So the Senate just killed the amendment to freeze ACORN of the funding bill, which means they will be seeing a couple billion of your money. WIll they be giving it back to Soros ? Or just buying more cigarettes and Thunderbird for the voter registration agents ?? Oops, that may have been racist. "or just buying more cigars and Petrus for the big guy ??"

Do a survey of the richest people in Congress, see how they stack up. Take the Congressman from Austin, Texas for example. I know his niece personally. If he wasn't a wealty lawyer, he'd be a wealty real estate owner. I'm not knocking wealth or wealthy people, jusy wealty hipocrites like this guy. He consitantly votes to hurt the real working people of American, i.e. in lockstep with the jackboot Dems, all the while cashing in personally. I assure you this pig won't pay a single penny MORE than he has to in U.S. income tax, and probably a lot less. He's a Dem congressman, law doesn't apply to them.

You're right, Welch is neither of those things, and I didn't imply that he was. He's a rich guy whose interests are and always have been propped up by rightwingers willing to screw over working people to preserve the only right conservatives really believe in: The right for rich people to keep making money.

You people will accept wiretapping, curtailing freedom of speech or the press, illegal wars, torture, all that stuff — but if rich people start whining like pigs about paying taxes you line up like a bunch of sheep to defend their right to screw you over so that they can profit.

Well EdGi, I was relegated to a live feed viewing room while King John was holding court. They had ushers at all the doors and I was politely denied entrance.
