I was referred to this post by Ms. Rhoads, w/whom I spoke regarding this very issue. I've been a writer a long time, a conservative as long, but only recently seriously dipping my toes into the reality of the pool that is Conseravtive vs Democratic Hollywood. While most know the truth of it, to hear it from those in its midst--& see it in retrospect in stories of those who were Hollywood in the way-back-when 1940s when a lot of this took root in Hollywood--this is to feel the depth of the issue.

Excellent model of diplomacy while holding on to one's personal beliefs. I'm a Cheryl Rhoads fan & happy to say so. And I'm heartened to see the comments to her post.

Well , I haven't paid rent for a while now, but I seem to recall that paying rent for me entailed much more effort than standing in front of a mike for a few hours and speaking. I think Ms Rhoades is doing well for herself.

Then again, I have respect for anyone who is working and paying their taxes.

What about you Gergiev? Care to tell us something about your life so that we can criticize your life choices?

19 years in the business and you're auditioning for a cemetery commercial. Time, perhaps, for a career re-think, no?

eBay. You should see the stuff!

I bought t-shirts with this on them:

"It's 3AM and your children are safe and asleep...
but there's a phone in the White House and its ringing...
Something is happening in the world...
Don't you wish Ronald Reagan was answering it?"

America at its best. Find a need...fill a need!

Cheryl, you may be a fine actress (I don't know, as I've never heard of you before, as is the case with just about everyone who posts here), but you are one of the stupidest idiots I've ever had the misfortune to meet, however, virtually.

That's what I worry about. The "had".
I wish conservatives had outlets for our art like the screwy libs. Not libs in general, this time. Some things do have to be confronted; liberal, conservative, libertarian notwithstanding. But the other stuff is like being downwind when the sanitary bilge is being pumped out...

My now departed blind dog was definitely NOT a democrat . When I would watch the news with her in my lap, she would growl every time John Kerry would speak. She was a very smart dog.
