The War on Propaganda
by Chris Burgard“The essence of propaganda consists in winning people over to an idea so sincerely, so vitally, that in the end they succumb to it utterly and can never escape from it.” Joseph Goebbels
There is no shame in artists receiving monetary compensation to sell ideas, products or a presidential agenda. When everything is transparent and contracted aboveboard, this is called advertising. When this process is whispered into being, strategized and set into motion from the shadows of government and from behind closed doors, it is propaganda.

From Sun Tzu to Psy Ops, propaganda has won wars, toppled cultures and changed civilizations. As a self-identified enlightened and educated culture, we thought ourselves beyond such base manipulation. We were wrong.
Where were the voices of dissent on the NEA conference call when so called “artists” were asked to further the President’s agenda?
I have danced ballets and I have done commercials; one side art, the other side business. What side were the NEA recipients on?
Art for propaganda was an essential tool of Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin and Mao Tse Tung. What the heck is it doing in the White House? This should outrage freethinkers, citizens and artists from every corner of America.
The National Endowment of the Arts strategy has been traced straight to Valerie Jarrett, President Obama’s policy facilitator and Grande Dame of his inner circle. As disturbing and possibly illegal as this is, it becomes truly frightening when you connect the rest of the dots:
1) The Democrats repeated commitment to implement the Fairness Doctrine and destroy conservative talk radio.
2) S.733: The bill that would give the President control over the internet in the event of an “emergency.”
3) On Sept. 20, 2009, President Obama stated that he would look into bailouts for print newspapers because he is concerned that blogs will take over the world and be a threat to democracy.
Imagine that: the President of the United States is concerned free speech may be a threat to democracy. Is anybody paying attention?
Thomas Jefferson knew that a free press is essential to a free republic. Control the flow of information and you control the people. This hasn’t changed much since 1933.
Perhaps this is not as visually arresting as book burning, but the results are the same. Joseph Goebbels needed to ensure that the views of the Nazis were put forward in the most persuasive manner possible and make certain that no one in Germany could read or see anything that was damaging to the Nazi Party.
Is this that far removed from the news coverage of Honduras or the under-reporting of turnout for the 9/12 DC rally?
But I submit to you that these propaganda assaults will fail because they are lacking the one element critical to mission implementation: fear.
President Obama and his team are convinced that they are smarter than the average American citizen. They don’t just say Middle Americans “cling to their Bibles and guns out of fear,” they truly believe it. This administration has banked on using fear to push stimulus packages, carbon taxes, bailouts and health care reform. That is their Waterloo.
Fear is not at the core of the American psyche; independence and patriotism are. And when enough Americans step back, take a breath and realize the extent of this manipulation, they awaken with a determination and that is truly frightening to those that would attempt to govern from the shadows.
The fear is now on the other foot.
The Muslim Brotherhood has long taught their operatives in the USA to attack their opponents with charges of “hate speech” and “racism” whenever they were called out to defend their positions in public. The Democrats have called out their big guns: congressmen, congresswomen and even an ex-President to do the same. Why would anyone do this if they were not “afraid” of an informed public debate?
It will not work this time. The sleeper has awakened and she sees the man behind the curtain.
Apathy can no longer be counted on as a tool for those who would seek to control the populace and erode the Constitution.
In this “Constitution Revolution,” the American people are not coming after you with guns or explosives; they are armed with truth, a desire for transparency, a desire for enlightened and informed public discourse, a demand for civic responsibility and a call to politicians to honor their oaths to the US Constitution.

It's funny Chris, liberals will scoff and call us paranoid, but when a president threatens to bail out newspapers and take over the internet, it makes any concern some may have had about the Patriot Act seem tame by comparison.
Obama himself is a propaganda tool.
Outstanding article. You nailed it Mr. Burgard and wish more would read this.

Progressivism delenda est
According to the left, propaganda is only bad when it promotes "American exceptionalism"
There are at least four different fronts where these Liberal, progressives, or whatever you wish to call them are attacking the Constitution, the First Amendment (Freedom of Speech, of the press, and of religion), the Second amendment,( the right to bear arms), the Fourth Amendment, (the right to an expectation of privacy), and the Tenth Amendment, (State's Rights)- all of these are central to the Sacred purpose of the Constitution, that being the inalienable rights afforded to us by our Constitution.
