Exclusive: Prejean Atty. Fires Back: Miss California Pageant Head ‘Cannot Deny Truth’

“Keith Lewis cannot deny the truth: He did not bother to pick up the phone and tell Carrie Prejean before he alerted the media. He did not pick up the phone and call me to let me know she was fired either. Both of us learned about it from media reports. He claims he wants to “move on” yet he continues to attack not only me, Carrie and even Carrie’s pastor, Miles McPherson. This tells you everything you need to know about Keith Lewis and the way the pageant has treated Carrie from day one.”

The invitation is still open. Renounce your legacy as Miss California and become Miss Brisco County. It would only be the most appropriate gesture towards Messieurs Lewis and Trump.

It's actually quite simple to deny truth. . . like this gravity thing you claim to have seen.
Most people don't think about what they hear, they just accept it. And when they hear two people telling different versions, they just assume that the truth lies somewhere in between.
This is a complete joke. Everyone with a brain knows why this happened. Did anyone on the Today Show call this guy out on it?
I sense a scorched earth policy on the part of the CA pageant officials.
If Trump was classy and had real control over the pageant, he would have told the CA pageant officials to just make an official firing statement and nothing more. A true professional, no matter what business they are in or how well known they are, a true professional would have not permitted these people like Keith Lewis to literally assault Carrie in this manner.
At this point, it really does not matter whether or not they had grounds to fire Carrie because their actions are absolutely atrocious!
Carrie is going to be on Hannity tonight as an FYI.
It was obvious from the news conference Trump held that the people running the pageant were fuming and that they would exact their revenge. And they did. Asking Carrie to pose in Playboy was guaranteed to put her in an impossible position. They lay in wait to 'catch her ' and place her in a bad light. They have done that and it is they who look very bad, not Carrie.
It only confirms what most conservatives and Christians think: The 'politically correct' left are vicious, mean, nasty and uncompromising in their views. NO views but there's are to be tolerated. EVER. The more this is highlighted the better. They are all like Al Queda. We are not at war with them but they sure ARE at war with us.
Has anyone read the transcripts of Prejean's e-mail correspondence with Keith Lewis (it's on the Fox News site)? They're less than flattering of her. One wonders what the context of the e-mails are, and what may have been left out.
No doubt there is more to the communication leading up to the e-mails, which may explain why Prejean comes across curt and snarky. But, it doesn't make her look very good.

The troublesome thing about this is the delay. If it happened just after she made her statement about marriage, then people would associate this with Trump and that idiot judge. As it is, this is now associated with her "NOT" completing her commitments. Never mind that Donny boy didn't meantion them buy specifics.
I have yet to see what she has not completed according to her commitments. As such, I am totally with Carrie P. until someone, other than Trump, state with credible documentation, she should be afforded innocence.

One good thing came out of this. Shana Moakler has now decided she can come back to the pageant, even though this wasn't a "her or me" kinda thing.

Letterman gets interference run for him by the MSM for his callous and classless jokes about Sarah Palin's daughter…and Carrie Prejean gets excoriated by the PC press and then fired for defining traditional marriage.

