Inside The Head Of Al Gore
by Ernie MannixFLORIDA — FLORIDA — FLORIDA - FLORIDA FLORIDA FLORIDA… Wake up.
Open eyes. Stare at the ceiling. Realize it’s getting warmer and the ice is melting little by little.
Breathe in the aroma coming from the kitchen. Something’s yummy. The chef is making Tipper and myself a terrific breakfast.
Check the clock. Oh boy, supposed to talk to Carter in a few about that salmonella peanut thing. I know there’s some warming in there somewhere. The chef’s gonna have to trash that omelet and make me a fresh one. The hell with him, I pay him damn good.
Off comes the robe, get on the scale. Yeahhhh, I think Affleck should play me in that movie. Check out my side angles in the mirror. Not bad, Albert.
I really should look into getting one of those Segways – this house is just so damned big.
Get in the shower. Ahhhhhhhhh. Thank God I had the handyman remove those pressure regulators. This is awesome. Before it dribbled like two prostate patients. But–this–is–so–invigorating.
Get out of the shower; use the heat lamp room, then sauna room, then steam room. Emm good.
Into the massage room. Here’s Consuelo for my morning massage.
“Good Morning, Mr. Nobel Laureate. Congrats on the Grammy!”
“Hello, Consuelo. Nice to see you. Did you bring that giant tortoise soup recipe from your Mother?”
“Yes, Mr. Vice President, I gave it to the chef.”
That chef better get his butt in gear and make that soup tonight. Don’t care if giant tortoise is hard to get. All he does is cook for the staff of thirty five, three times a day. Big deal. Try leading the movement – now that’s work.
I hope Carter calls me soon. Maybe I’ll make him wait if he does, I’d like that.
This is a rotten massage – Ouch – Jeez, Consuelo.
Gotta go to the tobacco pickers luncheon today, press some flesh. Tonight’s the Cancer Society silent auction. What are we giving them to auction? Oh yeah… autographed pictures. Any percentage there? Nah, be charitable Albert, come on. Well, have a lawyer check it… Wait – have Tipper’s lawyer check it.
“President Carter is on the phone, sir.”
“Thanks, Jenson.”
That freaking butler never knocks. I told the head butler to tell all the other butlers to knock before entering a room.
“Hey, Jimmy! How’s it going!”?
“It’s Bill, Al! You forget me already?”
“HoHooo, Bill, my guy said it was the peanut man! What’s up, babe?”
That’s it, fire Jenson. I so don’t want to listen to the ramblings of poor Mr. Rodham again today. God, he’s so needy now. He can’t even earn speaking money over in Jersey for cripes sake. My how far we’ve fallen, Billy boy.
“So how’s it going up in the Big Apple, there Bill? Harlem nice? I would really like to get to see your office someday. Oh, boy, wait a sec Bill, Carter is on the phone now… I gotta go… ‘kay? Bye.”
Thank God that didn’t go on for long.
“Consuelo, tell the Chef I want 4 eggs scrambled, bacon well, sourdough toast, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, …annnnnnd some green tea.”
“Yes, Mr. Nobel Laureate, but I think he made you an omelet.”
“No I think, Consuelo!”
“Yes, Mr. Vice President, I’ll tell him.”
I’ll wear my Ostrich boots to the luncheon today. Cowboy look should be good.
I should call up Deepak. I want to host an “Al Gore World Conference,” and I’d like to include him. Gotta tell him to lose the Elton John glasses though. Yes, a big AL GORE World Conference. I want a film crew there. A mini series… No – a regular series for HBO. Lots of tender behind the scenes stuff. Third world folks. Polar bears. Make sure to hide the luxury trailers from the press this time. Maybe we could do some kind of “Hut Conference” for the cameras. Total green deal. DiCaprio will do it… he’d better. Yeah, a TV film crew… but shot on 35. TV star… hmmmm – I’ll wear my “Wild Kingdom” khaki ascot suit.
Let’s see… that would be Oscar, Nobel, Grammy, and soon – yes an Emmy. Let’s see Obama try that.

For 800 BILLION dollars everyone should get at least $125 a week. That would mean that the taxpayers get 10 cents of every dollar Obama is borrowing in their name. He is using the rest to pay off his crew. Of course we all know this is just the first of many "stimulus" packages he will want. Spending borrowed money on government is no way to stimulate the economy.