The Constitution tells us what we cannot do, not what we can, and it's sole purpose is to keep government from getting too large,
But Political parties have gotten around the intent, the letter of this document, throught the Article one, Section eight part of the Constitution, what is generally called the Interstate Commerce clause.
For this reason, we need to call for a Constitutional Convention for the narrow and specific purpose of closing this loophole in our laws, so we can get back to a limited government.
Propaganda is most dangerous when the population it is being targeted at is too ignorant or unaware to know when they are being manipulated and misled.
THX 1138 summed up the Obama political philosophy. . . Blessings of the State, Blessings of the Masses
The Interstate Commerce clause will be used yet again to insure the Obamacare will be forced on everyone. There are already several states, including mine (Arizona), that are introducing bills to "waive out" of any federal mandates involving healthcare. I'm not sure how this will shake out, but those in Washington will have good reason to fear what will come if they don't get back to upholding the constitution instead of trying to re-write it.
An alarming number of administration supporters have expressed the view that only "constructive" speech and expression should be allowed in the public marketplace. "Constructive" is usually defenined as anything that advances the Obama administrations policy agenda. The persons taking this view are all either chronologically or emotionally members of the 1960's "Free Speech" movements on college campuses. It was clear then as it is clear now that the goal of these Orwellian champions of "free expression" has always been the forcible extinction of any dissenting views and control of all facilities for communication. Make no mistake about it – These people do not believe in free speech any more than they believe in a right to dissent from their views. e All of them see themselves as the uberqualified products of elite educational institutions. All of them have spent their entire lives preening themselves on their own superior virtue. Since they hold such an unassailable moral position (in their eyes) it is only right that theirs are the only views worth hearing.
Liberals are in love with ideas; Conservatives are in love with life. Liberal ideas, over time, *must* become increasingly radical in relation to the current order of society, or liberals cease to exist. Conservatives seek to maintain in working order support and infrastructure to truths both perceived through experience and those that have earned universal recognition.
Can you imagine Obama meeting with the Founding Fathers of this country, and his feeble attempts to explain his actions?
Well said. I have always thought that liberals only care about the ends as well. The "means" mean something to a conservative.
Conservatives have taken to the town square, much to the chagrin of the left. Get used to it Washington and other assorted leftist, the real America is pissed and there’s gonna be hell to pay in 2010.
Chris hit the nail on the head. Funny how "Follow the money" only applies to conservatives concerns.
As for 2010, I will never forget that it was a Republican leadership failure that allowed the conditions for the current mess this country is in – VOTE THEM ALL OUT – "R" or "D" meaning nothing to me now.
"President Obama and his team are convinced that they are smarter than the average American citizen."
This is without a doubt true, but is it possible that Frank Marshall Davis and Reverend Wright's racism that is being lived out through B. Hussein O. Jr. is the ultimate source of ultimate source of his disregard of basic American values?
What else explains his desire to destroy capitalism? Is it possible that communism is just a way to remove the current, hated white power structure?
I realize that this can't be proved in a court of law, but the worst of it is that decades of propaganda have evolved into political correctness that means that no one can even consider this as the truth.
Art tells a stroy to people who are not busy and want to get there brain stimulated.
Propaganda tell everyone that we can " CHANGE " nature by using a GE light bulb, and save the planet.
Propaganda, that which aims for the gut to fool the mind.
Yet, if it is such an effective tool, why are we not using it? We have confirmed that there are vast hordes of liberals who clearly cannot think rationally and lead with their emotions. So why not target them with our own propaganda, since that is an efficient way to reach them?
I think because Republicans in office fear the state run media. They will show examples of "right wing propaganda" and accuse us of using Nazi tactics. Doesn't matter that it's the tactics they themselves use, liberals always "project" and try to convince people that Republicans are guilty of the gutter politcs that democrats are so famous for.
I get guffaws of distaste and self-righteous admonishment when I even jokingly compare this current administration to the abomination that rose to power in 1933. The co-option of the press which became a psuedo-state run propaganda service printing and broadcasting "news" that was produced by Dr. Goebbles and his henchmen,as well as the more well know crackdowns on personal freedom "for the greater cause of the Fatherland" were intrinsic to the NAZI domination of Germany. The NAZIS didn't START out fully formed, they were a POLITICAL PARTY that tasted power and ran amok. They had a plan and they worked it. We have a POLITICAL PARTY that OWNS (for now) all branches of the government except for a narrow 5-4 Supreme Court majority, vigilance of them is necessary indeed, they have a plan, and they ARE WORKING IT!