Carrie- I've read the transcript of your communications with Keith Lewis. You are rude, unprofessional, disrespectful, argumentative, and frankly a total bitch. Of course you got fired! OK, so this site is all about popular culture and politics.
The Left is hard at work to use the recent slaying of a late-term abortion provider (who's already been described as a "hero" and a "martyr") as proof that the entire pro-life movement is made up of muderous loons.
They're also citing yesterday's Holocaust Museum incident as proof of the existence of the dangerous, Right-wing, veteran "domestic terrorists" that Janet Napolitano tried to warn us about. (Rest assured, both cases will be the basis for new attacks on the 2nd Amendment.)
Oh, and a respected, professional journalist last week referred to the president as "God" — not a god — God.
And then there's the little things like not-so-creeping socialism at home and the fact that the administration is looking more and more like it wants conscientious objector status in the War on Terror.
So what are we doing? Working ourselves into a lather over a tasteless David Letterman joke and trying to turn a beautry pagent runner-up into Joan of Arc.
So why are you working yourself into a lather over isolated shootings and what Jon Meacham says? People get shot every day, and if Virginia Tech didn't lead to new attacks on the 2nd Amendment, a couple of minor cappings sure won't. As for "respected, professional journalist," I think that's a little generous. He's no more respected and professional than Letterman.
You seem to be the person with a problem with the truth:
1. You lied when you said you never took any risque photos knowing you had. (Its very obvious they are posed).
2. You lied when you said those photos were all taken underage when they clearly showed you post-breast augmentation and a sponsor went on record and verified you sent them showing you were ready to compete post-surgery.
3. You clearly and repeatedly violated your contract.
You seem unable and unwilling to take responsibility for any of your actions. Did your statements and actions about gay marriage turn many against you? Well yes. You were representing California and not a small town in the deep south. When you decided to become the spokesperson for "opposite marriage", as you so illiterately put it, you declared yourself to be representing only those who agreed with you rather than all California. But the pageant and Mr Trump gave you chance after chance. All you had to do was fulfill your contractual obligations and be professional but you could not do that. You burned every branch that was extended to you. Even Fox News is disgusted. So congratulations Miss Prejean- you have managed to ruin your own career and you can take credit for that all yourself. Those emails really say it all. You are a nightmare. Ugly on the inside just as you are fake on the outside. You should pay back K2 for those breasts! I am so glad you are no longer representing the very great state of California.

The Miss California pageant goons tried to oust her from the get-go after her gay-marriage response. Moakler and Lewis had lobbied Trump to fire Prejean. Moakler even quit as head of the pageant's CA organization because Prejean wasn't fired. And you think Lewis and the CA organization were suddenly supportive and cooperative? You think a few emails tells the whole story?
Prejean was viciously attacked from the get-go. Over and over, liberals have shown themselves to be the most hate-ful, vile people on the planet.

Man, I just love the way people like you toss out things as though they are factual. For the record, "it's very obvious they are posed" is not a fact. It is an opinion, one based on something you have seen, and you certainly have a right to it, even if it does make you souns like an idiot.
BTW, Carrie's career is far from ruined. I do know for a fact that she was offered a scholarship from a (shudder) Christian university. And, as I have said on another site, those of you who have called her hateful need to read some of your own comments.

Does anyone know whether Keith Lewis is gay? I kind of got that impression after he had such a huge hissy after the whole thing first broke.
Lewis fought Prejean fairly hard early on, after she stated that gays should not be married. Lewis is a known gay loving liberal. So of course he wanted her fired. So at that point he would be plotting to get her fired. Which is exactly what he did.
My advice for Carrie and others who get called "bigots" by homos for expressing their straight hetero views:
Punch them in the mouth and hit them with a law suit for defamation and anti-hetero hate speech. That is the only way you can get through to these GLBT Nazis.

You seem to have forgotten the recent passage of Prop 8. Seems to me "all of California" (or at least a clear majority) DO NOT support same-sex marriage. So, at least on that issue, Ms. Prejean clearly does represent California!
Regardless of all the claims and all the bias, one thing is clear. This entire debacle is the result of Carrie voicing her support for traditional marriage. It's not about racy photos, unfulfilled obligations, breast augmentation, unauthorized book deals, or bitchy personalities. It's about the intolerance of the "left" toward anyone who would oppose their viewpoint. If it weren't for what she had to say about marriage, none of that other stuff would matter.
I have been a resident of California all my life. As for me, it doesn't matter who comes after Carrie. No one in the Miss California Pagent represents me.

I merely asked is anyone had read the e-mails posted on the Fox News site and asked about what context may have been left out, as Prejean's e-mail replies seemed reactionary given the content of the published e-mails. That doesn't mean I agree with Lewis.

Where is the bullying?
Look, I think our side needs to be far better than the left. So, when I hear about stuff like this, I try to read up and make sure I'm as informed as possible before blindly defending someone. Prejean has show a great deal of class in her TV interviews, and I think Perez Hilton is pathetic. Defending her in that regard was warrnated and correct.
But, judging only from the e-mails that have been published, Prejean doesn't come across that well in this specific instance. That's all I was pointing out.
How can a guy like Trump, who has a TV show about firing bad employees, allow the very unprofessional Keith Lewis to hijack his company and run it into the ground? The "Apprentice" show must be a joke because Keith Lewis is living proof that Trump is clueless about hiring quality individuals.