Dr. M.
"But for a small shift in Ohio voters, Kerry would have been elected in the same way Bush was." And if the King had breasts he would be the queen. So what!
With a ratio of 1.3 Dems to each Rep, and I am the former, I would think that the Democratic Party would get more votes in every election.
Do I mock the $13.00,yes! Only because the Dems beat up W for his tax cuts and Mr. O berated him for his “failed” strategy. W ran up the defficit, increased gov spending and cut taxes. That sounds to me just like what the Stimulous Package is going to do. So if W’s plan was a failure, why should I expect anything different with this Porkulous plan?
After looking at that photo, I wonder if he is contemplating his navel or trying to remember where he left the blueprints for the internet.
Yet, in 2000, a million more Americans actually voted for Gore OVER Bush.
Al Gore is INSANE. He isn’t a nice man. He is a megalomaniac and he is obsess with thinking he is going to be Churchill of the environment war. His Daddy was a Democratic segregationist Senator who told the young pot head Al Gore “that one day son, you’ll be president” and Al didn’t make it. So he snapped, blew up like Jaba the hut and grew a bead. This was his John the Baptist days and he emerge from the frozen north, to preach the Gospels of Global Warming during the worst cold snap in America for a long time. This man is insane and he is love with himself as well as all these liberals.
One evil-looking man. Passionate authoritarian dictator of weather prediction by fudging facts. It appears he’s been living very well since he’s gaining weight by the minute.
DR MANHATTAN, it’s 2009 now.
Of course its 2009, but it serves as a reminder that in 4 out of the last 5 Presidential elections, the DEMOCRAT received more votes. Yet, you guys still act as if you’re the overwhelming majority.
Dr. Manhattan,
I hate to burst your illusion, but the difference was 543,895.
Ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_2000
Just like AlGore – why let the facts get in the way?
DR. MANHATTAN-
Are you counting the ACORN two-fers there?
Also, which guys are acting as if they’re the overwhelmong majority?
Oh, man..that’s rich..GWB as a “liberal”? Where exactly were all of you fiscal conservatives when he decided to fund two major wars with loans from China?
So, let’s put the cards on the table. Exactly what programs will you cut in order to balance the budget without raising a single tax while INCREASING defense spending.
What the frak does ACORN have to do with the fact that the GOP has only had more votes than the Dems in the Presidential elections ONCE since 1992.
By the by, on the stimulus bill, you do realize that the tax cuts contained in it are actually LARGER than the tax cut Bush passed in 2004?
VICTOR LASLOS – February 12th, 2009 at 2:44 pm
Agreed. Gore didn’t say a word about Global Warming for the eight years he was in the White House. His crusade is a cynical career move and nothing more.
His motives are no different than those of the “greedy CEOs” that he and his followers attack. What is different is that they earn their money and power by producing something while he only destroys.
HAHAAHAHAHAHAGHA That AWSUM!! Yeah…you nailed him.
“Where exactly were all of you fiscal conservatives when he decided to fund two major wars with loans from China”
The same place as all the Democrats who thought they were great ideas as well: listening to the ‘proof’ that they were necessary.
Oh, and didn’t we win that war in Iraq? Hertz, donut?
Dr. M
Once again you do not let the facts get in the way.
If you consider $13 per week a break, you can have mine. They threw that in to cover the cornerstones of the Nationalized Medical System.
As for the popular vote that you keep pumping, as in 2000 you lost tack of the fact that the President is not elected by the popular vote.
I’m confused Mike-O, the tax cuts contained in the current stimulus package are actually LARGER than the Republican cuts of 2004 and the first year of the Bush “stimulus” of 2001. So, if you’re going to mock the $13 a week figure, just how much money was really put in your pocket by the previous tax cuts? The inherent fallacy in the supply-side tax cut philosophy is that the VAST majority of Americans receiving the tax “cut” don’t really see an increase in their pocketbooks, and in fact given that real wages have actually DROPPED in the last 30 years, whatever gain we made from supply-side tax cuts was erased by rising prices and the devaluing US dollar.
By the way, I know that the Electoral College decides the election. But for a small shift in Ohio voters, Kerry would have been elected in the same way Bush was.
