“What Keith Lewis is doing is bordering on slander. He says he wants to move on but he keeps attacking Carrie, attacking me, attacking even Carrie’s pastor. Is Keith Lewis begging for a lawsuit? Does he want to take the facts, as we have them, to a jury of Carrie Prejean’s peers? I can’t speak for Carrie, who is a lovely and gracious as well as strong woman who will have her own ideas, but as for me I say: I’m a board certified trial attorney with 26 years experience. I would love to take Keith Lewis on in a court of law with the facts as I know them to be. Knock it off, Keith and start acting like a grownup who puts common decency–not to mention business interests– ahead of petty political grudges and attack machines.”

OMG, enough already please. You may be the center of your universe but you aren't the center of ours. We have more pressing concerns than whether or not you keep some gaudy crown. FFS, get a grip already and tap into some reality please. Do we seriously need 30 posts from or about you in one day?
Yeah, it would make more sense to just stream them all in one post as updates. I appreciate having the info, but making it every other post is a little overkill.
The attacks on Prejean seem pretty over the top. I think part of it is the same reason the attacks on Sarah Palin were so intense: can't have an attractive and high profile woman deviating from the liberal/feminist orthodoxy. Of course, anyone standing up for traditional marriage, particularly in California, has to be immediately discredited.
One of the odd things about this is that the liberal/feminists have criticized beauty pageants for years. You would think that pageant officials would be happy that one of their winners is taking a traditionalist position. Then again, I suppose they fear even more backlash from the lib/fems.
Frankly, Prejean is probably better off without the Miss California/USA folks. She's probably not going to get anything more out of her association with that organization, better to just move on and see where her talent takes her.
Uh – that doesn't mean you have to read them.

I hear the New Miss Caifornia says she was brought it to unify the state. Apparently, she must think she is the Barry O'bama of beauty pageant people. Maybe she can get the state out of its financial woes, at all. Well, this might at least allow the gays to stop their collective hissyfit, but I doubt it.
You know, with the way people like Sarah Palin and Carrie have been treated by the far left, it's no wonder the Arab terrorists think Americans are weak. They're probably laughing about this whole thing.

There's only one thing a modern liberal understands, and that's when you hit them (metaphorically) where they personally feel it. And a law suit would do just that. Nothing brings them back to reality than actually suffering as a result of their own actions.
That's the problem with society today, far too many people are protected from the consequences of their own actions. I say sue the crap out of all of them.

It's ultimately not really about Miss Prejean anymore. Perez started it with his sick comments and then others piled on. To be penalized and demonized for expressing a truthful opinion (as opposed to the more popular one) is completely un-American…and it's spreading.

The issue here is NOT that she gave her own honest opinion on how marriage should be defined. What she did wrong was violate her contractual obligations with the Miss California Organization by appearing as a spokesman for the National Organization for Marriage (NOM). It went against their policies, and when you break the rules, you have to suffer the consequences, And do you all honestly believe that Miss Prejean is being persecuted? Let me put it to you this way: Who won Miss USA? If you know the answer, then she's being persecuted. If you don't, then she's not. I have a feeling most of you know who Miss Prejean is and not who Miss USA is, so the case is closed. Sorry I have to repeat this.

I think you are missing the bigger picture here Khassie. Big Hollywood is the microphone that Ms. Prejean is using to broadcast all of this stuff. If you read news stories about this, they refer here.
If nothing else, this is a brilliant attempt by Breitbart to broaden the reach of Big Hollywood.
Miss Prejean refused to attend an event in Hollywood promoting same sex marriage. Was Mr. Lewis intentionally baiting her? Of course. They couldn't have gotten away with firing her a few weeks ago, so they cook up obviously phony "contract violations." It is insulting to everyone's intelligence. The only ones buying are the same anti-Prop 8 people who support people getting fired for a $100 donation – vindictive and spiteful.
Letterman is stating that a politicians 14 year old daughter was raped in a baseball stadium and nothing is happening to him, but Carrie simply disagreeded with an issue that the California voters supported her on. Who is the victim here?
I wasn't comparing Letterman's comments to the Prejean situation. I was comparing Letterman's comments to an idiot commenter here who called me a whore simply because I complained about having such numerous Prejean posts in one day.

Keith Lewis does not have decency or business interests in mind. Not for a second. If you believe that then you have already lost. Lewis wants nothing less than the personal destruction of the woman you say you represent. Take it to the courts please. Defend your client and your business, if Lewis has his way she'll be so shamed and ostracized she'll be worth nothing to you. Stand up like a damn man, protect your client and your business. Sue Lewis and Trump and the pageant and drag them into the public courts.
