All-American Girl
by Gary GrahamAll right, it’s a press conference about a beauty contest. It’s not a world summit – it’s a beauty contest! Should it really garner this sort of press coverage, this sort of media scrutiny, this sort of public attention?
Well, yeah. It should.
Aside from affording us a chance to gaze for long moments at a dazzling woman, the runner-up to the Miss U.S.A beauty contest, Miss California, Carrie Prejean; there actually was great import revealed at this morning’s Trump Trump, Donald Trump, The Donald, Trump-Trump-Ta-Trump news conference. (I’m not sure I mentioned that it was a DONALD TRUMP news conference?)
Don’t get me wrong, I love Trump. For years I’ve been a fan. Read the Art of the Deal, and he was instantly my hero. Aggressive, independent rogue businessman with the vision and courage to think big. No, not just big, MEGA-big. And a total egoist. I loved that about him as well. The balls on that guy. Putting his name all over everything he touched, in huge, bold letters, TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP. What a stamp. The name even sounds like ‘stamp’. So it’s TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP!
Then there’s the hair. I never could really understand what that was all about, still don’t, but I don’t give a rat’s ass how he likes to wear it, so what if it looks like it was once alive, who cares. I just admired how the man dreamed big, put money into play and built things. Really, really big things.
Then…he got into such huge debt, he owed so much to so many that none of the banks to whom he owed money could afford to let him go under. He became (all right Lee Iacocca started the ball rolling with his Chrysler bailout, but really it was Trump who lifted it to an art form) the poster boy for the “too big to fail” concept. At the time, mid-nineties, it just seemed so…American.
Jump forward a decade and a half…and Trump is now a TV star. “You’re fired!” is a household word, a punchline at the office, (well maybe not at the office, but certainly everywhere else) and Donald trump has teamed with Australian megaproducer Mark Burnett to be one of the most successful reality-TV hosts/stars/producers in the biz. Things keep going like this and in another twenty years he may be out of debt! But don’t count on it. Trump likes to run at a deficit. Too Big To Fail suits him. If your name gets big enough, and if you are indebted to enough people, you can write your own ticket. Whatever you want, just name it, it’s yours. What, they’re going to say no? To you?? HA!! Don’t they know who you are? You’re Too Big To Fail!
But I digress.
Side note: With all the media attention and glowing, adoring press coverage…we now have a President who is Too Big To Fail. And no matter how much deeper he plunges this nation into debt, no matter how much his ‘progressive’ policies mire our economy with make work jobs, debilitating regulation, and punitive taxation…the Mainstream Media will prop him up, give him a pass, redirect the blame, exonerate him from any culpability, and frame the man as beyond fault or defect. He will be held as pristine, he will be lifted up and placed on a marble pedestal and the world will see him as Immaculate. He is Too Big To Fail.
But I double-digress.
Back to Miss California! Carrie Prejean, the runner-up in the Miss USA contest may have lost her title today. The Miss USA Beauty Pageant was pressured to strip her of her Miss California USA title for one reason and one reason only. She was not Politically Correct.
Carrie Prejean, when asked by snarky no-talent gay firebrand Perez Hilton what she thought of Gay Marriage, actually gave her honest, heartfelt belief that marriage was for one man and one woman. One would have thought she had endorsed cutting up little children and barbecuing them over a slow flame. The MSM and entertainment news have come out to universally excoriate her in hateful tones reminiscent of Genghis Kahn (and John Kerry) and have absolutely lost their minds in rabid media hysteria. You would almost have thought that her very gracious and semi-apologetic answer that night had instead been a vehement diatribe ascribing all gay people as perverts and aberrant, twisted fruits. No, she indicated nothing of the sort. She was a lady. She apologized in advance if anyone was offended; and then simply stated her own personal view – a view shared by none other than our newly elected President, one Barack Hussein Obama.
Miss Prejean will retain her beauty contest title. But more importantly, she will retain her image as role model to millions of impressionable young girls. She speaks of honor, strength, faith, respect, civility. You know – all the things the Left hates.
Carrie thanked everyone for being there, the pageant, Mr. Trump, and in an emotional moment, her parents…and lastly…God. Oh yeah – she thanked God.
Now the Left will reeaally let her have it.
Here is an excerpt from Miss Prejean statements today:
“Three weeks ago I was given a politically-charged question with a hidden personal agenda. I answered my question honestly and sincerely from my heart. I was very careful to articulate in saying that I did not want to offend anybody, and that this is how I was raised and that this is what I believe a marriage should be; between one man and one woman. I was given a question, asking for my opinion and I stated my honest belief. Not only do I hold this belief, but as Mr. Trump said, the President of the United States, the Secretary of State and many Americans agree with me in this belief. Immediately after the pageant, Judge #8 [Perez Hilton] began a cultural firestorm in the media. It went national as he was trying to be self-promoting and hateful.
“While I have remained silent since, I am honored to be here today to finally let my voice be heard and address the hateful attacks, despicable rumors and false allegations I have had [leveled at me] within the last three weeks. To be standing here today on behalf of the great state of California and the greatest country in the world, is by the grace of God. Being in the middle of a media firestorm is not something that I had planned or signed up for. But the days since have taught me to stand up for what you believe in, regardless of the consequences, personal attacks or disagreements.