So we will be accused of acting like Nazis and engaging in dirty politics?
When did they ever stop accusing us of those? And pausing for breath does not count.
And hit 'em overseas everyday. That's why Obama's decision to stop flashing messages from that building (U.S. mission? not sure, I'll look it up and reference properly later) in Havana and turn off the sign to appease Castro is a mistake. Obama forgets which side he's on, or he knows and it'e a conscience decision to undermine our country, I suspect the latter.
He's just a tool, period.
Under reporting of the 9-12 rally is like Goebbles? Really?
Can someone on here point to a specific example of an artist who got NEA funding and made propaganda art with it?
I think the commerce clause is more an issue for the supreme court. But even if it is redefined you are talking about massive implications for a lot of the things that effect our lives. For better or worse I don't know, but you could potentially be looking at massive contradictions from state to state in regard to policy and regulation not to mention the tax implications. You are correct in your assessments however, the consequences for such actions need to be considered.
There is absolute proof of intent. That should be enough! It is in a court of law. Unless of course you are an apologist, in which case you have made yourself known as nothing more than the classic useful idiot. You know what that is don't you?
I'm so sick of all this crap….the President and all his advisers are the most incompetent, corrupt, unscrupulous,
group of men who could ever be brought together in one place. I think I'll just quit read all this political junk and go back to loading ammo.
Does it have anything to do with thinking that Obama is a muslim marxist born in Kenya?
What I was trying to say is; If we use the same propaganda tactics (not truth) as the left, the media will have thw "proof" they need to backup what they say about us. What they accuse the right of currently doesn't resonate with most people as they can't show truthful examples of us using propaganda.
"Thomas Jefferson knew that a free press is essential to a free republic. Control the flow of information and you control the people. "

This should be the third post at this spot.

I could not agree more. Great Article.
Remain Vigilant
Gee race card and hate card played at the same time. Irellevant uberlibtards are soo predictable. Sergant, Wicks, Skolnik and King acorn should get some jail time for their actions.
test 3, and ID is is still eating all the replies…

To whomever replied to my other reply to olddog55, ID is eating further replies there. My comment page says your reply is there, it is not showing, I have posted a reply to my reply, it got eaten, etc. ID is messed up right there.
I always tell people that liberals/progressives/the left want to cause change just for the sake of change, hoping that something better will come out of it. Conservatives are not afraid of change, we just want the change to happen slowly, only as needed. There is no need to make every turn 120 degrees. Change should be thought out and implemented gradually so unwanted effects of that change can be dealt with in smaller gradations.
There was a time when just the "appearance of impropiety" was enough to launch a congressional investigation. How far we've come!
ID is eating replies from here. My comment page shows there is a reply to my reply to olddog55, it is not showing. I tried replying to my reply to make it "pop up," that got eaten. I called up the same article on another tab so I could reload there and see if stuff was showing up while still having the "Delete" show up where I just posted in the first tab. Nope, nothing showed up.
So I stuck another reply on olddog55's comment to notify whoever had posted that their reply wasn't showing. Which also did not display.
And now I am this far backed up the thread hoping this shows up…
Very well said, Mr. Burgard. As always, you make it crystal clear for any layman to understand.
So when does the purge of degenerate art begin? That would be any division of the arts that does not line up with the Obama administration's credos.
No just a tool period!
And it was the threat of the President taking control of the internet that makes me at least a bit sanguine about the USA's loss of control over the 'net. Probably, it's not a good thing one the whole, but with the Obama administration in charge, it is, at least temporarily, a bit safer for all of us.
Manufactured crises?
We all get together in Nov 2010 and vote these cult of malcontents out of office. We have to send the cultist that worship this sick ideology a message that they don't own this country and being elected to office is a privilege and not a birthright. We get rid of every incumbent that is up for re-election on both sides of the aisle and put in there people who are new and really want to change how congress works we can end all this insanity that have been going on.
We can kill this Obamacare, we make Obama a lame duck to the point he will get nothing done for two years. We then can repeal every bill Obama has passed, fix fanny and freddie, cut all taxes begin to get rid if the IRS and install the fair tax. We have to end this leftist cancer that feels all our money belongs to them and they just want more, and more and more. We as a nation must stand up to this nation of moochers, free loaders, slackers and their extortion racket they use to extort our hard earn money.
