Greg your the man, but Im gonna have to disagree with you surprisingly…most of those bands are very very openingly liberal…especially Green Day who has performed at an NRDC convention, and Springsteen is very very liberal along with Mellancamp, and dont forget Heart was outraged when Sarah Palin came out to Barracuda…

No other condemnation of the GOP need be given. The very nature of conservative ideology (protectionism and fear) works against the very concepts that brought us the most iconic and amazing rock n roll: experimentation and diversity of ideas.

Republicans are forever condemned to buying cd’s in the bargain boxes, and tapping their toes to elevator musak, where you still get the pretty melodies, without all of that evil hollerin’ and shoutin.’ Face it Greg, this was a desperate attempt at humor to mask the bitterness and isolation you feel at how far your party (and you network?) are falling behind the rest of the nation.

We’ll welcome you back when you wake up. America is a Big Tent nation, after all.