Al Gore uses $1,400 or about 20,000KWH of electricity in his MANSION each month. 20 times what the average American household uses, the same people he brow beats on a regular basis to quit wasting energy. The only awards he should get are for duping the liberals.
“I’m confused Mike-O, the tax cuts contained in the current stimulus package are actually LARGER than the Republican cuts of 2004 and the first year of the Bush “stimulus” of 2001. So, if you’re going to mock the $13 a week figure, just how much money was really put in your pocket by the previous tax cuts”
This is a pointless argument. The recession of 2001 was very small, so the tax cuts were small. The 2004 tax cut was just a Republican tax cut, which is the Republican philosophy.
When you tout your ’stimulus’ bill as being a necessary, drastic measure to fix an unprecedented failing economy, you can’t offer slightly more tax relief than was offered in times of small recession or boom, then claim you’re doing anything.
And I don’t know where you get the idea that Americans who receive tax cuts don’t see an increase in their money. Getting a check is getting a check, paying less is paying less. The real fallacy is that giving money to ACORN, starting bridge projects that will take years to get clearance, and buying condoms will revive a failing economy. You need to stop being so partisan and start thinking for yourself.
Al Gore and his poor scholastic record are the perfect example of the kind of people liberals hold up as thinkers. They are what I like to call dumb-smart, people that hold up something as smart…let’s say Al Gore’s views on global warming, even though it easily can be debunked (and I’m talking specifically about HIS views and films, not a serious scientist with whom I still might disagree with.) Noam Chomsky and Ward Churchill would be examples of dumb-smart peoples’ favorite thinkers. The hall mark being that a dumb-smart person quotes work which is A) popular in liberal/”academic” circles B) not at all based on strong conclusions and c) is contrary to some sort of “official view” and therefore in the eye of the dumb-smart person true. A way to avoid being this kind of person is to realize that just because the official or state view might be wrong, the alternate explanation may be untrue as well.
The concensus on this thread seems to be that Gore is 1. Dumb, 2. Crazy, and 3. really, really STOOPID.
Of course he’s none of those things. If that’s what this thread leads to, it shows one of the reasons why conservatives are so ineffective at defeating liberal media superstars (Clinton, Gore, Obama, O’Donnell, Maher, etc.)
We need to start developing lucid, convincing arguments that these people are liars, and they are deliberately lying in order to make money and increase their fame.
The left does that to our side all the time (usually they have to use a lot of deception to do it). We’re at a huge advantage here because the facts are on our side – Gore really is a liar who is only chasing fame and fortune. But to show that in an intelligent way is hard. Calling him a retard and a moonbat loon are easy. Keep doing the easy things – and these people will keep winning elections and garnering more and more power.
Manhattan–
Get invited out much?? Bet you’re the life of the party, what with all that wisdom you display. I know there was some GIANT conspiracy to keep Gore out of the White House in 2000, so we paid off the people counting the ballots and we won, Gore lost…lifes a bi+ch sometimes isn’t it?? You and Big Al should take a vacation together…you’d bore one another to death and then we’d be done with the both of you!!!
I’ve always thought Gore was a bit of a dunce and the more his lips move the more I think I’m right!
You know I love ya’, Ernie, but why, oh why did you give me the image of Algore in his bathroom?? I will have to bleach my brain now and it’s your fault!
You know, what's frustrating about this whole debate is that we're all missing out on the key factor behind global climate change. And here, it's been sitting in front of us all along: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/no...
Kim Jong-Il: is there anything he can't do?
Dr. Manhattan – February 12th, 2009 at 3:07 pm
Of course its 2009, but it serves as a reminder that in 4 out of the last 5 Presidential elections, the DEMOCRAT received more votes. Yet, you guys still act as if you’re the overwhelming majority.
Of course “Dr” Manhattan forgets that far more Americans didn’t bother to vote (or weren’t eligible), so Gore received support from approximately 4/5 of the population (and none of the illegal aliens). Neither party can claim a majority of support, except for what is reported in polls.
Oh yeah, Bill Clinton got far less the 50% in both of his elections. Without Ross “Giant Sucking Sound” Perot, he might not have been elected either time.
Texacali… where ya been?