PsychicDice seems to be the victim of propaganda herself.
Although Rev. Wright may be guilty of race-baiting, there is no evidence of Wright's racism. (Anti-Zionism is not racism, nor is it even anti-Semitism. There are many anti-Zionist Jews.) Frank Marshall Davis fought racism all his life. He was married to a white woman who bore him five children.
By what definition are either of them "racist"? As they say on CSI: Follow the evidence!
Hate card? what is that? Does that mean I'm accusing you of hating Obama? But you do hate Obama , right? I mean the point of this thread is comparing him to the nazis right? Is'nt that hateful?
Oh and I could be wrong but I think "useful idiots" were people that the communists found easy to dupe and use for their ends. These days I would say an idiot might be someone who thinks a president that puts wall street types like Tim Geithner and Lawrence Summers in charge of financial policy is a marxist. In case you guys haven't noticed , the left wing people are pissed off at Obama too because he's too middle of the road for them.
Yet, if it is such an effective tool, why are we not using it?
Good Christ, dumbass, you're on a site that's all propaganda all the time run by a guy who writes propaganda for the Reverend Sun Myung-Moon.
The problem is not with the artists who do art, it's with the government who wants to pay them to do government art…….what the NEA and the Presidents men did was against the law, and they should answer for it…….the artists really have no part in this, other than being the tool for Washington insiders.
I'm so sick of all this crap….the President and all his advisers are the most incompetent, corrupt, unscrupulous,
group of men who could ever be brought together in one place. I think I'll just quit reading all this political junk and go back to loading ammo.
Then what are you going to do…………..sit home and allow the Dem candidates to win, or vote third/fringe party and allow the Dem candidates to win?
Don't be silly, there really ARE differences between the two major parties and what needs to be done, is to energize and retake take the GOP !
Obviously you are either completely ignorant of what F.M. Davis "taught" Obamaa, when he was a boy and of what Rev. Wright believes in, what the BLACK LIBERATION based credo is, which Rev Wright preached, and a great many other things as well.
In Obama's own bios, which he did NOT write, it is VERY clearly stated, what Davis believed and how he taught Barry to "put one over in whitey" !
Davis, Wright, and Obama are RACISTS of THE worst sort and the evidence is not only abundant, but overwhelming.
Have you been living under a rock, orf are you just a damned troll ?
NO! The Constitution affords no citizen any rights! The Constitution's sole purpose is a document from the people to the government vesting the government with its right. The Bill of Rights is a reminder to the government of the rights we reserve for ourselves which they SHALL NOT INFRINGE. We the People tell the Government what it can do, not the other way arround. The Constitution is from Us to Them, not the other way around.
My, my my! Both 1redcent and PsychicDice have very active imaginations. Now, however, it's time to put up or shut up with primary source evidence, not specious speculation from reactionary bloggers.
I have read "Dreams" and challenge you to produce any such passages. Here is an extract of the "Dreams" segments concerning Frank: http://cletuswilbury.newsvine.com/_news/2008/04/2... You may also find the complete text of "dreams" here: http://issuu.com/xinyangge/docs/obama_barack_-_dr... What are the exact quotes where he "taught Barry to "put one over on whitey"? What are the exact quotes that prove he was a racist?
"Truth is generally the best vindication against slander." – Abraham Lincoln
I have also read extracts of Wright's speeches, and challenge you to produce any "racist" quotations.
Where is your proof? Please reply right here. The proof is in the pudding. Once again, by what creative definition is your quote "racist"? Did either of them advocate treating people differently based on race?
You will be unable to find any proof of Davis's alleged "racism," and unlikely to find any for Wright. You have been hoodwinked, and live in a Right-Wing fantasyland where you are unable to distinguish between disinformation and the truth. My condolences!
Jumping to conclusions seems to be quite common in the fantasyland of the right-wing blogosphere. When asked to substantiate their conclusions, we may encounter bluster, red herrings, and ad hominem attacks more often than rational, focused answers. Military Intelligence students are quickly disabused of such behavior, and learn the value of supporting every conclusion they proffer. Researchers at the Rand Corporation and other highly regarded research institutions often come from such rigorous backgrounds, where conclusions are based on empirical evidence, rather than wishful thinking.