“I am a strong woman. And because of that I am able to move forward and be the best Miss California, USA, that I can be. I am excited to fulfill my duties and continue serving the great state of California. Let me be clear: I am not an activist or anything, nor do I have a personal agenda. I was thrown into this firestorm from the time I was first asked the question onstage. I have become an advocate for the importance of not redefining marriage, based upon my own upbringing and beliefs. While I am not the most vocal proponent of traditional marriage, it appears from my singular response, I am the most visible. I am proud to be an American. I am proud of the freedoms we enjoy because of the brave men and women serving this great country and who have served. My grandfather served under General Patton during WWII and is someone I admire greatly. He never spoke about the Battle of the Bulge that he participated in as a rifleman, or the honorary medals he earned because of his bravery. But he did speak about the freedoms he fought for and he taught me to never back down and to never let anyone take those freedoms away from you. On April 19th, on that stage, I exercised my freedom of speech. And I was punished for doing so. This should not happen in America. It undermines the Constitutional rights for which my grandfather fought for.” [sic]
Miss Prejean then went on to recount how a photographer whom she had formerly trusted had released candid shots taken at a photo shoot, that were not meant for publication, and taken unbeknownst to her, when the wind was whipping around her clothes.
WHAT??!! A photographer sells gotcha photos to the tabloids for profit! In L.A.?? That is unheard of!! (I know – young, beautiful, just starting out…and taken advantage of. Almost never happens, right?)
The lovely, if naïve, Miss Prejean continued:
“I am excited to continue my duty as Miss California, USA. All I want to be able to do is to tell my story, which no one can take away from me. Not everyone may like me or agree with me…but I hope at the end of the day, everyone can respect my rights, as I respect theirs; and together we can bring back civility in our social and cultural discussions. I am convinced, now more than ever, of the importance for standing up for your beliefs and convictions. For everyone out there listening – do not be silenced. Take this story of mine and apply it to your own life. I hope I’ve inspired others to maintain compassion, civility, respect, and tolerance – while staying true to your convictions…and to never, ever, compromise your beliefs in the pursuit [of your] goals, regardless of the consequences.
“I want to share this message. I am a representative of my generation. Young adults and teenagers are greatly impacted by both media and culture. And I want to encourage them to maintain their integrity and not concede their values because of what they see or hear going on around them. It is this message that I will incorporate to my Miss California, USA duties. As the pageant has embraced my message of recognizing and respecting diversity, think about how much better our society would be if we would just agree to disagree, and show respect.”
Wow. I don’t think I was the only one dazzled by how sincere, honest, credible and absolutely beautiful this young woman is. The noteworthy thing about Carrie Prejean is that her beauty has great depth to it — because it emanates from her convictions.
Carrie Prejean then graciously wrapped up, and both she and Trump fielded questions, and I think, did very well, the both of them. (And I gotta say – I had prepared, in anticipation of Ms. Prejean getting dumped from the sheer gravitational pull of political correctness, an essay entitled “NO BALLS TRUMP”. But I had prejudged the man (to my shame) and completely misjudged him. Cynically expecting him to bend to the PC wind of the times, I was proud to see that he stood strong against the loonies screaming for her head on a platter; and, though he danced the diplomatic two-step once or twice, still emerged as a man of honor. Props to you, Mr. Trump.)
But what was Carrie Prejean’s sin in the first place? This young woman dared to voice her heart on national TV. For this she was excoriated in the press, in leftist special interest groups, i.e., lefty gays, and her reputation was dragged through the mud.
She was ‘PALINed’.
Now, to believe in God and not be Mother Theresa is to be the poster girl for hypocrisy. The ACLU rings the bell and the liberal trolls crawl out from under the bridge to light the fires of hatred and join hands with their fellow miscreants to dance their tribal celebration of everything nasty and debasing and hateful.
You don’t have to be on drugs to be a Lefty…but it helps.
Miss Prejean should be extremely proud of her convictions and values, her parental upbringing, and for giving this nation a well-needed moral shot in the arm. I’ve got a 16-year-old daughter, and I wince at the daily barrage of debasing media and counter-culture influences. Teenage girls are woefully in need of good role models. It’s nice to see an All-American Girl emerge through the silt and smoke and pollution that is our pop culture today.
Carrie Prejean is a breath of fresh air.

I think Carrie Prejean is even better looking when she's not dolled up as a beauty contestant. She is a natural beauty and more importantly, she is beautiful on the inside. Unlike the nasty shallow critics who slam her for giving an honest answer (and the right answer).
Can we call Perez the b-word now??? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!
===All right, it’s a press conference about a beauty contest.===
I just heard her comments, she was fantastic. I would replace Michael Steele with her; she should be running the RNC. One things for sure, she at least has the courage of her convictions unlike the eunuchs and sellouts we have leading our party.
Ms Prejean, while triumphant, is not the big winner today- no, it is Mr Publicity himself- Donald Trump.
Trump managed to milk everything there was out of this (no criticism- good for him) and the press conference today was a masterful manipulation of a clueless media.
Carrie is a stunner, and will have a bright future. We do feel kind of sorry for- who was it?- Miss South Carolina?