Of course, what you're missing here is that approximately 4/5ths of the country didn't vote for Gore (whether they were ineligible, or just not interested). Neither party can actually claim a majority or mandate, other than by what the polls tell us.
As for Clinton, he didn't even come remotely close to 50% of the vote in either election. If it wasn't for Ross "Giant Sucking Sound" Perot, he probably would have never been elected.
One more thing about Gore. If he could have won his own state (the people who knew him best), we wouldn't have had the train wreck of Florida. Of course instead of Liberals being mad at Gore for running a lousy campaign, they blamed the Supreme Court for saying no more appeals claiming the state court was unfair. They never mention the fact that news organizations hand counted the ENTIRE state of Florida and Bush won by a small, but significant margin. The Left is dependent on the kind of hand-wringing and whining that has gotten them on top. Unfortunately, it's pretty tough to govern that way.
Come on. when will everyone realize that Gore is in this for the money. He has made a career out of "it's hot out"
I don't know whether Global Warming is real or not. but what I do know is that Gore has the world biggest con going.
Where do you think he gets all the cash for the 12,000sf home he lives in. The G4'sw he flys in. He did not make that kind of money playing fetch for the Clintons, and he has no job. Ever wonder why all polititions are filthy rich. Some got into politics already flush, some married into money, but most made it while in office or right thereafter. Check the pay rates for these creeps. Congressmen make a about the same as a McDonald Manager.
Gore and many others should probably be wearing orange overalls if you know what I mean.
Inside the head of AlGore, YUK! Ernie, you deserve combat pay brother for having the courage to think of this one. When I see AlGore I think of the, “The Borg Collective, episodes on Star Trek NG. Dress this cat up like a cyborg and there you, or even paint his dumb ass green with two bolts protruding out of his neck while he stumbles about with his arms straight out repeating, “global warming, global warming… Gods speed, Ernie we hope you return from your daring adventure into the mind of madness, and one last thought while you’re in there with Big Al, tell him to go, “well you know.
It must be pretty lonely in Al Gore's head…not much in there to keep you company…
This is the first Ernie Mannix column I've seen. I heartily approve. Plus, I really like his bio shot. He looks something like Al Franken, only much more intelligent and not at all inbred.
Easy. Anything that the Federal Government isn't supposed to be funding according to the Constitution. You know, things like Welfare, Education, the Arts, Climate science, All forms of hand outs, etc. Once you're down to just the basics of National Defense and Common Currency you'll have plenty in the federal budget to increase defense spending.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/ef/Fy2...
As you can see, a large chunk of our budget isn't spent on Defense, but on things the Fed shouldn't be involved in. Ax those things and it frees up a lot of money. I can see 60.1% of the budget I would cut right now, leaving those things related to Defense (such as Defense spending, war on terror, Dept of Homeland security) and providing for common currency (treasury).
True, a small shift in Ohio voters would have given Kerry the win, but luckily for America, at the time, people in my state were smarter then they displayed in 08.
Gore's motivation for the "Global Warming Tour" is that he's on the board of directors and is a major shareholder of the group that plans to sell carbon credits. That whiff you've caught is called a conflict of interest. This scam artist is playing on the herd mentality of the left-wing educated American public. Nobody's every gone broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people.
Daniel, You are spot on. I work for a large electric company, and most customers use about 10,000 to 12,000 KWH a year. The rates at the company i work for make that between $900 and $1000 per year. Algore's usage is just rediculous. But should we be suprised that yet another liberal is shouting "THE WORLD IS MELTING! STOP LIVING MODERN LIVES!" while their actions show the lie of their words?
Well reasoned thoughts on porkulous plan Mike O. I welcome debate with anyone who can show any level of reasoning. I have a friend that is a liberal thats pretty much the complete opposite of me on everything (except that we both hate mustard). We love to debate because we both can defend our positions with more then just insults. I see that type of reasoning in your post.
All the fiscal conservatives I know were livid GWB didn't veto the spending bills in his 1st 6 years (not to mention ridiculous bills such as McCain-Feingold)… but the reality is, the largest budget/deficit hit was the Medicare Rx bill AND THE DEMOCRATS WANTED A BIGGER PACKAGE! Add to that the massive expansion of the Dept of Education and viola, GWB gets invited to an NPR cocktail party.
