiculously huge. It would take too much of our navy (and $) to patrol it regularly, nor should we have to. I'm so happy our guys blew those creeps' heads off, I just hope the other 250 hostages currently being held by the pirates don't get hurt in retaliation. All I can say is this…I remember my college years. there's no way I should have had access to a gun, and I'm not sure many of my fellow students should have either.
You exaggerate, Tom. Obama did actually fly to the pirate site. He stood on the deck of the Bainbridge and made a speech. While the hormone filled teenagers got glassy-eyed from the chill going up their legs, the Seals took their shot. So Obama did actually save the day. No need to over-dramatize.
Don't mess with american seaman or you'll end up getting it in the a s s, pirate!
Did you steal your name from that overrated Fonda movie?
I think it's not inconceivable that the decision to use force went something like this:
General: Mr. President, we can take out those goons in a heartbeat, please, PLEASE just give the word!
Obama: But there are other alternatives to violence that we haven't yet tried! How about letting them know
that we feel their pain, that we're so sorry that they're unhappy, that we intend to make things right and send teams of nation-builders with countless billions at their disposal to right every wrong that's been done to their country by the blue-eyed Imperialist/Capitalist devils.
Two wrongs don't make a right, General!
General: PLEASE Mr. President, I BEG you to reconsider! Just let our boys do their job and it'll be over in a flash (grins knowingly).
Obama: I dunno General, how will this play out on the evening news? Won't we look like War-mongering Imperialist bullies picking on those poor misunderstood Somalis? All my finely-honed "Commander in Chief" instincts tell me it would be just wrong!
Turn the other cheek, General! Love thine enemies, General! Why are you guys always looking for a violent solution to such problems rather than simply negotiating with them as equals?!
General: I'm BEGGING you Mr. President, PLEASE just let us do our job! By the way, YOU will receive all the credit for acting "Presidential"; and those crewmen and their Captain will all vote for you, AND make the rounds of all the talk shows like your favorites "The View" and Oprah, as well as Leno and Letterman- and their gratitude for your decision will surely win you tons of votes- maybe even convert some of the nasty unbelievers at such sites as Big Hollywood!
Obama: Well In that case, General, tell your men to lock and load!
Also a "Three Inch" .50 Cal … isn't that a snub nose revolver?
Best bet would be a large number of pump action 12ga shotguns … along with plenty of 3" slugs and 3" 00 Buckshot.
Simple to operate, simple to maintain, most mfgs make a "Marine" version in stainless steel, and not going to have the international problems you'd have with full auto or "evil looking" semi auto rifles.
Someone got F's in their History classes.
Dumb and stupid is no way to go though life kid.
Nothing dangerous about armed law abiding citizens.
Not sure where you live, but where I live there's always a few good guys packin' down at the mall (and if I'm there, it'll be me) Haven't had any mass shootings here … except for one schmuck that tried that silliness at one of our local churches and an armed woman brought him down..
Also, I'm more concerned about running into one of those "disadvantaged urban yoots" in the parking lot than a madman shooting up the place.
Its doubtful that the pirates would damage the ship since they need it in good shape to swap it for money, a sunken ship aint worth jack. As Zundfolge said, arm the crews with shotguns/pistols. That alone would be quite the deterent.
C'mon Jake, four letters and two letters you expect much more from first graders?
No, the .50 cal round is about 3 inches long.
No, in fact I haven't even seen it (although many mistake it for that).
He wouldn't know lock and load from lock a toad. After learning of his new-found constituency, he'd be more likely to ask if they could pop a cap in their asses. Publicly, of course, it would be "have your gentlemen put bullets in their guns and shoot at the other gentlemen."
You're absolutely right. It's stupid for innocent merchants on the lawless oceans to carry any means of protection against rampant abductors with AK-47's. Totally stupid. I mean, after all, we're civilized people!
I know, our military IS badass! Stupid effing teenagers. One day they're doing donuts in my lawn, and another day they're taking sailors hostage for ransom. Where are the parents?!
Under Seige. Don't ask me how I know.
I try to compare how the media would have handled it under the Bush administration. They're saying this was Obama's first test, and he passed it brilliantly, while ignoring his impotence with Iran's centrifuges and North Korea's missile launch.
I daresay you're right about his choice of phraseology. Although he…might…have heard that "lock and load" term is an old war movie (or from William "Blow 'em Up" Ayers), he should indeed be quite familiar with the "pop a cap in their asses" expression from his loyal constituents in A.C.O.R.N. during those glory days as "Community Organizer Commander in Chief" of Chicago…
To dick bukkake, you're an idiot. They may have been "Just teenagers" but they were teenagers who caused the death of one hostage and a lot of other chaos as well. In Somalia no one is "just a teenager". Read your news numbnutz. I don't think you'd be saying they were "just teenagers" if it were YOU who was being held. You'd probably beg to the high heavens, of a God you've never belived in until that moment, for one little bitty gun from a military guy to shoot them dead.
What it comes down to is this: Like Biden predicted…Obama would be tested. He was tested in this past week, and he demonstrated to the world that he was willing to use decisive force.
(you all can "and", "if" and "but" all you want, it doesn't change it.)
What are you talking about? Look at the excellent counter points he presents to counter Greg's thesis.
"As mindless a piece of drivel as everything this guy dreams up."
How can you not appreciate the elegance and sophistication of such a counter-argument. Not only does he disprove everything Greg said, but he also manages to give us all a whole new perspective on the issue.
Surely, this man must be some sort of hyper-scholar who collects PhDs faster than they can print them. We should be honored he has graced our website with his insight!
Thank you dick. I knew that somewhere on the Internetz, some a-hole would find a way to criticize our military for their proficient handling of a difficult situation. You have proven me right. I feel better now.