"Have patience awhile; slanders are not long-lived. Truth is the child of > time; erelong she shall appear to vindicate thee." – Immanuel Kant
1redcent,
Thank you. Black Liberation ideology can't be read any other way than racist.
I've listened to Fararakan’s stooges proselytize in Times Square. He is not a man I would ever shake hands with, but Wright and B. Hussein O. Jr. have.
It would be fun to watch both Farrakhan and Wright in the same room trying to out “God Damn America” each other; Farrakhan with his half-assed, precious “cultured” black style and Wright going for the Southern Hellfire black reverend via the Marines approach.
Please provide a "racist" DIRECT QUOTE from Rev. Wright. Racism advocates treating people differently based on race (racial discrimination), or belief in racial superiority (racial prejudice) Don't confuse race-baiting with racism.
Such rhetorical deception was highlighted in the story of Alice's adventures in "Through The Looking-Glass":
"When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone. "It means just what I choose it to mean – neither more or less."
"The question is," said Alice, "whether you can make words mean so many different things."
"The question is," said Humpty Dumpty, "which is to be master – that's all."
- Lewis Carroll
English author & recreational mathematician (1832 – 1898)
You will likely find that "everybody knows" these right-wing claims just as "everybody knew" that Iraqi kept stockpiles of WMD. In both cases, counterfeit threats were fabricated through disinformation campaigns.
Either you are lying about having read the Bill Ayers written "Dreams….", which Barry did NOT write, but supplied some notes for, or your abject lack of reading comprehension skills are far worse than even I assume them to be.
Davis coached little Barry how to act in a certain way, so as to not put off "whitey", whilst still retaining all of his rage against them. There are many such examples, in Barry's books, which you need to get others to point out to you, I guess.
You want examples from Rev Wright? What……..you've not listened to enough of that hate monger? Oh yes, I see, as with Barry's books, you are apparently incapable of understanding the written and spoken English word. You poor thing……………………………………………….
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm…..how about the Rev's ridiculous accusation that the government ( whites ) have forced blacks to take illegal drugs ( dope ), that the government invented AIDS to kill off blacks ( which, FYI…..is a Louis Farrakhan/NOI crazy statement ), and talked about pledging alliegiance to back leaders who have taken an oath to uphold what Wright has made up as supposed black values ?
There really is a lot more and I suggest that you get someone to explain it all to you……..I don't suffer fools and refuse to be your teacher any longer.
You're welcome!
It's patently obvious that the poster calling us out, is a troll and/or an Obamabot who is so blinkered, that no amount of fact will ever pierce the veil of stupidity; sadly.
Rev Wright is crazy about screwy Louis Farrakhan and has not only honored him, many times over, in his church, but featured him on a number of church magazine covers……………a couple of them with Farrakhan AND Obama sharing the cover.
Anyone, ANYONE, who thinks that Farrakhan is a "great" person, is not only nuts, but someone everyone else needs to be concerned about!
Sorry, 1redcent, but those examples from Wright do not meet the definition of "racism." His behavior is race-baiting, not racism. Race-baiting is the false attribution of racial motives to others, such as Wright attributed the origin of AIDS.. Back to the dictionary, sweetheart!
Racism is either racial discrimination (treating people differently based on race) or racial prejudice (value judgments based on race).
"Coaching Barry to act a certain way" is not racism, sweetheat. Back to the dictionary! Let's not make up our own definitions, like Humpty Dumpty did.
Once again: Please provide actual QUOTATIONS that substantiate your claim of racism for either Wright or Davis.
Far be it from me to imply a Reichstag moment will occur. But still, should such an event take place, I hope there are enough of those thinking clearly to stop any pre-planned "spontaneous" government crack down. No one has repealed HR 5122 or its long list of supporting bills.
Are you forgetting the 600 lbs of yellow cake that Sadam was refusing to let the UN inspect that was confiscated and removed to (I believe) Alabama?
Are you forgetting the 600 tons of yellow cake that Sadam was refusing to let the UN inspect?
Kaleokualoha at best makes assumptions, but more likely is presumptuous. In the first post Kaleokualoha refers to me as a “she,” when all that had to be done was a click on my name and locate my Facebook Profile. It’s not rocket science.
Kaleokualoha presents a Yakity-yak, don’t talk back Leftist slant to silence opposition. In this case, this poster wants to discredit anyone who points out B. Hussein O. Jr.’s underlying racism because it is not Kaleokualoha’s party line.
