Democrats Have Bigger Teats
by Doug TenNapelI’ve seen the old man make millions of dollars. He was resourceful, clever, thrifty and had the work ethic of an ant colony. This is the rich old man who passes on his life’s earnings to the next generation. The next generation didn’t learn to work, but lived in the comfort of the old man’s palatial estate. Giving the next generation money doesn’t multiply capital, because if they need it in the first place they don’t know how to make it.
That’s President Obama’s stimulus package and it’s also why the money borrowed from our children might as well have been burned…it’s the same tired spending of the last two years, eight years, thirty years, same-o same-o.
This “stimulus package” won’t create jobs, at least not jobs that last, because the kinds of people who make jobs already do that. The groups that can’t make jobs are programs with their hands out. The reason why the government needs to pay money to supplemental nutrition assistance, renewable energy production, education programs, and tax credit payments (to people who don’t pay taxes) is because they can’t turn a profit in their normal day to day operation.
These aren’t sustaining jobs, and like the next generation of kids inheriting the previous generation’s millions, they’ll go through the money like ca-ca through a duck. When the money is gone they still won’t have the tools or structure to be a job multiplier and they will need to get back on the government teat or die. ACORN is not a business. The National Endowment for the Arts is not job creation.
If an artist requires government money to create it’s because they suck anyway.
So far, only government dependency has been stimulated. Some Dems think they’re liked for their brains. I have a different theory about why they win elections.

Oh, but it is designed to create lots of one thing: new clients for the state.
Stand back and be amazed by the growth of the, “Imperial Federal Government.” This Porkulus bill is a scam on working productive Americans. The transfer of wealth is breathtaking. If the government gets to far up my ass, I’ll quit working 80 to 100 hrs a week, and start working 60 to 80 or less, and in doing so I will deliver employees to their messiah. I’ll not live my every breath around my business to give it to the government. I’d rather close down and sit on the beach, and perhaps get on the government teat. Screw it!
Again, I am wondering why NO ONE asked any govt type when and how the taxpayers were going to pay this back? Answer, can't and won't.
Next question? Well, the next BO platform is the reform of ENTITLEMENTS, which in his world means SS and Medicare. Remember those promises? Forget it. Gone PSSST!
Even bigger teats, "Stimulus & Ream Us":

The largest Generational Theft in history…at least I think it is. And why are the people in this camp full of "intelligent" people? I'm just blown away…
Somewhere, Diane Sawyer is sitting in an inner-city hovel with 13 people making the exact opposite case for the American people.
You've hit the proverbial nail on the head. We have a management trainee in the highest office… way in over his head who has never managed a payroll and who feels free to spend for future generations… and nothing to show for it except the potential to collapse an already weakened system.
It makes one want to throw their hands in the air and give up. The question now is what can any of us with brains (AKA conservatives) now do about this and other sure to come debacles of the next 4 (GOD I HOPE NOT
years.
My wife just shot me this quote, not sure who said it:
"Democracy will only last 200 years, once people realize they can "vote in largess" out of the treasury, it will give way to dependence."
Good huh?
Mayor Bloomberg (NYC) should have forgone the third term attempt here and run for President. He, at least, knows how to make money. Real money; real jobs. And, from what I undertand from artists/waiters, he won't spend a dime unless it is forced out of him in a restaurant but he does have a good eye for good art and is known for laying out the $$$ for it. There. All problems resolved on all fronts.
I can say this with confidence: The Boomers (the leftists among them, and the power mongers among them that are running the Government) are the first generation of Americans who are going to leave the country worse than they found it. THANKS YA JERKS!
"If an artist requires government money to create it’s because they suck anyway."
Classic, man.
It's something I've thought and said like, forever. I have friends ( fellow musicians) who think a Ministry of the Arts is a great idea.
Your quote nails it
"If an artist requires government money to create it’s because they suck anyway."
Yeah. Screw the National Gallery, the Hirshorn and all those taxpayer funded war memorials.
You actually did not read the statement. Go back and read it again.
The US Federal Govt is by any standard bankrupt. Once the creditors figure it out, it should be interesting.
How could I forget the Piss Christ war memorial? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piss_Christ
the creditors already know it. Their name is "the federal reserve" and they're the reason we pay income taxes. Believe me, the creditors know.