Do you know who The Winner was? She is the trivia contest answer of the future…
I also have a seventeen year old daughter, and it is good to see this young lady defeat the sleazy leftist horde. Not by anything but the courage of her convictions, and faith, cool! A role model indeed for young girls, bravo!
Heard her speech and it was great. A good reminder that she has every right to say what she says and no reason to slam her the way they did. You would have thought she said gay marriage was the devil's work. She just gave a heart felt answer and was mocked by fools who scream for tolerance. We just have to hope Obama doesnt sign exec order to overturn Trump's decision. Would have sounded far fetched 12 months ago, not any more.
Yeah, Kudos to Trump. He had an idiotic position on the war, but everywhere else he ofter pushes conservative values in the media. Now every pop culture watcher out there is reminded that Obama has the same position as Prejean and the majority of America. Great job, it's these kind of traps we can get liberals into again and again over the next several years. I think the gossip monger who started this (I won't mention his name) actually hurt himself with this one.
Gary you left out the best part: Trump prominently mentioned that Ms Prejean's belief about marriage being between one man and one woman…is shared by Barak Obama!
This little known fact (thank you MSM) will now be known by more…hopefully some of The One's followers will be even more disillusioned with him.
She is indeed stunning and I got to say I respect the hell out of her. It makes me so happy to see someone not break in the PC wind and I have to imagine, and indeed hope, she will inspire others. Also I have to send kudos to her parents, whatever it is you did you did an amazing job.
Trump has always annoyed me, but I'm with you, Gary, the Donald came through on this one.
The interesting experiment today will be to see if the press picks up this "same as Obama" aspect. So far Yahoo! and Google news are downplaying this story with the Obama part being buried in the stories. Let's see what happens with the other sources.
Couldn't help myself as I posted this earlier @ Robert J. Avrech's article. What the hell, once is good, twice is nice…
With *one sentence* Donald Trump scored a major victory over the Thought Police today…
“It's the same answer that the president of the United States gave” In reference to Miss California, Carrie Prejean and her response to the question asked of her @ the Miss USA pageant. Bravo!
Game. Set. Match.
Now, if we can only get Mario Armando Narcissisto and his partner in slime @ MSNBC David Shuster to STFU, I'll be a happy man.
Political Correctness = Death
See? Free speech isn't just for Liberals anymore. Carrie handled herself well, and I don't doubt that she has a long career ahead of her doing whatever she wished to do. Perez Hilton, OTOH, should be happy that Garriage is NOT permitted in all states, as he still has an excuse to tell himself as to why he's unmarried.
"…simply stated her own personal view – a view shared by none other than our newly elected President, one Barack Hussein Obama." — G. Graham, (see above)
"Not only do I hold this belief, but as Mr. Trump said, the President of the United States, the Secretary of State and many Americans agree with me in this belief." — G. Graham, quoting C. Prejean (see above)
Not to kick ya in the kisser, Wes, but you gotta pay closer attention! ha ha
Thanks Gary. I look at and listen to Carrie Prejean and I see America's daughter. She is truly as beautiful as my beloved Country. Our founding fathers would be very proud to know her.
Also, Donald Trump is imperfect but also stands up for what he believes in and that is Entrepreneurial Capitalism!
Both share a strength of beliefs and ethics. Obama, not so much.
A very nice post Gary. I'm not as big a fan of Trump as you, but understand your reasoning. I think Carrie will end up being rewarded far more for having had this experience than if it had never happened. I salute all who stand up for their beliefs
Great article, Carrie, is a woman of faith, a role model for young women of courage and poise- thank you Mr Trump for standing up for what is right and for giving Carrie a platform to express her views today

Carrie Prejean for VP.
This Gal is only 21 and can stand strong with the best of them. I cannot wait until she turns 35 and maybe she will be able to kick Barack out of office in 14 years and be President.
The problem is that anybody who isn't a eunuch or a sellout has, by definition, too much class and moral rectitude to get into politics.
She's very pretty, though I could do without the Jiffy Boobs™. And let's not get carried away and start running her for high office, ok? Well, if Obama is still in office in 14 years, it won't matter anyway. Run her then.
In the meantime, she's a nice pretty girl with the courage it takes to stand up for herself and what she believes. I like that, but enough with the idol worshipping. That's what liberals do.
Yea Gary ! I have a 12 and a 21 yr old daughter and the 21 yr old is working for the Republican Party, so there's hope. The 12 yr old drives her teacher crazy and still wears her Palin sweatshirt to school or the Reagan t-shirt, so there's more hope.
We've been through the Bratz dolls, the deluge of sleaze that pours out of the tv, and god knows has popped up on their computer screens. I am very proud of four women today: a wife, two daughters, and Miss California. She's is the biggest asset in a bankrupt state. As for Perez Hilton, I think he sprung from that pool of sleaze that pours from the tv and laptop, like primordial slime. In a life without values, morals, or direction , this poor kid actually believes that all exposure is good. I bet he and TMZ suffer the same fate as tools of the people trying to turn our children into a morally bereft society that mirrors the inner void. Kinsey, Sanger, and the rest of them were seriously screwed up people and their teachings kicked this kind of stuff off.
The more the left tries to censor this young lady the more her stature grows. There was a famous cartoon of Nelson Mandela as a giant shadow in his little cell in South Africa, the more they try to render her irrelevant the more relevant she becomes.
