Conservatives often talk about what they don’t like about Hollywood. That’s okay, but it’s not productive. Maybe it’s time we talked about what we do like? More to the point, let’s point out when Hollywood has gotten it right. And that brings me to the...

Hold onto your salamander.
Mormons don't riot. They just have their churches vandalized and fake anthrax sent to their temples when they vote their conscience.
…and have their secret vote spread all over the internet by progressive judges in a bankrupt third republic of Califailure.
Que Tom Hanks disdain.
It's amazing, this is less than dirt to the rest of us who don't worship gay icons. No streisand nor Hanks.
After all thats happened in the last decade, I don't care anything for these self-agrandizing fools. I don't care about Prop. 8. It's not the end of the world. Films lost their edge years ago, because they are still mentally in the 1970s and 9/11 never happened nor do they care if one of their foriegn filmmaking friends is murdered for his film.
How lame is this, it's like if the board of Enron gave each big awards. It's a pagan ritual composed of boring speeches and barely wanted social commentary.
What's a Morman?
Shorter Ernie Mannix:
"Get a brain, mormans!"
Oh My … this is just too rich!!! LMAO!!!!
I like to think that he didn't misspell "Mormons," but, rather, "Mermans." If those guys riot, our nation's beaches are SCREWED.
No, They just get their Magic Undies all twisted up when their hypocrisy is exposed!
Yeah but Ernie was talking about the "Mormans", a different group.
What's a Morman?
What's a que? You mean a queue? Or a cue?
I know, right?
That's what happens when Republican governors are let loose… bankruptcies follow…
My vote is "Mermans," though I think it's supposed to be "Mer-men" (at least, that's what I played at the municipal pool with my brother during our Man from Atlantis formative years)… or maybe he meant Ethel Merman? Though Wiki says she's passed on. And I doubt old Ernie would really be focusing on a musical theater star (and gay icon) anyway, except maybe latently and/or on the down-low.
More-mans?
You’d think the Mormons would have picked up from the whole ‘Choose for others only as one would choose for one’s self” thing that when one chooses for others other than what one would choose for one’s self, one invites instructive consequences that remind one that a more gracious choice was missed in the choosing. Based on their conduct during their zealous campaign to deny people in another state rights the state constitution entitles them to by law, the Latter Day Saint wannabes have got a lot more in the way of instructive consequences coming there way. After all, they’ve invited it as have many a misguided evangelical. What part of ‘Choose for others only as one would choose for one’s self’ don’t they understand?

No, not their “secret vote,” their financial contributions to the “Homos scare me, mommy!!” campaign.
I'm surprised so many conservatives are down on "Milk." After all, the queer loudmouth gets smoked in the end, and it's as a direct result of his Homo ways. It could have been handled even better, though — I'd love to see some good culture warrior with a computer put together a new, improved ending — one where Mr. Milk goes straight to Hell after he dies, and Dan White is immediately lifted to paradise in a one-man Rapture. Now that's quality conservative entertainment!
Mormen! (Freudian slip, methinks)
Are you confusing the "secret vote" , which remains secret with the "never was a secret" list of contributers who provided financial support for Prop 8? The latter list was disclosed under California law which required disclosure. Contributors knew, or should have known this information would be public since they were required to provide the information along with their contribution.. The courts only enforced the law as written. Facts are troublesome things aren't they?
