Time to Get Mad as Hell
by Burt PrelutskyFrankly, I’m beginning to feel a lot like Howard Beale, the character portrayed by Peter Finch in the 1976 release, “Network.” He insisted that people get up right now and go to the window, open it, stick their heads out and yell, “I’m as mad as hell, and I’m not going to take it anymore!”
I’ve always heard that misery loves company. If true, misery in America has more company these days than it knows what do with.
I realize that conservatives have felt this way ever since the Democrats nominated the Chicago crony of Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Tony Rezko, Rod Blagojevich and the assorted felons at ACORN, to be our president, but why aren’t millions of honest, decent, hard-working Democrats up in arms? I can guarantee that if a Republican president had done half the things that Obama has pulled off in his first half year, most of us on the right would be calling for his head. At the very least, none of us would be kissing his heinie.
Even before grabbing up car companies and banks, he got the ball rolling with a trillion dollar, 1100-page pork-filled stimulus package that had to be passed, he insisted, within a few short hours or America was going to be turned into a pumpkin. Well, without anyone having had time to read anything but the price tag, it was passed into law. Obama then took his own sweet time signing it. In the months since its passage, the unemployment rate has soared, entire states are going belly up and, apparently, nobody seems to know what happened to the money.
Then there’s the Waxman-Markey cap and trade bill, which started out in life at a thousand pages, and then had a 300-page amendment tacked on to it in the dead of night. It was as if Dr. Frankenstein, after carefully inspecting his nightmarish creation, decided that what the monster really needed was a second head and a hunchback. Again, nobody had time to read the bill, but that didn’t prevent 219 congressmen, including eight Republicans who scurried out from under a rock just long enough to make certain that Christmas, or perhaps I mean Ramadan, would come early for the President.
As I recall, when he was a candidate, Obama assured us that taxes would be decreased for 95% of all Americans. Inasmuch as the Heritage Foundation estimates that the cap and trade bill will wind up costing the average middle class taxpayer nearly $3,000 in additional energy costs, I guess a tax isn’t a tax if you don’t call it one. Of course Obama and Al Gore and their liberal lackeys don’t mention the jobs that people in the oil and coal industries will lose while we’re busily building windmills. Perhaps those folks who were formerly occupied supplying the wherewithal so that America could continue to be a major industrial nation can be hired to stand around and generate energy by blowing at the windmills.
Maybe what Obama meant when he claimed we’d be paying less in taxes was that we’d all be on the dole before the next election rolled around.
During the campaign, when Obama vowed that, if elected, he would create or save four million jobs, I speculated that he meant that if at some point there were four million Americans who were still working, he could say he’d kept his campaign promise. I swear I meant it as a joke.
Inasmuch as Obama seems to be doing all he can to turn America into a left-wing third world nation, it stands to reason that he was far more perturbed by a military coup in Honduras than by innocent blood being spilled in the streets after a rigged election in Iran.
It’s amazing, if you stop and think about it, that George H.W. Bush lost his bid for re-election because he was goofy enough to say, “Read my lips…no new taxes,” but Obama does his level best to bankrupt America and destroy the middle class, and yet continues to ride nearly as high in the popularity polls as Michael Jackson. Imagine if the man could moonwalk.
But, I guess a lot of us who find ourselves going down the financial drain don’t really mind so long as we can watch Prince Obama and his princess holding hands on their $250,000 date night in New York City.
It’s almost enough to make a person pity Bernard Madoff. That poor shmuck got a 150-year prison sentence, and he only screwed Americans out of about 65 billion dollars.

Right there with ya, Burt.
Now if our 'journalists' would wake up and report THE TRUTH- maybe more Americans would realize what exactly is bein' done to'em.
Don't you recognize a Fascist/Collectivist takeover when you see one?
78% of Americans recently polled couldn't name the current Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. They sent Stuart Smalley to the U.S. Senate. They're crying on camera over the death of a deranged celebrity pedophile.
We pretty much have the government we deserve, although I do grieve for what America used to be.