I like Jiffy Boobs! Are they like "dirty pillows"?
What I'd like to know is how the MSM justifies going after Prejean on such a non-essential issue only to give Nancy Pelosi a free pass when it was proven she lied about being briefed on waterboarding?
Many years from now, centuries (possibly millenia), when the Prajean/Hilton kerfuffle is a small footnote in a long buried People magazine, the Trump Towers are crumbling to dust, and Joan Rivers is one week away from her final face lift, one thing triumphantly will live on, and that will be the secret to The Donald's greatest contribution to modern man, the forward reverse flip combover.
It was a beauty contest. She is quite beautiful.
Next question?
Be greatful. If they cover the story, they will have Pelosi's image on screen. That is a crime against humanity. Or, if you prefer, a way to get future terrorists to spill. Simply make them stare at her.
Pure torture.
Jake, for the most part that's unfortunately true.
Good call Trump. I vow not to make any wig jokes for one week.
Bravo Mr. Graham.
And, more importantly, Bravo Miss California !!
An honest answer is never wrong.
Where is that cartoon please ?
What a beautiful woman! And she has guts. To you libs this is real guts. Not like some courageous stars who stand up on a stage at the Oscars or Grammy's and spout liberal talking points to other liberals. She has been in the belly of the beast and she isn't backing down. Good for her. Did I say she's a beauty?
One question: If Miss Prejean is a Christian, why did she agree to be photographed topless? That is not the usual behavior of Christians.
Trump did the right thing and stood by her.
However, he let it go on for too long. Hilton was an employee of his during this event, and he has worked for Trump on other things. It was Trump's duty to disassociate himself from Hilton and to back up Ms Prejean the minute Hilton made his tasteless statements. She was left to twist in the wind too long, while the vultures circled and the MSM attacked her.
She was awesome today and I am wondering how much of this was Trump looking for PR or him seeing how stupid this all was. I saw him interviewed and he sounded doubtful about Carrie being able to keep her crown. Now today he comes out all full of awesomeness. OK…..what happened? I think he saw this going on and realized how bad it was and how mean spirited it was so he did what he had to. My opinion of Donald Trump went up about a billion.
I don't feel that this is idol worshipping to give a beautiful young woman who stood up to pop culture and stayed true to herself the credibility she deserves. It should give all of us hope and a renewed faith in our youth. We cannot give up on them. She reminded me of one of maybe twenty memorable lines in movies that I have never forgotten because of their truth. In 1987's "Moonstruck", Rose Castorini who was played brilliantly by Olympia Dukakis, told John Mahoney's character Perry (a single shallow professor) that she could not invite him in. When he asked if it was because there were other people in the house she responded, "no, I can't invite you in because I know who I am." Now that line should be the mantra for all of us. If only.
"the forward reverse flip combover"
HAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
Classic, my friend.
Karen,
First of all, she wasn't topless, she was covering herself up and wearing panties.
While many Christians and non-Christians would not pose for topless or nude pictures, there is certainly nothing against it in the bible, right? Being an underwear model or bathing suit model does not really constitute un-Christian behavior–I mean, it's not porn and in no way degrading to women. I would never pose in my underwear, but not because it wouldn't be Christian, it would be because I'd be embarrassed about looking like crap.
What the libs are trying to do here is box Christians so they can shout "Hypocrite!" every time a Christian does something Mother Teresa wouldn't do. Being a Christian does not mean that you have to be a nun!
Unfortunately I haven't seen the pics but apparently the pic you're referring to is her topless with her arms covering her breasts and her back to the camera. Maybe you should get to know Christians, which are the people you come across daily, instead of relying on caricatures from the bigoted media smear merchants.
But let’s get real, liberal degenerates find every form of deviancy and perversion to be acceptable. There’s nothing low enough for a liberal degenerate. To criticize a Conservative woman over some very sexy [not pornographic by any means] photos is the height of ridiculousness. And another reason why no one should take these backward vermin seriously on any issue.
"He never spoke about the Battle of the Bulge that he participated in as a rifleman, or the honorary medals he earned because of his bravery. But he did speak about the freedoms he fought for and he taught me to never back down and to never let anyone take those freedoms away from you."
The MSM has just been punked! Let's all cry our crocodile tears for the losers at CNN and MNLSD….

The only downside is this….
Thanks to Miss Prejean I have to know admit there is at least one thing to admire of California! This is a tough thing for us East Coast Floridian Cali Haters to have to come to terms with. Let me tell, you …….
She comes form there so there must still be some hope for the State of the Lost Angels.
Yes he never should have asked that question if he did not want the truth. He expects a pertson to go against their core values??? That is wrong. Straight up.

Aaagh! Mother Teresa posing topless. My eyes!! My eyes!!
Thanks for that mental picture–I now have to rinse my mind with Listerine.
"He never spoke about the Battle of the Bulge that he participated in as a rifleman, or the honorary medals he earned because of his bravery. But he did speak about the freedoms he fought for and he taught me to never back down and to never let anyone take those freedoms away from you."
And Carrie is reminding Christians that (1) we will be attacked for our beliefs, and (2) we should have just as much back-bone as she has had when we are attacked.