But the critique and disapproval from the Conservatives shows which party is interested in self-analysis and remediation. When is the last real debate you've heard between two Liberals about their own failed policies and how they need to improve upon them?
The only retort you get from Liberals is "look what the Republicans did."
mmmmm ….. doughnuts
hahahahahhaha oh my… I suddenly had "so ronery" from Team America playing in my head.
Actually it starts with, "yeah but….."
Please don't ever take us on the Al Gore Head Tour again. I'm agoraphobic.
I used to think the best con men were those people who sell putting your name on a star. You send them twenty bucks and they send you a piece of paper. Then Al Gore came along and sold fear of the weather. Yes, another word for climate change is weather. It's cold now. Then it will get warmer. Why? The climate changes. But you can save yourself from weather by buying carbon credits. You send people money and you get… nothing. Maybe they tell you they planted some trees. Maybe they did. But you have just paid for nothing to protect yourself from weather because Al Gore said you should. As con jobs goes, this one will go down in history.

Al FRANKEN? Oh dear, I have to change the avatar.
How do you think I feel? They don't call this guy "Lockbox Head" for nothing.
Actually, it's been done before. Just another instance of selling indulgences.
Actually, it's been done before. Just another instance of selling indulgences.
"But for a small shift in Ohio voters, Kerry would have been elected in the same way Bush was."
yes, and if my aunt had balls then she would be my uncle!
Richy rich boy with all of the advantages of daddys money and power and he' flunks out of seminary school? Another example of the two faced double standards by libs. Sarah Palin who comes from a working middleclass family , the kind of people the dems proclaim to support, and she gets ridiculed for going to a few different colleges before getting her degree yet this dolt couldn't get through seminary school. Same as their view on the fairness doctrine. Almost every tv show, network news, late night host and musical entertainer uses the media to spread lies and misconceptions about the republican party and the libs get upset because conservatives have a voiceon FOX. If they believe Rush, O/Reily and the others are stupid and the people who listen to them are un-educated then why do they fear them so much?
Dr. Manhatten,
How is it that you know what is actually in this so-called stimulus bill? It is going on 9 a.m. at my house, and at this moment, the bill has not been finalized or posted for the public's viewing. There doesn't seem to be anyway for you or anyone else, including the Congress being pushed to hurry and vote for it, to know what was kept, or what was trashed.
As for Gore, I have met Mr. Gore. It was at a fund-raiser a few years back. I was invited as a guest of one of the speakers that night. He spoke with me and my host for abouut 20 min. He came across as arrogant, entitled and was continually making snide little remarks. I was told by one of the servers that I met in the restroom that he is always a jerk. She said Clinton was one of the nicest. (of course, that may have had something to do with the fact she was really pretty.) If you want to know about the real Al Gore, speak to his TN constituents. I am sure they have some definate opinions on his personality.
Hilarious!
http://the100mostannoyingthings.blogspot.com/
Yeah, well somewhere around the pituitary gland I had to get off the bus and puke behind a pile of chads — and I'm not cleaning that up. I'm glad I didn't have to pay for this tour. Or will I be billed?
Ernie, ya' know I love ya', but now you have put the image of Algore in his bathroom without his robe. I'm gonna have to use the brain bleach. I hope it works…
Dr. Manhattan, I've never seen a better case of a text book liberal than yourself. In every thread I see you comment on you manage to throw your spin of the "facts" in and never bother to respond to anyone who corrects you.
Bush was a massive liberal when it came to spending, and is the reason that the Republican party lost a lot of its registered voters. I personally re registered as a conservative (though now I'm leaning more and more toward libertarian) because of his spending in large part.
All of us fiscal conservatives were lamenting the wars funding along with all of the other spending orgies going on over the last 8 years. However, liberals such as yourself are always too busy yelling your own opinion to stop and hear anyone else. I have a coworker exactly the same. I say something about the new Obama stimulus/bailout crap and then he reacts presenting my opinion as though I was in support of Bush's version of the same crap. He of course conveniently forgets that I was against that too.
The lack of intellectual integrity your side constantly has when debating ANYTHING just makes me sick. You can never move any issues forward because liberals are too busy misrepresenting the positions of anyone who isn't liberal to actually get any work done.
I'm with you except for O'Donnell.