Rhetorically, in the first post, he tries to identify into the power of CSI logic and in the next the irony/sarcasm of Alice In Wonderland. Personally, I prefer Kaiser Sose: "The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't exist."
Kaleokualoha also lacks clarity, saying: “Don't confuse race-baiting with racism.” What is that supposed to mean? Are the Blacks the race-baiters or the Whites? I can’t quite put it together right now, but there is a joke here that mentions the Oliver Twist character Master Bates.
"Kaleokualoha's party line"? The American Heritage Dictionary entry on "racism": "The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others. Discrimination or prejudice based on race."
This is different from race-baiting: "implying that there is an underlying race-based motive in the actions of others towards the group baited, where none in fact exists."
Although it may be too sophisticated for PsychicDice, let's use standard definitions rather than making them up, OK? Do you understand the difference between race-baiting and racism now?
Rev Wright implied there is an underlying race-based motive in the actions of others towards the group baited, where none in fact exists, in his claim about the US Government and AIDS.
Once again: Please provide DIRECT QUOTATIONS to support your claims. The burden of proof is on the accuser.
"sweetheat"? What on earth is that supposed to mean ?
Get off your high horse, and stop picking nits ! you've long ago exposed yourself as a blinkered, arrogant, Kool-Aid drinking Obamabot and in spades!
Here's a clue, oh clueless one…………..RACE BAITERS ARE RACISTS; no ifs, ands, or buts about it ! You asked for concrete examples, I provided you with a few ( I could easily have posted many more ! ), you didn't imagine that that was possible and when faced with proof, are now trying, UNSUCCESSFULLY, to weasel out of it.
Your pusillanimous superciliousness is your "cover" for being wrong and knowing it; sweetums. You can't get out of being "caught", no matter how many further stupid posts you make, so just drop it and slink away……………………..you poltroon!
First off, you forgot to deal with your presumptuousness as well as the yellow cake, an easy to use WMD.
I know what the dictionary definition of racism and race-bating are. What I questioned was which side you were referencing as race-baiting. Possibly you require glasses or more sophistication to understand that.
Obviously by (your definition) Wright was race-bating to scapegoat Whites. That is pure racism.
You are also still working in the area of the Oliver Twist character Master Bates.
The poor lefty has been caught in his/her own trap and now is unable to extricate him/herself. By starting with a fallacious, not to mention cockeyed assumption, then faced with the *shocking* proof, has retreated to game/word playing; the refuge of a fraud and a coward.
As long as you are using Dickensian allusions, then please allow me to add Uriah Heap, as yet another of Kaleokualoha's alter egos and that of Bumble, the Beadle, in Oliver Twist.
Of course, if this lefty should prove to be a female, there are tons of other fictional characters who would apply as well.
You are a demanding prick, aren't you? You'll get what I give you.
Nearly every intelligence agency said that Iraq had WMDs. If we erred, it was in our favor.
A great deal of misinformation about Iraq came out of France and Germany. Europeans were more interested in keeping the oil flowing than they were in protecting themselves. France also had and has a huge Muslim population that they fear. At the time Schroeder, the German Socialist, who had 20% unemployment did his best to scapegoat the US. If you are really interested in disinformation, you need to look at those issues.
WMD’s weren’t the only reason for the war. I am not going to do your work for you, but you can easily find the document that lists them, including the 8 attacks on the USA by Muslims in the previous 15 years, going back to the Saudi bombing.
A factor that you won’t find in that list is the Oklahoma City bombing which was investigated by Jayna Davis for several years. She discovered that McVeigh was controlled by Saddam Hussein and Nichols by Al Qaeda. The FBI for a number of years refused her signed witness documents. When they finally took them, they got lost. Davis also blames both parties high up in the Feds.
Davis was an Oklahoma City TV reporter who was on the scene within minutes of the explosion. She has 5 witnesses who put McVeigh and Hussein’s intelligence officer together days before and during the bombing, one of them in the Ryder truck. At the time, the buck stopped with Clinton and he didn’t have the basic honesty or balls to do what was necessary. Bush wasn’t so limp wristed.
I won’t talk to you about any of this until you have researched Davis’ book The Third Terrorist.
Kaleokualoha attempts to control the argument by claiming that to make my point, I have to locate B. Hussein O. Jr.’s public pronouncements agreeing with the “Honorable” Elijah Mohammad that Devil created the White man. Looking at pics of one of his Farrakhan handshake says it all.