Perez Hilton asked Carrie Prejean for her opinion, and she dared to give it. Then he acted shocked and outraged, like Mr. Bumble when Oliver Twist asked for more gruel. Hey, Perez, here's a wild idea: if you don't want a person's opinion, don't ask for it!
You've got to admit Pelosi has a great poker face. Oh wait. That's the botox.
She addresses this in the press conference. She was 17, starting a modeling career, and they were for her portfolio. She was topless, but 'covered'. Also, some fakes have been photo-shopped. Lastly, there appears to be 1 picture just released that she addressed. Apparently, during a professional shoot, she was being photographed outdoors, not topless, but with a shirt open. It wasn't suppose to be a 'topless' photo, but a wind came, blew open the shirt and the photographer got a picture. Now this professional photographer released that photo and she expressed her dismay at that, since she wasn't 'doing' a topless photo.
I saw the press conference and Carrie showed her dignity and courage. Kudos to her.
There's one very unfortunate part, though. She was asked if she thought she lost because of her answer. She said she couldn't be sure, but 1 judge had a personal agenda. Trump interjected that judge 8 (Hilton) gave her very low scores.
Now the problem is this. In the future, any contestant that is asked a politically charged question may very well (if they want to win, which they all do) not answer honestly, but give the PC answer. In other words, they will be silenced by political correctness.
She destroyed the gay brownshirts. It was epic TV.
And no, Madelyn, I think just the opposite will happen. Prejean blazed a path and has been enormously rewarded by becoming an instant household name. What's the old truism of Hollywood – that you can't even get arrested in this town? She will embolden future contestants to say something controversial.
I LOVE this.
I am LITERALLY in love with this chick. She's amazing. I want to opposite-marry her – in Utah, so I can have a second one for purposes of intelligent conversation – so I can bring her out at parties and have her sound-out multisyllabic words or offer snap opinions on complex political issues. Y'know, like the people who have a Terrier they SWEAR can bark the National Anthem?
In all seriousness… really? This is new icon, now? And did she REALLY get all teary-eyed and compare her coming in second in a beauty contest to her Grandfather having to fight in WORLD WAR II? That really happened? And the same "conservatives" who spend huge amounts of bandwith railing against "celebutards" are just lappin' it up? Guys, there's desperate and there's SAD….
(continued)
(continued)
…I mean, I'm watching "Conservatives" act like me and my geeky friends when a nominally-attractive woman walks into the comic store (or the convention, or whatever)… "OMG!! A girl!!?? Who's into our kinda stuff!!!!???" and suddenly we're ready to bow down like she's the chick from "She."
Have some DIGNITY, fellas. And maybe some foresight – you KNOW she's just gonna dissapoint you, right? You know that the next innevitable step here is that something even MORE incongruous with her role as the Christian Right's new Virgin Queen than those "accidental" nudes (cuz y'know, when someone is unknowingly photographed nude they're VERY often looking dead-on at the camera in "model-face." Sure.) is waiting to hit, yes? (Please, oh please, gods of Irony, let it be some gal/gal stuff… I've been ever so good this year…)
Uh, Gary, if you ever hope to work for Mark Burnett, change that "Australian" to "British." He was even in the British Special Forces as a paratrooper.
Kudos to you, Bob. You're completely missing the point. She is emblematic of soft-spoken conservatives getting hammered by the thought police of liberal fascism. Whether it's pies thrown at Ann Coulter's face, or storming the stage and shouting down the Minutemen or David Horowitz on college campuses, or vile ad hominem attacks of Carrie Prejean — there is absolutely no tolerance on the Left for diversity of thought.
But didn't he partially un-do the good part by welcoming dirtbag Hilton back?
God, I hope they're not talking about the other Obama being President in 14 years.
"One question: If Miss Prejean is a Christian, why did she agree to be photographed topless? That is not the usual behavior of Christians."
One question: why did you come to this website and post a question with a false premise?
Hey MovieBob is pretty smart. Based on one question at a beauty pageant and one press conference that he didn't even watch, he was able to ascertain that Ms. Prejean is not smart enough to have an intelligent conversation with him.
It must be all those comic books he reads…
These photos are allegedly underage and criminally prosecutable.
Release of unauthorized compromising photos should be called Sexual Assault,
same as if you forced their pants down in a crowd against their will.
Such has already been perpetrated adequately, by The TMZ types, prior to informed compounding.
The semi-censoring establishes prior knowlege of the personal liability.
They have eagerly provided a case of "flaming willfull maliciousness" in their own comments.
Prosecution needn't even work. And often does regardless.
Lawyers as well as sleazesites love this stuff to promote themselves.
Sexual abusers are their favorite in da house.
Any entity who does so deserves, again and again and again :
o Internet Death Penalty shunning
o Seizure of involved assets, ie. computers, websites, revenues
o Registration as a Sex Offender
o "Mollester" scandal on the national tabloid curcuit
o Criminal prosecution on multiple smirking mollesting counts
Spread the word for her before it goes further,
especially to the perpetrator, TMZ aka The Mollester Zone?? http://www.tmz.com/tips

Carrie's press conference was impressive. She fielded tougher questions from the press than Obama. I will follow her career. She is as intelligent as she is beautiful. Very tough but very endearingly tender, she is Miss California!
Trump was scum on the latest Celebrity Apprentice. He allowed Rivers to do weekly character assasination on her rival, Annie the professional poker player.