I'm frankly kind of encouraged that Obama's approval rating has finally dropped below 60%.
Maybe I'm just being optimistic, but I think the anger and backlash is already here. In 2006 and 2008, Democrats had the anger built up over six to eight years. By going so far left so fast and displaying incredible arrogance in doing so, this administration is setting itself up for a similar backlash. Yes, we don't have the so-called main stream media to help, but they are becoming less relevant by the day. Now is the time to start identifying good candidates for both the house and the senate and supporting the heck out of them, though.
When wondering why Democrats put up with Obama's excesses, I'm reminded of something Ann Coulter once said in an interview, concerning liberals (I'm paraphrasing here): these are people who believe that half-delivering a baby, poking a hole in its skull with a steel rod, then sucking its brains out with a vacuum hose, can be defined as "exercising a constitutional right." These are the same people who believe that a sick, drug-addicted pedophile was "The King of Pop." They're really awful people, aren't they? They're also the people who believed that a president who took his mandate to defend our security (i.e., GW Bush) was the equivalent of Hitler. They're sad, deluded people, and it's up to the rest of us to remember that and not take them seriously. I think we're best when we stick to what we do best: working hard, caring for our loved ones, and not putting our faith in princes. Never worry about people who's true poverty lies in their lack of moral capital. As someone once said, the poor you always have with you.
in america the only president we have is… apathy. o was not elected apathy was. the republicans did not lose to the democrats. they lost to apathy. why try when no matter what you do you lose. no matter how much you try to make things better you fail.
Great post Burt! Blowing at windmills, that’s a great liberal job except for the CO2’s they would be exhaling, you know “global warming.” Perhaps several million liberals could just hold their breaths, or at least skip a breath? His polls are dropping …hahaha… I’m so excited about 2010 I think I’ll vote twice. Hey by the way, how’s that “hope and change” working out for you?
You rascally old Scottish golfer, you. It is discouraging although polls can be such drivel. Usually, the people who can't identify the Chief Justice don't know where their polling place is. Obama brought out a lot of folks who don't normally vote. The biggest concern I have is with Dem.'s stealing elections, registering dead cats to vote, and passing legislation to permit illegal alien teens to vote by "texting." To use your analogy, it is the equivalent of "lift, clean, and cheat" in golf.
Voting is a privilege, and with the exception of invalids, I don't think it should be made quite so easy to do.
The sad fact of the matter is with this past election, there are simply more politically uniformed voters than there are informed ones. Democrats / Liberals want to be lied to, so long as it is packaged in a pretty, articulate, rhetoric filled speech they just don't care, because it is the words alone that make them feel virtuous, not the actual meaning or intent behind them.
Elections in this country now have little or nothing to do with what is best for America and Americans, but more a matter of having your side win. I was astonished that so many older experienced voters were looking to a politician for "Hope and Change". And yet they did, with seemingly blind unquestioning devotion. But that is the true "Audacity of Hope" it makes you abandon your natural tendency towards rational intelligent reasoning in spite of glaring warning signs that the message doesn't really match the actions.
The worst part is that I don't see anything changing anytime soon so long as those in the MSM keep ignoring the facts and portraying Obama in nothing less than a radiant messianic light.
The blush is coming off the rose. More and more people are awakening to the fact that Obama is destroying America and what it stands for. Let us hope that the midterms come into play before he does irreversible damage.
Personally I am marking off each day to 2012 – Just talked with my cousin who is from WV – told her that I'll bet a lot of those WV coal miners have buyer's remorse for voting in a guy who is trying to eliminate their jobs -
The far more revealing scene from the movie is this one – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BVqIjKyJh0 – and Bush subscribes to Arthur Jensen's POV just as much as Obama does (even more so, they hope to get rid of the dollar and replace it with a one-world currency).
These companies are getting tons of money – they are calling the shots. You don't have to be worried about government taking them over – it is the other way around.