A lot of my husband's clients are small business owners, and some employ quite a few people, and they're saying the same thing. Why pay all your hard earned money to Obama when you can shut down the business and retire?
I was more talking about the foreign investors who own our T Bonds and Bills.
As easily forgotten as Creature Tech.
Care to distinguish the art you object to ("because they suck anyway") and what I've cited? All of the above receive government money, correct? Not my problem that you're so desperate for a win that you've lost sight of your own narrative.
The only thing this administration is about is accruing power to the Democratic party. The stimulus/patronage bill was about paying back their constituents and creating more of them. The White House census grab is about "finding" more Democratic voters and shutting out the Republicans. Despite their campaign rhetoric the White House seems reluctant to let go of the power that Bush accrued in the areas of security and state secrets. Obama's promises of transparency are laughable. They're even ratcheting up the rhetoric on the Fairness Doctrine. It seems that nothing (not even the Constitution) is going to stand in the way of the Democrats' flagrant and egregious power grab.
I know of a few small business owners that have already reduced staff to control their expenses / spending when business has gone soft. Some of them have to work more hours to cover the lost employees. Others are tying a noose around their neck as they try to keep employees even though the work is not there. Its a bloodbath already, and when the little guys are gone, do you think the government will notice?
Democrats don't have bigger teats! They are just bigger Boobs!
Yeah, the stimulus was so important that Obama took the weekend off to hang out with his wife. This is the worst start of a presidency I've ever seen. With this stimulus, in less than a month Obama has a goof as big as anything Bush did. And now Burris, they actually labled him as a Democrat on CNN!
I don't object because the art sucks, I object to art endowments funded by our children and disguised as job creation.
And Creature Tech wasn't funded by the government, because it's a job-creating entity that came out of my head.
that made no sense.
Calling this thing pork is an insult to pigs.
Fresh from the DNC playbook. First – -pass a dream bill that will fund every lunatic cause. Then take over key industries – banks, autos, housing and put Barney Frank in-charge. The last phase: add 35 – 50 mill new democrats to the voting registers by legalizing the illegals. With the inevitable Mexican collapse, they'll be pouring across the borders, embraced by a new-and-improved message of hope; this new bloc will pale to anything ACORN has done in the past. While the amigos are embraced, the GOP will be relegated to joke status. It's going be hard to stop this juggernaut – people demanded change? Brings back the old adage – be careful what you wish for.
I've seen this too. One of my husband's clients had to lay-off employees when gas prices spiked and the further economic difficulties has on exacerbated the problem and more people have had to go. It's either that or they go out of business altogether.
Probably from Alexis De Tocqueville's famous quote, "The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money."
He also said, "A democratic government is the only one in which those who vote for a tax can escape the obligation to pay it."
While not the biggest fan of America (he was French….go figure), he definitely had a sharp wit.
Unfortunately, you're missing the point. Art is not stimulus. If you believe we should give struggling artists $10 Billion a year, that's your right, but it's supposed to be in an appropriation bill, not in an emergency spending play that is designed solely to encourage recovery in our economy. To include it in that bill (one they wouldn't even allow people to read until after it was voted on) shows the disingenuous nature of their position. They wanted to steal our money (those of us Americans who pay Federal Income tax) and give it to their friends as a reward for their support.
That's the entire argument. We can debate how stupid it is to fund the NEA some other time.
I just heard on sports radio of all things the host go off on a rant about Obama's stimulus bill. Now I'm not to into sports hosts going political (cough…Olbermann) but what he said was amazing. The so-called stimulus includes EIGHT BILLION for a high speed rail from Anaheim to Las Vegas. Which is the home state of, let me think…oh, Harry Reid. I hope more people learn about this brazen pork.
I had two stacks of papers prior to the election:
1. A complete business plan with preapproved Business Loan
2. A stack of pamplets and info about Social Service Plans
Needless to say #1 is filed away and will not be used for a minimum of 4 years. I am also able to sell my house right now because I was SMART and I want to get my VA Cert back in hand before things get worse. I'll reduce and ride this out.
Hope and Change TO SURVIVE 4 MORE YEARS.