Bob it’s really quite simple! She stood up to the nasty leftist horde, and won.
I thought that the most interesting statement from Trump's press conference was when he said that Carrie Prejean's views about gay marriage were the same as President Obama's. Strange why that clip of the conference never got played on the major news stations. Not. And, thanks to Perez Hilton, Carrie Prejean's career has now gotten bigger than she ever imagined.

[...] Big Hollywood: Gary Graham on Carrie Prejean: [...]
Another excellent post Gary. Thank you for re-printing a fuller context of her statement – an illustration of civil grace under pressure delivered by this remarkable young woman. To see the sleze pour out from the David Schusters and various MSNBC & CNN pinheads in full attack mode in contrast to the genuine strain worn on her face when facing the firestorm just further exhibits how low journalism has fallen.
John the Libertarian is spot on. The sneer factor has completely trumped the hard work of signifigant investigative reporting regarding important issues the country faces, choosing instead to deliberately assist Trump in a contrived publicity stunt with massive coverage.
I don't have a clue about who is holding the Fed or Treasury accountable for their actions. Or what is happening to contract law in this country under Obama maina run amuck. But I do know Carrie got a Miss USA boob job – along with a before (naked) and after (clothed) shot via an unethical photographer. One small step for democracy, one giant leap for Beauty Contests – or two steps backward into the liberal muck of irrelevancy?
Enjoyed your post. The bit about the trolls lighting fires is hilarious. For all the angst about "hate speech" those willing to legislate against it are the most proficient at it.
Carrie didn't make the comparison you assert. She cited her Grandfather's efforts at preserving our freedoms as a source of strength when her free speech rights were under assault.
I'm sorry – Perez who?
Interestingly I have not been discussing this issue with my two teenage daughters. (I do talk about politics and my lack of regard for Obamaism. But not so much about the cultural stuff.) And yet they have brought it up with me. "Dad! Did you hear? Miss California gets to keep her…"
Mr. Graham, I think you may have been one of the few who were "dazzled" by her honesty. Sincere, credible and beautiful? Yes, maybe and hell yeah. But honest? Not so much. That was the problem, remember? Not what she said about gay marriage, but that she lied about the photos.
Of course, she shares your views, so you feel bound to defend her and attack "the left" in general. I'm a "lefty" and I'm fine with her not agreeing with me on gay marriage. I respect that she stood up for her beliefs (and I agree that Perez Hilton is talentless and shouldn't have asked that question), but if she violated her contract then she shouldn't keep the crown.
Oh, and if you're worried about your 16-year-old daughter being exposed to debasing media influences, you could do better than looking to Miss Prejean and her fake breasts and semi-nude poses for a good role model.
Dude, this dumb bimbo ISN'T EVEN MISS USA. Why aren't we hearing from her?
Just another step in the march towards criminalizing 'incorrect thought'. What's next, re-education camps? They already have sensitivity training, don't they?
Great piece, Gary as usual.
Yep the left-wing fanatics are licking their wounds right now. Integrity, honor and moral conviction won this round handily. We need more strong people like this beautiful young lady leading the conservative movement (are you listening Republican politicians?).
She is definitely a role model for young girls…after seeing tarts like Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, et. al. prance around all these years it's refreshing to see a young lady that has a brain and is well spoken and strong.
Amen, the deal with the devil they made in getting Obama elected will be a weapon we can use against them each and every time.
Definitely a role model. Christian girls, get those boob implants and model topless, just like Jesus would.

Yep …
As the saying goes…"Judge not lest ye be judged."
While I wouldn't condone getting a boob job to anyone ( to fake and plasticky for me) the decision is hers alone. (After all, aren't libs all about choice?) I think beauty pageants are silly in general but if this is something she wants to do so be it.
Even Jesus took in and accepted the wayward prostitute…he didn't expect us to be perfect, he expected us to treat one another as we would want to be treated. Maybe if you actually knew something about what the bible professes you would understand that God wants people to go forth and proclaim the Gospel and praise his name. Something I think Miss Prejean has done admirably. You have to admit a large number of Americans that don't go to church have certainly heard her message and are thinking/talking about it.
God does indeed work in mysterious ways.
Roland, nobody's denying that it's her choice whether she wants to get implants, but I think Shah's point is that Mr. Graham is holding up Miss Prejean as a positive role model for his young daughter in the same breath that he bemoans the "debasing media" influences which this ludicrous standard of beauty is perpetuating.
You have to be kidding. One, I thought this was about her pics, NOT the tired 'man and woman' thing. And let me tell you, anyone who believes she didn't pose for those, or didn't know her breasts were on view, clearly has no nipples, or is a Republican.
If you Christians and Republicans think that the best role model for your kids is watching a fellow narrow minded idiot who thinks California is a country hang her boobs out on the Internet, it's no wonder you thought Palin had family values in hand. Carrie Prejean shows a sad inability to tell the difference between being a Christian and being a model. Because I don't know about you, but I don't know any Christians who threw their religion aside to be in OBVIOUSLY posed half-nude pics.
She can either claim to be a naive 17 year old, a put upon Christian, or a beauty queen who doesn't know how to properly answer a loaded question. But she can't be all, and apparently, she cant be that smart either. No biggie. She clearly doesn't have to go far to impress Republicans and Christians as they join hands to follow Cheney to hell.