Oh, and the elections in Iran were as honest as the ones here. The CIA and Mossad attempted a coup by mob rule (like they did in '53 with Operation Ajax)
I've been waiting for Burt's latest, and it is a beaut! You are correct, sir, thought the same about Martha Stewart's prison time. The Kenyan is bankrupting this nation, at the same time extravagantly wining and dining the arrogant wife all over the world, on our dime!!! Can't stand these people, can't believe how little people I know care about what's happening to this country.
And hate that tea parties that were in how many states, got no coverage! Michael Creepster Jackson trumps all (and didn't we all enjoy Jamie Foxx's racist rantings.. nary a word of criticism for him either..).
Sorry
Too Late
SCOTUS is a bell that can not be unrung
And we all know that the Constitution is a Racist document that has no place in todays politics.
Every action Hussein Obama has made has been unconstitutional
And the new SCOTUS will use the acts of Obama as Precedent and inline with International law
I am not even a lawyer and can see how this is unfolding
Dear Readers: I am hardly cut out for the role of Pollyanna. But even I take heart when an old leftist loony like Helen Thomas turns on the current administration and a political turncoat like Colin Powell suggests that Obama and the Democrats are expanding the national debt and the federal government at a dangerous rate.
I have come to believe that Obama is moving everything along at an insanely accelerated rate because he senses that the voters are going to wake up by election time in 2010, and he wants to make certain his agenda is cemented in place by then. As we all know, once Washington bureaucracies and policies have been enacted, nothing short of a nuclear bomb can get rid of them.
Regards, Burt Prelutsky
Yeah, and right after journalists started practicing journalism, green winged monkeys might fly out all our butts.
Give it up — most Americans want it done to 'em, if only it helps them feel they've gotten even with "us".
"Now if our 'journalists' would wake up and report THE TRUTH- maybe more Americans would realize what exactly is bein' done to'em."
Unfortunately the 'journalists' are awake and actively participating in turning the US into a Third-World country.
The Leftists were smart enough to know they could not take America by violence, so they did it by infiltrating first the bureaucracy (McCarthy was right), then the media (propaganda), then education (brainwashing) and then, by manipulating the three non elected branches of government, got us voters to hand them the House, Senate and Presidency which then gives them the judiciary. It it weren't so horrifying, it would be a thing of beauty.
We're already at the "mad as hell" stage. A little more time and we'll be at the "Not going to take it anymore" stage.
My guess is that stage will be apparent to all come November 2010.
Ding Ding Ding !
Give the man a cupie doll !
Hussein Obama is too far left for the hardest core libs says alot !
And we are gonna suffer Big
You forget the millions being funded into ACORN to "get out the vote".
You forget that Holder says it's okay for Black Panthers to stand outside voting booths to intimidate white voters.
You forget that Holder said GA can't purge the dead people from their voter rolls.
You forget that Ted Stevens was indicted just before the election and once the Dem got the seat, the charges dropped. The Dem is now the AK state senator for at least six years.
You forget that Sarah Palin is $500,000 in debt from fighting off ethics charges once she became a threat to the Democratic Party.
You forget that Norm Coleman was ahead in MN after the election but they selectively recounted votes until Franken won.
You forget the Dems did the same thing in Washington State four years ago.
You forget they tried it in FLA and the fact Bush wouldn't give in made them and their media lapdogs destroy his presidency.
We are a one party country now, just like Russia, Zimbabwe, Cuba, Venezuela and Iran.

We have a "People" magazine government. Democrats lost their party to socialist and leftist wackos in the mid-sixties, there is no hope for that self serving garbage dump of peopke and ideas. They would be marginalized but for the aiding and abetting of the Main Stream Media…there are no journalist left for the most part, just ignorant cheerleaders.
I hope you are right, Joelim-one of their goals is to anger and to discourage us so that we cannot shoot straight.
"Keep your head when all about you are losing theirs"
Keep your head on your shoulders, man!
For God's sake, let's get mad at the right people for the right reasons!
The signs are there. Even Colin Powell has started to question things. Along with Helen Thomas.
I am extremely hopeful since Palin quit her day job in Alaska.