One of my favorite writers Kyle-Anne Shiver says (http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/03/knowing_ob... “Obama had nothing negative to say about Wright's honorific celebration of Louis Farrakhan until he was pressured repeatedly by the press and aggressively in a debate with his political opponent, Hillary Clinton. Even then, Obama persistently referred to Farrakhan with an honorific title: "Minister Farrakhan."
Louis Farrakhan likes being compared to Adolph Hitler, saying Hitler was a great man. Jeremiah Wright says Farrakhan will be known "as one of the 20th and 21st century giants of the African-American religious experience" and has praised his "integrity and honesty."
How about B. Hussein O. Jr’s proclamation that Officer Crowley acted “stupidly” when he checked up to make sure that no one was burglarizing the Black Professor Gates’ home? That was obvious, pure racism. (http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/07/obamas_a_r...
According to Shiver (http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/01/obama_hill... “I visited Trinity United Church of Christ last weekend, and witnessed for myself the ubiquitous Afro-Centric message of Pastor Wright. It's everywhere.
The Church's book store has a wide range of spiritual books, not necessarily all Christian, but seemingly all written by African-Americans, including Malcolm X and Nation of Islam luminaries. In fact, the only standard seemingly applied to the array of books for sale in Obama's church is that they be written from an African perspective.”
I don’t expect to ever get Wright saying to B. Hussein O. Jr. on YouTube how he planned to brainwash their flock with Black Liberation Theology, but this reeks of racism.
Then there’s Sotomayer claiming that her experience as a Latina female made her more qualified than a White man. That was racist and so was the racist B. Hussein O. Jr. when he refused to withdraw her nomination to the Supreme Court.
This doesn’t end. I could spend the next three weeks, at least, tracking down the overt and tacit racism of nearly everyone B. Hussein. O. Jr. knows, including his wife.
Your argument is something like you trying to get me on the record laughing about how using the Master Bates reference, I was calling you a jerk-off. But I promise you from the bottom of my heart that that is not what I meant and that nothing you ever do will be able to prove it.
First of all, yellow cake is not a WMD. It is uranium ore:
"While yellowcake alone is not considered potent enough for a so-called "dirty bomb" — a conventional explosive that disperses radioactive material — it could stir widespread panic if incorporated in a blast. Yellowcake also can be enriched for use in reactors and, at higher levels, nuclear weapons using sophisticated equipment."
There were no WMD stockpiles when Iraq was invaded. This was confirmed by the United Nations before the invasion, and by the United States Government after the invasion. Case closed.
I am not referencing any "side" as race-baiting. Rev Wright race-baited with his AIDs claims. Conservatives race-baited Frank Marshall Davis with their "racism" claims against him. Those who accuse ANYONE (right, left, or middle) of racism without compelling evidence is race-baiting, including YOU!
Falsely accusing someone of racism is not itself racism, and more than falsely accusing someone of Marxism is not itself Marxism. Race-baiting does not fulfill the DEFINITION of racism, just as red-baiting does not fulfill the DEFINITION of Marxism. It is the process of making such unsubstantiated accusations that is "baiting." Is this too difficult to comprehend?
Once again: Please provide primary source evidence that meets the DEFINITION of racism, such as their actual quotations. Show that either Wright or Ayers supported treating people differently based on race (racial discrimination) or believed in racial superiority (prejudice). Although race-baiters MAY also be racists, race-baiting is neither necessary nor sufficient for "racism."
Back to Science 101. Yellowcake is not a weapon. Yellowcake is an ore that may become a weapon. The Bush administration misrepresented the Iraqi threat presented in the NIE, and misrepresented ties between Iraq and Al Qaeda, according to the Senate Intelligence Committee.
True, the National Intelligence Estimate said Iraq had WMDs. The Bush administration, however, misrepresented the NIE to enhance its case against Iraq. I don't mind doing your homework for you: http://intelligence.senate.gov/press/record.cfm?i...
Bush also convinced Americans that Iraq was responsible for 9/11 through deception.
Untrue. All you have to do is produce Wright's quotations that meet the definition of "racism." I'm sure there is enough on record for you to go on. Anything else is speculation. Good luck!