Really! Ann Coulter is soft-spoken! Dick Cheney's a teddy-bear!
Get a life. I only see intolerance on Fox. And yes, I do watch it. How else am I supposed to know what narrow-minded fools like you are thinking.
While I admire Trump for standing up for her and not bowing to the PC pressure, I also believe that his decision was not difficult to guess. Carrie Prejean remaining Miss California only means that he and his 'pageant-business' will stay in the limelight and get an incredible amount of free press.
Anyone think next year's Miss America ratings might go up just a little bit?
I think Keith Olbermann nailed it.

There is no way a wind was whipping around her clothes. And no way she was unaware these photos were being taken! That is one of the most absurd things I have heard from a model. It is also a flat lie. She is looking right at the camera posed perfectly. And her hair is not blowing in this supposed wind. I hate when models take their clothes off, get in front of the lights, pose and then pretend like they were taken advantage of.
Freedom of speech has nothing to do with a beauty pageant. The reason is because she is an employee of USA Inc or whoever runs the show. The pageant people have the right to take away anything they want. When her grandfather fought for our freedoms is was for the freedom from the government from taking away our free speech. Not our employer – who can take it any time. Try freedom of speech at work some day. Say the wrong thing and you will be fired.
The bottom line is this is not about free speech. The gay marriage thing she said was merely the tip of the iceberg. She broke the rules of her employer regarding nude photos. Frankly, I don't personally care if she did nude shots but her employer does. And so she was threatened with the loss of her title because of that just as much as about her gay marriage views. [BTW as mentioned before I don't oppose her right to her view. But her employer has the right - i.e. their own freedom of speech to fire her if they so choose.]
The woman is a fraud inside and out. As is this whole episode.
However she didn't actually get fired so what the heck is this all about?
Nothing but a political game for all of us.
"Well since she put me down I've been out doin in my head.
Come in late at night and in the mornin' I just lay in bed.
Well, Rhonda you look so fine (look so fine),
And I know it wouldnt take much time
For you to help me, Rhonda
Help me get her out of my heart."
Now, now, Rhonda, put down the knife and re-read the sentence I wrote. I said Carrie Prejean is soft-spoken, not Ann Coulter. Also, I should probably point out that when you use a superlative such as the word "only", you demonstrate a judgment process that tends toward over-generalization, which, of course, is a symptom of a bigoted mind. You might want to explore that a bit further before it gets you in trouble.
And yes, I am a fool, and proudly so.
Does anyone see a resemblance to Marla Maples ?
D'oh!
As The Donald would say, "Wes, you're fired!"
Great kid indeed! There is hope for the future?
Bob my God Man! If your leftist team mate Perez Hilton hadn’t played gotcha she would have evaporated. The good news is she had more guts than the worthless leftist attacking her, and she won. Good kid.
"But more importantly, she will retain her image as role model to millions of impressionable young girls. She speaks of honor, strength, faith, respect, civility. You know – all the things the Left hates"
By citing biblical fairy tales to prove gays are not entitled to the same rights she has. All for for a low-paying PR job that lasts one year. Oh yeah, that'll empower the little ones.
"In other words, they will be silenced by political correctness. "
Madelyn — Who cares? It's a beauty contest. Let them be silenced, if they choose to be. Let them give the 'politically correct' answer, if they choose to. Let expediency matter more than integrity to them. Let them win the beauty contest. And people may remember their name. Or not. Does anyone know the name of the young lady who actually did win Miss USA? Was she from… North Carolina? South Caronlina? Anyone?
Carrie Prejean won the BACKBONE contest. And now she is a household name. Backbone rocks!
Yeah, I get that… except she didn't stand up to anyone. Her "answer" at the pageant-proper was waffly and half thought out, and her response to losing was to stamp her foot and pout about how it's not fair because, basically, "the teacher HATES me!!!!" like a six year-old who doesn't get to sit where she wants in class. She further "stood up" by more or less abandoning the Miss California post she'd already won and still held by A.) joining a political organization in violation of the title's conditions and B.) blowing off her scheduled duties as such.
You wanna thank someone for your "win" here? Thank TRUMP for deciding beating this drum makes for a better show for the time being.
Of course they are going to go up. Trump said he would love to have Hilton back. If Hilton is a judge, then I definitely would NOT watch it. The guy has no class.
This is a respose to Bob thats on ID soon to appear? No Bob, she stood up to the leftist media machine, PC Police and won. Why are you so worked up about this Bob? Maybe you should tell your teammate Ms. Hilton to keep that nasty trap shut. Well done again young lady.
I think we should remember that Adam and Eve were in a state of complete innocence and purity while in their birthday suits, and although it isn't specifically mentioned in the Bible were probably also enjoying each other sexually as well.
There is a line at the end of "The Notorious Bettie Page" where Bettie tells someone who doubts the authenticity of her faith that "people became sinners when they began wearing clothes, not when they were naked."
Because Joe, the vicious media trolls in YOUR camp villified her–as I'm sure you did as well–and made her the story. Of course it would never occur to you to correctly put the blame on that little pig-faced, potty-mouthed freak whose tantrum started all of this.
I love how you libs poison the well then bitch about how the water isn't drinkable.
