Annie Duke is exactly what is wrong with this country. What an arrogant, self-centered bitch. She taunted Clint Black over writing a song that the idiot executives from Chicken-of-the-Sea picked over his. Nice touch from a low life poker player. I'm not a big Joan Rivers fan, but she's pulled herself up after her husband's suicide and deserves more respect than this example of today's American woman. What has the dye job done, beat a bunch of scumbag poker players? Gimme a break.

Frankly, if there weren't any cameras in the parking lot, I'd run Annie Duke over with my car at Safeway. She deserves it.

Yes, a lot of reality shows are "rigged" for drama through editing etc, BUT, as someone who has worked on reality shows the amount of manipulation as to who wins is less than you'd think. One reason is the danger that it will look like the wrong person won. I think on most shows if you really think about it, the person who did the best job usually finishes first or second. As far as competitions like American Idol, they are to some degree federally regulated as game shows so voting etc. has to be legit, but I do often think that the producers will screw with their least favorite people in some way. Like in the first American Idol when Kelly and Justin had to sing the song which was going to be the single, a song that clearly was better for a woman. But then again if Kelly had to sing the Denny's Senior Menu and Justin had to sing Donny Hathaway, Kelly probably would have won.

I am a fan, have been since Season 1 of the regular Apprentice. I know this show, as with all reality shows, is rigged for ratings, but I watch anyway to see how accurate my predictions will be. Trump is a very predictable character so it surprises me that he has done so well for himself - must be more of a street rat than a true businessman.
Contrary to some other posts, he OFTEN fires people not because of merit, but for some frivolous infraction that offends his sensibilities - ala Kloe Kardashian...and BTW, he seems like a total leech.

Again, it's all about ratings with Trump. It has nothing to do with raising money for charity or finding the brightest and hardest working grade B celebrity. Since the general public does not know who Jesse James really is or anything about him (and he acted like he had the IQ of a hamster), there was no way he was going to be in the Top Two. Annie and Joan began feuding from practically the beginning. People watched the show to see what Joan would say next about Annie or see who Annie would stab in the back next. As soon as Melissa limped off the show, I knew it would be Joan and Annie. They will bring in a huge audience. Trump knew that weeks ago.

It's RATINGS, people!!

Even thought it often amounts to a one- or two-hour infomercial, the poster who mentioned that the Celebrity Apprentice is a guilty pleasure is spot on (it's right up there with Bret Michael's Rock of Love on VH1!). The other poster was correct that Jesse James should have made it to the final; as someone pointed out on the non-celebrity Apprentice a few years ago, the person with the loudest voice is not necessarily the best leader. Also, in a posting on my blog at http://ingeneralcounsel.blogspot.com/2009/04/dude... I mentioned that given Obama's thin resume, he was not even qualified for the Celebrity Apprentice. Oddly, just a few days later, Trump was on FNC's O'Reilly Factor and in response to a pointed question, he claimed he would hire Obama into his company. So Trump is either angling for a federal bailout despite being in the "no spin zone," or he perhaps he actually doesn't get it.

I did not agree with this evening apprentice. First, I will comment on Clint Blacks Team jingle. I disagreee with the gentleman's comments of Chicken of the Sea regarding; Country Music not to promote their product because some people do not relate to country music. That was very stero-type. It all has to do with the jingle. It does not matter if you are a country fan or not. I know because of that comment I will not buy their product any longer. The problem with the jingle was; it needed to be more peppy.
Second, Joan Rivers needs to go. What were they thinking. She has not raised money either. Jesse James should not have been fired. I feel Donald Trump has problems with blue collar workers. What is he afraid that Jessie will show him up? Bottom line it should have been between Jessie and Annie for the final.
This is 2 seasons in a row that I have disagreed with the final. I think Donald Trump needs a reality check. I feel that Annie has played the game great and should be the winner. It is ashame that Jesse will not be able to show what he is about.
