"I see you're still working that "criminalizes those who oppose him" vein, not that you're paranoid. One might ask, if that's the case, why you're not in jail, for instance. It's not as if the DOJ couldn't gin up a very credible crimes-against-art charge..."

I had the same question when the Left was screaming that Bush was a fascist running a police state.

DOONESBURY! (apologies for spelling) That's the strip that this is much better than. That was going to bug me all night. Day by Day is much better than Doonesbury. Also, it's a pretty good song!

This strip is like that hippie comic strip by that old dude from Canada, except instead of being stupid, it's funny. You know, the one where everyone has long tubular noses. Dang, it's going to bug me all night if I don't remember the name of it.

Is there a really bad strip called 'Trudeau'? Ack, you're making my brain hurt just trying to figure out who to compare you to, Mr. Muir.

I have to agree with the Doonesbury comments - I oppose everything Trudeau says in his strip, but it's structured in a way that reveals characters and makes jokes. This is another almost random collection of panels ending with no punch line and leaving the reader without anything for his effort.

Muir's heart is definitely in the right place but maybe he needs a writer to help flesh out the 'comic' part.

Yeah, I think Mr Muir is more into social commentary and political satire through a graphic medium using the movies as his background. I wouldn't call what he does a 'comic strip' anymore than I would call Watchman a 'comic strip'.