Marriage isn't a right. I had to take a blood test and get a license. And NO society, Christian or pagan has ever, EVER endorsed homosexuality as being the equal of heterosexuality. None, nada. And don't pull out the cliched, false talking points about Greece and Rome. It doesn't wash.
Just a few more episodes like this and we might just be fortunate enough to witness Ubermouth completely break down in a pool of his own drool. It's only a matter of time now.
Damn, girl — you are abslolutely CORRECT! My BAD! (give me your number, YOU are my new FACT CHECKER!)
"…but that she lied about the photos"
Byron — Please provide proof that she was lying in that press conference. If you can't, then you are guilty of something worse — slander.
And at the risk of understatement, I find it inconsistent how you on the Left are now getting excorcised over breast implants and a skin shot of a naked back…while you no doubt cheer the ACLU defending not only Perez Hilton's infantile toilet-humor blogs, but Larry Flynt's Wide-Open Beaver Empire, NAMBLA pedofilia, and Maplethorpe's crucifix dipped in urine — as protected under the 1rst Amendment.
You guys defend deviancy and every degenerate act of human degradation as if your lives depended on it…and then with the same zealous fervor attack every notion of decency and true human beauty you can.
You must be very proud of how you're 'beautifying' our country.
Yep. Foolish rules of ancient date is the way to roll in the new millennium. Take a chariot to work?
That was so predictable I could have set my watch by it. Do you have anything else to say?
*MissQuinn*
That's because… SURPRISE! WE'RE HUMAN, AND WE MAKE MISTAKES!!!
That's the thing you don't seem to understand here.
*MissQuinn*
Well, it was ancient Greece that was more accepting of homosexuality… and IIRC they didn't call it marriage either. Oops.
I've only seen it portrayed in a few science fiction novels, though not in an "in-your-face" manner, just something there, background details or similar. Though one can do that in sci-fi. You can skip over whatever decades or centuries it might take for some massive change in society to happen and have it simply be that way. (These stories were set many centuries into the future. I suppose if same-sex marriage ever becomes acceptable in general, it'll definitely take centuries. Especially with bozos like Paul_D, Perez Hilton and others leading the charge.)
Trish, I agree. I will not be watching next year's Miss USA Pageant if Hilton is a judge again. He is too creepy.
OlympicLeprechaun, if you complain about people vilifying Prejean or have problems with "libs poison[ing] the well" then you should try to avoid using terms like "pig-faced, potty-mouthed freak" to describe Mr. Hilton. That's just another ad hominem attack. Also, it wasn't only the left-leaning "media trolls"….Fox ran this story into the ground too.
Mr. Graham:
"A second lingerie-modeling photo of Miss California USA Carrie Prejean has appeared after she assured pageant officials this week that the earlier shot was the only one she had appeared in.
"***
"'We have been told by Carrie Prejean there are no other photos other than the one circulating in existence. She should know better than anyone,' Miss California USA Director Keith Lewis said Wednesday before the latest photo was released."
"***
"'When you compete for Miss California, you're supposed to disclose whether you posed for nude or semi-nude photos, because it's grounds for disqualification,' [Trump] said.
CNN obtained a copy of the pageant contract Prejean signed last year, in which she agreed that the discovery of semi-nude photos could mean disqualification."
I've got no problem with her posing. (As a straight male, I'm actually quite appreciative!) But posing in and of itself is not the issue. She signed a contract and she may have violated it. (The Donald, in his vast ethical wisdom, said she didn't. Fine.) As for breast implants, I'm personally not a fan, though that's a matter of taste….but they do help promote an unrealistic standard of beauty that helps contribute to many impressionable young girls having body image issues. (Prejean is by no means alone in this; almost all beauty pageants, along with millions of other media images also contribute.)
The First Amendment does indeed allow all of the enterprises you mention to exist, just like it allows Prejean to say whatever she likes about gay marriage — in her own free time. To quote Evelyn Beatrice Hall (not Voltaire): "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."
Whatever rolls your 20 sided dice, bub. Last I checked, your party is in the wilderness and hopefully Darwinism can work a little faster.

It's Donald Trump. Hilton will be back, and there'll be some equally-irrelevant "conservative" talking head in another seat. The long-term after effect of this whole thing is that Miss USA is going to turn into a cross between American Idol, The WWE and Hooters.
I stand by what I said. Hilton EARNED that. His behavior demonstrated exactly what he is. And if I were Carrie's father, brother, or boyfriend I'd have flown out to California to pound his face into the pavement.
And you know what? I would say it again, and I would apply the same words to people like Olbermann and Musto and anyone else who feels it is appropriate to label a young woman a "bitch, a c**nt, a tranny whose dick and adam's apple were cut off" just because she doesn't cave under the pressure to publicly endorse a sexual abnormality. This was an orchestrated attack with the intention of ruining her life and they probably would have giggled if she had been pushed to suicide.
Don't even begin the moral equivalency argument. I'll freely admit it, I do hate that little pile of dog excrement, as I hate anyone who attacks a young woman the way Carrie was attacked. Blame lies with the instigator pal. As far as I am concerned any man who doesn't feel the same way I do about Hilton and his antics is no man.
Aw, how sweet. Vengeful gloating and a poorly-alluded wish for those you deem your enemies to die.