Farrakhan is undoubtedly a racist through his own words. Neither tolerating racism nor race-baiting meets the definition of "racism." Association with racists suggests poor judgment, not racism. A subject's behavior, per se, is the only compelling evidence. Guilt-by-association doesn't work very well outside police states.
Sorry, but saying someone acted stupidly does not meet the definition of "racism." Are you speculating, without compelling evidence, that Obama's comment was motivated by racism? THAT meets the definition of race-baiting!
In case you are not paying attention: Unsubstantiated claims of racism are race-baiting. Treating people differently based on race, or belief in racial superiority, is racism. Not too difficult to understand, is it?
Sorry Bubba, but your statement is untrue. Once again, you have jumped to conclusions. She said "I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life".
Please note that she did not say that she is more qualified, only that she HOPED a wise Latina woman can reach a better decision.
If she had categorically said that Latinas are more qualified, it would have been racist. If she had just said that WISE Latinas are better qualified than NOT-AS-WISE whites, it would not have been racist, because it advocates neither racial superiority (prejudice) or differential treatment (discrimination).
Read the dictionary. Follow the evidence!
Further a careful reading indicates that she is comparing the richness of a wise Latina's experiences to "a white male who hasn't lived that experience." She must be referring to all White men since absolutely none of them have ever lived the life of an Hispanic female.
She is saying that she is more qualified than every White man. That is pure racism.
Your "logic" falls apart on a numer of levels. A TRULY careful reading reveals that she HOPED the Latina can reach better conclusions.
1. She did not say that Latinas WILL reach better conclusions. A hope is not a declaration of fact.
2. She spoke of "wise Latina." She not not speak of ALL Latinas.
3. She did not even say that SHE is a wise Latina. She did not say she is anything in this statement.
If you erase all of the qualifiers from her statement AND make certain assumptions, then your inference would be true. In the same respect, if frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their asses when they jumped.
As it is, though, you must evaluate statements as they are actually presented, including qualifiers. For example: The Iraq NIE contained numerous qualifiers about WMD. The Bush administration misrepresented the NIE by saying "there is no doubt" Iraq had WMD. Such misrepresentation either by the Bush administration regarding the NIE, or by you regarding the Sotomayor statement, is dishonest.
"If she isn't making a direct comparison between Hispanic women and White males, why does she mention each?"
She is making a comparison between SOME Latinas and whites, not a categorical comparison. The statement did not mention herself at all. Do you need the definition again?
You can always speculate as to motive, but accusations should be based on empirical evidence.
BTW: All caps is "screaming." Capitalizing one word is done for emphasis.
LOL!!
Yes, I have to quit this nonsense. I wasted a good part of the day and need to write only if I can eventualy get paid for it.
Enough of this. Back to work.
TY
The patently ridiculous posts of the supercilious, pompous, KOOL-Aid sycophant, who imagines that he/she is far more intelligent than you and I, is really a waste of our time to respond to, but it has been fun to show that poster up. Hope we bump intgo each other, here, again…………..we do work well together.

That hair splitting isn't working !
Rev Wright did far more than just "associate" with Louis Farrakhan………….he featured him on the front covers of Trinity Church's magazine, had many a GLOWING article about him inside said magazine, had him give speeches at the church, and gave him some sort of medal and honors. Rev Wright also sent many of his male parishioners to D.C., INCLUDING OBAMA, for screwy Louis "MILLION ( it never even reached 1/2 a million and that was including children ! ) MAN MARCH !
If all of THAT isn't enough "proof" for you, then NOTHING will ever reach your level or requirements.
Don't forget that shed has made that statement many times over; not just once. It was part of her set speeches.
Add to that, she worked for a Puerto Rican group that is similar to LA RAZA, WHICH MOST ASSUREDLY is kinda of a racist organization, except that there is no such thing as an Hispanic race!
None of that matters. They could have been gay lovers for decades, but that would still be guilt-by-association. The degree of association is irrelevant.
Attitudes do not transmit between people by osmosis. To not only assume that people internalize values of ANYONE through proximity, but then to also accuse people of internalizing their associates' values is presumptuous to the extreme. It has no place in serious investigatory journalism.
Do you understand the concept of "primary source" evidence? "My" level of requirement would be met by quotations rather than speculation. There are NO quotes presented that prove racism on the part of Wright or Davis, unlike Minister Farrakhan.
To misrepresent speculation as fact is dishonest. To accuse someone of any offense based on such speculation is a serious breach of integrity.
