In 1998, the Beastie Boys announced the arrival of a new album with the release of “Intergalactic,” which in my opinion, is their biggest and best single to date. It’s certainly their most accessible single, mainstream but with a sound that’s undeniably Beastie. The accompanying video, masterfully directed...

."How do you get funds to keep going with this liberal administration?"
Wait. Isn't Nixon still President?
Nixon was liberal in many ways. He was the candidate after Goldwater, you know our first compassionate conservative.
"Nixon was liberal in many ways."
Certainly in his use of profanity.
It's set in today's time, actually, with the DBD characters filling in. Though I may say, I still have Re-Elect Nixon stickers on my door…
I really like your strip. Just finished reading all the back issues last week. I'm lost on this one though, is it referring to a movie or comic, or what? Also, where would one get Re-elect Nixon stickers? Keep up the good work!
"It's set in today's time,actually"
Yeah, I know, I was just being cheeky! Since you mention it, it should be mentioned (is that redundant?) that during its tortured, decades-long preproduction the Watchmen movie went through several drafts set in modern times, before reverting to the Cold War setting. Good choice? Discuss.
And I have "Nixon's The One!" on my bumper. But ironically.
I always enjoy your strips very tight. The mention Nixon was in response to the upper comment. I have a towel somewhere from the 1968 convention in Miami, it said Huntley Brinkley on top and Nixon-Agnew 68 on the bottom, as we wax nostalgic, I look forward to your next strip.
bought a 69 deville convertible. found a cache of nixon stickers under the spare tire.
was an interesting experience. drive around L.A. with a bush sticker and you're gonna get spit at. but people loved the nixon.
Nixon considered himself a Keynesian. Wage and price controls? Not very conservative. But it´s pretty obvious Muir is not referring to Nixon.
Great, just what I needed, another wonderful webcomic to read, and a huge archive to read through on dial-up. Thanks a lot!
No, really, thanks.
