By comparison, then, George Bush and wife, Laura, going home to a private ranch utterly out of the public limelight is appreciable. They made recurring trips for purposes of privacym, to maintain normalacy in their lives and with their relations, to meet privately and more casually with other world leaders (reduces media pressure and makes for a far more enjoyable visit by others) and to generally recreate in some degree of normalacy while maintaining Presidential management issues with full technology present in Crawford. Same with the Reagans.

I think EVERYone knows by now that the Obamas' definition of "entertainment" is having people SEE THEM. They make APPEARANCES as public and as excessive as possible for self-promotional purposes.
If what Barack actually wanted was a romantic date night with his wife, and the wife with her husband, they'd have gone somewhere private and romantic. Not do yet another big-do complete with planes, photogs, security and the public lining the streets that the two of them strive to generate.

The costs associated are the least of their concerns. They seem entirely focused on, concerneda about, just how many people SEE THEM being celebrity. Which also explains Michelle Obama's ghastly appearance as to dressing, it's her going, "look at me, loooook at MEEEEEE." Bad taste.

And all those "Wall Street" people (those "greedy big business" people according to the Left) are by majority who voted for Obama, Democrats. Many Democrats are present amidst all that "greed" by
"Wall Street." The Left just wants everyone to believe that being involved in "money" is something only Republicans do. Wall Streeet is predominantly Democrat versus the private investor who tend to be majority Republican, at least not Leftwing.