"The way I heard it, Obama flew out to the Bainbridge himself and made all three head shots before the first pirate hit the deck."
Don't be ridiculous. Obama shot all three of them from the roof of the White House.
The USMC's birthdate is November 10, 1775. Madison wasn't president until 1809.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Marine...
That's what people at Virgina Tech thought. It was a "gun free zone."
I agree with you ModDem. I am not an Obama supporter, but I appreciated the fact that he did not get in the way and mess this up. Maybe that is a low expectation I have of the president, but I know how politicians always feel that they must do _something_ (even when the best course of action is for them to do nothing).
Yeah, my dad had a .325 Weatherby (an elephant gun) and the shells were massive. A .50 caliber must be enormous. Even carrying the ammunition must be a chore.
You might be right, but if they were trying to take it over and suddenly came under fire, I wouldn't doubt they'd use any and all means to fight back (even if they have to damage the ship).
You might be right, but if they were trying to take it over and suddenly came under fire, I wouldn't doubt they'd use any and all means to fight back (even if they have to damage the ship).
I'm reserving judgment. There are stories out that are claiming he had no choice except to authorize the snipers taking the shot if they felt the Captain was in danger. Legally there is supposedly no other option. I'm not going out on a limb because I don't know the facts and haven't heard it from sources I consider serious enough yet, but the truth should be out there for everyone in a day or two. If it turns out he didn't do anything (other than stall the process while he tried to figure out what to do), all those lauding his decision making in this instance will look pretty silly.
Willing to use decisive force? All he did was not screw up what are normal ROE for those sort of situations, so I guess we can be glad for that, even though it took a few days and 2 legal documents to cover himself before the shots were fired.
So this is the "test" that Biden predicted eh? It's the only thing that's come up to "test" him on foreign policy since he's been President? I seem to recall something about North Korean rockets, Iranian reactors, American reporters being taken hostage (in the two aforementioned countries no less) recently, NATO turning down requests for more combat troops, Pakistan turning the Swat Valley over to the Taliban and Sharia, and that's just off the top of my head. Boy am I ever glad those weren't foreign policy "tests" because otherwise he'd be looking at a pretty bad grade right now.
Young kids are fearless, that's why they make the best soldiers, and killer's. Better our kid's killed theirs, than vise-versa.
ahhh….an MSNBC troll. You drop your talking points on the way over from the studio? Just give crissy a call and have her send you over a new set. Read them carefully, now. We don't want to have to correct your own drivel. Being a master speller, I'm sure we won't have to check for that. Hurry! Mom"s got dinner on and the porch light will be on soon. She called earlier and said she cleaned up your bedroom downstairs.
Now, now Goo Dad. I'm sure Eddie remembers yesterday.
Now, now Goo Dad. I'm sure Eddie remembers yesterday.
You watch the same cheezy action movies other people do?
I would be more than happy to introduce you to members of our badass military. As far as the mechanics of employing a shoulder fired weapon, anyone over the age of 9 or 10 can become quite proficient at it and thus constitues a completely legitimate target. I think your bus is out front. Yeah, the short yellow one. Toodles…..
He gets a B- for lateness. Dawdling is bad, m'kay?
*MissQuinn*
To be completely fair, I have to give the administration credit for giving the on-site commander the latitude to use his discretion. Having observed politiicans over time, I could just hear the blame and finger pointing had that Captain been killed. They would have hung him out to dry. However, credit where credit is due.
Careful Dom, do a bit of research first. We knuckledragging Jarheads tend to take our history seriously and know it quite well. Yes, that's part of the Hymm. Yes we did serve in the fights against the Barbary Pirates. My beloved Mother Green was authorized by the Continental Congress and formed in 1775, for the purpose of shipboard defense of our fledgling Navy, that was having "serious disagreements" with the British. Semper Fi, Dom. Take care.
Especially an AK, they're so simple a caveman (or Soviet conscript, which is pretty much the same thing) could use it.
The thing the media (and a lot of liberals in general) needs to remember is that as soon as someone picks up a weapon in a combat zone, they are no longer a "civilian" they're now a "combatant" and indeed, a completely legitimate target.
10 years ago, neither did I. The Congressional Democrats and the myopic media treatment of Bush changed all that. I have stated on this thread and on other boards, that credit should be given to the administration, where due. I just find it very funny how easily some forget how shameful their treatment of Bush was while they howl about the treatment afforded Dear Leader. I hope no one is waiting for me to sing praises to the Obamaprompter, bring a lunch, as you will be waiting a while.
A submarine, and I'm not going to be baited into discussing your choice of sandwich condiments.
Thank God that this country still has hard men ready to do violence on behalf of the fat, dumb and happy citizenry. They aren't always pretty and you may not feel comfortable inviting them to dinner but, they are beautiful SOB's when dark clouds appear and even Lassie isn't around to save Timmy.
Hold on, just a bit, before you start carving his likeness on Rushmore.
What did he use, space weapon tech? Of course that was a major reason for his campaign, so he could play with (and break) all of Bush's shiny toys.
Poor Barry, he had such an impoverished childhood, all the Republican kids had death ray laser guns and wouldn't even let little Barry see them, but Barry knew they had them! Those Republicans are evil!
I'm sorry, but I can't applaud bad marksmanship.
It really pretty easy, Bev. When you get into the sword fight with the leader dude, you gotta lay into the joystick and go after him, when his health goes down, his crew will………ohh, ohh you mean a long time ago? Cannons and muskets and all that rot? Bloody mess that.
I'm pretty sure "lock and load" was in Aliens. He might have come across it during his diligent research on immigration.