I don't think anyone, anywhere, regards Rosie O'Donnell as a superstar.
BTW, Gore went to Harvard for undergrad, not Yale. He flunked out of one graduate program at Vanderbilt and withdrew while failing from another. GWB went to Yale for undergrad and Harvard for an MBA, where he was the poker champ. But, according to the MSM, Gore is the genius, GWB is the dummy. Right.
Yes, and at the same time, GWB planned and executed the most diabolical, evil genius plan to overthrow the world that the left has ever seen. I wish they could get their stories straight.
Jonah,
First of all – great beard.
I try, but must admit that at times I fail, to keep my comments non personal. If I fail, please say so.
I am a conservative Dem who lives in So Cal. I am represented by Dianne Feinstein, Barbara Boxer and Maxine Waters. I have not voted Dem since Mondale and have grown very tired of the name calling that the fools in DC like to do. I find it laughable that Congress points to W's low rating as they vote themselves a pay raise. Even though their rating was 10 points lower that W's. They want to raise taxes but can not find time to pay their own taxes. I do and will respect Mr. Obama, because I think that he, as did W, have a very difficult row to hoe. I avoid Celebs who choose to go out of country or stand up and a concert and expound their vile for the sitting President. I believe there is a civil way to express discord and Woopie, the DIxie Chicks, Morgan Freeman and others chose a different path. I choose to not pay for their products in return.
Enough of my bloviating.
Joe
May I add that Rosie is an embarrasment to the name O'Donnell.
Nothing is free. PS your barf just warmed the planet. Shame on you.
Okay. The PJs were under the robe. I swear.
IIf sweaty politicians were made into a movie, it would be called Cool Hand Al, because, yeah, well…nothin' can be a real cool, Oscar, Nobel, and Grammy winning hand. And I do mean nothin'.
True, and might I add; but for a small shift in Tennessee voters, Gore would've been elected in the same way Bush was. Even Mondale managed to win Minnesota in that supreme butt-kicking of '84.
Thanks, a good beard is hard to grow,
I know what you mean, so many of the local republicans here in Ohio stopped being conservative years ago. In the last few election cycles the RINOs were replaced by democrats that were more conservative then them. I mean, our democrat governor has actually cut taxes and spending, where as our previous Republican Governor did nothing but raise both. I suppose it goes to show that were a strong real conservative to run, regardless of the letter by their name, they would do well.
Keep up the fine posting sir!
AMEN!
You are correct!
However, Tennessee voted they way that it did and the rest is history as is the 2008 election.
Hey, didn't you have a project that killed a bunch of Japs? Now THAT was certainly some intense local warming. Well done!
I know I'm a day late with the Dr Manhattan walk through of the Bush/Gore election, but I keep counting and counting, but Bush still did have more ELECTORAL votes that actually win an election…
But hey, now that I get an extra $13 a week, I'm, gonna buy me a new TV or new car… that will cover it according to the liberal way of thinking… I wish I could pay the rest of my bills with that logic…I was getting into the discussions of giving every man, woman, and child in the USA a check for $5,000 instead of all that stupid spending that no one that was elected read the bill and voted on – that would have been put right back into the economy as soon as I got the check…
What is funny about Gore the scientist is the grades he got in college for a total of three science courses. Two Cs and a D minus.
Hold on Einstein.
PS-GW is the biggest bunch of junk science I have ever seen.
CW Post huh Ernie? Okay then I'll leave you alone. You are far over your head anywhere other than this backwater of the Net. Work on your delivery of this phrase: " I'll have to take this offer sheet back to the Sales Manager, why don't you have a cup of coffee?"
Hey it looks like the politics of hope/open minded liberals are here again. You really honor your peaceful hope filled party. You're angry when you come to this site, and it's understandable because it nails you. LOL. Glad we could 'have' you.
Yes, it interesing how GWB is supposed to be an evil mastermind and village idiot at the same time. Maybe there are two of them?
redred221
Don't spend that $13.00 all in one place.
For that $13.00 per week you may be able to afford a brand new TaTa Nano which is made in India.

Oh! Thats right, this is supposed to stimulate the US Economy.
Guess who is in line for a bail out now?
None other that the UN. They want us to bail out foreign banks also.
Every time i come here I am not dissapointed, nice post
