Somewhere online is a reference where this is a plot point in an old episode of "Gomer Pyle, USMC". Female Gomer was working with in the episode wanted to be called "Captain", her rank, rather than "ma'am". So it dates back even farther!

Well if they don't cross back over, there will be no state to govern.. The blues have succeeded in running out business, is killing the viable crop industry, and has now bankrupted the state. How much more destruction must happen before you loose your only money making industry Hollywood and the music industry before they get that you can only draw from the well so many times before it goes dry and there is nothing left but dust…

A few days ago I left the Philly airport on a flight to Munich Germany. While in the airport. A U.S. Soldier (in uniform) happened to come into the same magazine shop as me. I confronted him and thanked him for his service to our country. His response was thank you "Sir"
