The idea that CO2 is a pollutant is so patently absurd that anyone peddling that notion should be institutionalized. God created a perfect symmetry between his animal-liberal/human life and plant life. Humans, animals and liberals exhale CO2 which is necessary for life; plants absorb this CO2 and produce oxygen which is obviously necessary for human life. What a scientific illiterate would propose is to cut CO2 which would have a defoliation effect on the planet.
This level of scientific ignorance from liberals is what you get when leftwing “teachers” are more interested in teaching kids about fisting and the virtues of communism instead of science, math or history.

The EPA goes and declares CO2 a pollutant and harmful to humans (that last part kinda makes sense, because if you breathe only that, you'll die). This despite the fact that every living mammal on the planet produces it.

All mammals – from mice to cats to dogs to humans to whales and polar bears – emit CO2.
Every time a mammal dies (naturally or otherwise) less CO2 is emitted.
Therefore, the EPA hates endangered species and wants to kill them.

Your list is coming from the IPCC. The IPCC is the very organization that has lost all credibility in the latest scandal. My question to you is, how can you possibly cite the very organziation which has been discredited as the proof that there is a consensus?
Professor Philip Jones, the CRU's director, is in charge of the two key sets of data used by the IPCC to draw up its reports….his global temperature record is the most important of the four sets of temperature data on which the IPCC and governments rely…for their predictions that the world will warm to catastrophic levels unless trillions of dollars are spent to avert it.

Maybe or maybe not. I read on this site every day about how Al Gore is at the center of a global scam which will enrich him and George Soros and other crazy shit. People in other parts of the world who are concerned about this issue don't care about an american politician one way or the other. I don't think I've ever read a thread about global warming on this or other conservative blogs which wasn't full of insults for Al Gore. Whichever side turns out to be more correct on the science, it's a question with huge implications, which would be the same if Al Gore died tomorrow.

Well part of the problem is that, if Al Gore believes what he claims to believe, and one looks at Al Gore's lifestyle, Al Gore would be a very evil man. If there was a sincere beleif, as he claims that Global Wamring will cause a complete Artic Ice Melt in the next five years, yet he is still jetting around spewing carbon into the atmosphere, then what the hell kind of evil f*ck does that make him? And it's a fact that he controls companies that will trade in Carbon credits, and actually sells himself the carbon offsets that he claims justifies his carbon-spewing.
Add that to his condescension, his arrogance, his ducking any debate or public questions, and the proven distortions and blatant misrepresentations in his publishied works….

Well, you asked why Al Gore is beaten up on this site, at least you seem willing to consider there might be a reason or two.
But..he was also handed a Nobel Peace prize for his work surrounding this topic, so he is an important figure in the climate-hoax movement. I'm not the one that gave him that award, it was an attempt to make him politically and morally important by a committee that considering it's most recent recipient appears to skew farly hard left.
The people who back this hoax require Al Gore's fear-mongering because they want to tie the Weestern-world into a series of political committments that will result in massive wealth shifts to the developing world, and some kind of reasoned discussion about relatively mild climate change isn't going to generate the level of fear necessary. They need the entire Artic Ice Cap melting in five years, and the ocean's turned into booiling polar bear soup and Al Gore is the one delivering that phony message while refusing to answer questions or accept debate.

No, I suggest reading the Guardian article about the specifics of the climate hoax. It only takes a small handful of people. There are only four important temprature datasets. Phil Jones controlled the CRU/IPCC dataset. Hansen controls the NASA dataset. (Now the fact that there is more than one dataset speaks volumes about the "certainty" of this science, but I'll leave that alone). NOAA has a dataset. I could cite you credible evidence that all three of those sources are dishonest and that those datasets have been repeatedly manipulated and re-calculated whenever called into question.
Now, governments are handing out grants to study "climate change". Who controls the distribution of money? Academia? The IPCC? Who are they going to support with grants, people that find evidence of little or no climate change? We now have evidence that Phil Jones was conspiring to supress the findings of anyone who disagreed with him ("even if I have to redefine the meaning of peer reviewed")
Here is a petition where 31,486 scientists have rejected the hoax of anthropogenic global warming which is clearly being peddled by those like Algore for financial gain and by the leftwing democrats and spineless rino’s for political gain. How many “scientists” have signed on to Algores delusions, 1500 maybe?
