There it is!
by Ben Shapiro“Those who saw the signs of hatred, I think it is a good time for those who voted against gay marriage to contemplate their great shame and the shame in their grandchildren’s eyes. We need to have equal rights for everyone.”
Way to win over the opposition, Sean. And you can go to hell, you sanctimonious whiner. Perhaps in your magical little world, speaking to your best friends who already believe in gay marriage about gay marriage counts as courage. Perhaps in your magical little world, hanging out with Saddam and Chavez counts as courage, when they whisk you around town in limos while their citizens are murdered in secret prisons. Out here, the rest of us think you’re just preaching to the crowd, and that you’re an offensive political hack to boot — and not just that, you enable dictators who are guilty of human rights abuses of the worst sort. Nobody gets to get on their high horse about marriage after marrying Madonna.

bravo
Ben I am very glad you don;t have any strong opinions o the subject!
You only forgot to mention the sub-basement level IQ Penn has.
Right on.
yea! shouldnt Penn feel the shame of hanging out with Hugo Chavez? cant stand him and i really do love that i am sam movie but i cant support him anymore. maybe i should go reflect on my shame now. lol
Ben, preach it like it needs to be preached! Loved it. At least Penn is honest. The crowd in H'wood are all a bunch of commie homo lovers. Or is that homo commie lovers? No matter. Penn can go choke on a grape. Super Classy!!
"I think it is a good time for those who voted against gay marriage to contemplate their great shame and the shame in their grandchildren’s eyes."
Oh, you mean Catholic Mexicans, sean? the same people that voted overwhelmingly for Obama? Sean really does like it both ways, eh?
here's the pitch…swung on and BELTED to deep center field…it's going…going…GONE!! A grand slam home run!
nice job, Ben… way to take us out with a little reality check on the good Mr. Penn. I was friends with his brother Chris, God rest his soul…but you nailed it as to the DAMAGE this cretin does this country on a daily basis.
I've just been writing up a little mini-review of "Oliver Twist" (see link in my signature [/shameless plug]), and it's made me wistful. How we need a Dickens nowadays. He would have slaughtered Penn and all other self-righteous Hollywood drips with just a few strokes of his pen.
Ben,
you nailed it!
They don't want me in their bedroom but they insist on being in mine? I just don't get it. Civil union isn't traditional enough to replace a marriage license? I'm sorry if your history is a goat and ours is written. Difference is supposed to be celebrated. So go do something different and leave me alone.
Thank you! Best post all night.
You tell him, Ben!!! Wahoo!!
Well said, Ben. When 90 year old Robert DeNiro proclaimed Penn, 'a GREAT HUMAN BEING.' I nearly barfed! Penn's the biggest douche in Hollywood and that's saying something. That tool should go preach about gay marriage in the black communities that overwhelmingly voted for Prop 8! Now THAT would take courage. Being used by Chavez is easy!
I think everyone should make a donation to the Thomas More Law Center in the name of
Sean Pean for the defense of Proposition 8 which is of course undergoing a legal battle
right now. Thomas More sure needs the money to defend Proposition 8 against the big
bucks of Penn and his self-congratulatory ilk.
People can think whatever they want about 'gay' marriage, but man, I really want to punch that miserable Penn right in his pretentious mouth. I am so sick of having these people trying to judge the rest of us.
Wait…. Shame? I thought shame was passé? That it went out with poodle skirts and the sanctity of marriage.
Kids who have kids out of wedlock aren't supposed to feel shame. Or dads who bravely break free of their kids and wife to go get a sex change, or moms who kill their babies. I didn't think "shame" was a part of the Left's vocabulary. I thought it had been cuddled out of our schools and Oprah'd out of our marriages.
I thought "shame" was judgmental, that it led someone to feel negatively about themselves, that it required a moral standard. That it was an imposition of my beliefs upon someone else.
Wow. So "shame" is back in now. Hooda thunk.
Sorry, guys, but you're going to lose this. Gay marriage is coming, either deal with it or become more irrelevant.
Erasmus,
Become more relevant? You mean like, become the overwhelming majority on the issue? I'm pretty sure we're there. Check it out; almost ALL of the minorities who voted for Obama, voted for Prop 8. Politically incorrect to point that out, but it's true. Just because the intellectually dishonest left blames the Mormons rather than Latinos and Blacks, doesn't make it true.
Way to say it Ben! Keep it up! I am a white married to one man, women! I am tired of being "accused" for both!
shame in their grandchildren’s eyes
That, coming from a guy whose father essentially took orders from Stalin…
(Leo Penn advocated U.S. neutrality when the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact was in effect, but urged America to enter the war once Hitler violated the pact and threatened the Soviet Union).
Fruit doesn't fall far from the tree.
Mr. Shapiro, I thought I was the only one that caught that! I can't believe the applause by the Hollywood C/H Clan, You are for sure a patriot! I'm wondering if it will be GQ or chick to now call them Commie Homo Lovers? I guess what bothers me the most is that they believe they will change my beliefs or ideals with their movies. Instead I just add them to my list "black" list. (No slur indended) I believe Alan Keyes and you both hit the same note on the same day! Great Job!

Bam!
Funny thing is the gays I know DON'T want to get married! Why? Because marriage represents the "traditional" world they have rejected their entire lives!
Oh, and "Poison" Penn: why should gays be given the "right" to marry (which is not a "right" but a privilege sanctioned by the state), but not polygamists or blood relatives or you and that rug on your pinhead?