Unless you regain control of the nomination process (AIPAC currently controlls it) then you will just be given the same false choice you had last time between two Zionist globalists who can't export jobs fast enough. Wake up.
Damn! I was just about to go out and enjoy this beautiful sunny afternoon and now I'm all pissed off!
Don't fret Burt. I know it's not cool to shoot the messenger…
I still love ya. When you're right…you're right.
Man, I was so close to havin' a good day.
Racial guilt anyone????
C'mon, the libs and other assorted middle of the road Dems would have to take the pipe before they turn on the Messiah.. They have been waiting years and years for this dream to happen.
To bad its our nightmare.
yeah it sure is easy to think that way. I'm just not willing to give up quite yet.
I saw that about Powell. Once these types (Powell and Thomas) feel the spotlight receding from them and realizing its a cult of power there may be a reaction against it. The sheer ego-anger they they feel.
I am still very worried b/c you could see the Palin event in many different lights still.
Also, I don't know if or how many people are being bullied or "gun to the head" behind the scenes. Eg. Haven't heard from those mouthy Clintons lately. She had her arm twisted, er, I mean she broke her arm. ha-ha *dark laugh*
it had to be said. tx.
"Haven't heard from those mouthy Clintons lately."
And the world is falling apart at every corner (Nkorea,Iran,…) and Honduras is taking a stand like us American used to.
And Clinton has been sidelined ?
Biden has been on the world stage more than Clinton, what's up with that ?
BREAKING NEWS!!
Obama's got all the answers! At a recent town hall meeting, the Obama administration dictated a "final solution" to the current housing crisis in the US.
All details can be found here:
http://velveetaelvis.com/Breaking_News_.html
Palin? I am grinning as I write this. I have read several versions of what she meant with her impending resignation. Well…….., the ones who are against it and trash it the most are either liberal pundits or people who have an axe to grind against Palin. The ones for it, are people who feel that she is wasted up in Alaska.
Once she is out of office, she becomes a regular citizen and can sue for defamation of character.
What was it Reverend Wright said? The chickens have come home to roost.

You're right, of course. Giving up is not the right thing to do. I'm simply saying that supporting and voting for politicians in the minority party might not do it. In my opinion, those opposed to the Obamatization of America should attack the source of his power — the propaganda media. How to do that is the difficulty. I think the middle and the right ought to use boycotts more – boycott the advertisers on propaganda media. Write the CEOs and tell them. Organize. The Tea Parties get some coverage (usually smarmy by the propaganda media), and they're fluff. They don't change any minds. But the same number of people ACTIVELY boycotting a certain company and sticking to it, might make that company pull their ads from propaganda media.
Anybody know why some comments have to be approved by the administrator and others do not? If the administrator is reading this, I'd appreciate knowing what I can and cannot say. I don't use vulgarity, never advocate violence, don't attack other posters, and most of my comments get through. But others, have to be approved. It's a waste of time to post only to be censored. What are the tabus here? Post the rules.
Agree.
I don't think it has to do with censoring. I think it has to do with how many comments you make in an hour to one particular thread.
In other words, if you are a mass spammer, the Administrator will get you fairly quickly. If you are a person who just writes fast, you are only held up for a little bit.
I have never had mine erased. I have seen that others have been erased.
yep
believe me, Joelim, I like the way you think!
How's that Reynold's Wrap hat working out? Is it deflecting the alien micro-wave signals?
My reputation score only goes down
Why is that ?
Pollyanna would be proud indeed, there is that slight whiff of descent in Obama’s blithering constituency, the press.
You got that right about the permanence of bureaucracies and policies. If I recall correctly, the Federal Government is still paying a mohair subsidy, you know, to make sure there's plenty of the material to properly uniform our doughboys for the trenches. I think there's also a "temporary" telephone tax that was put in place to pay for the Spanish-American War.
This is such a good point that I'm going to repeat it.
most Americans want it done to 'em
most Americans want it done to 'em
most Americans want it done to 'em
It's human nature. EVERYBODY wants to be lied to.
It seems arbitrary the administrator approval, pain in the tail. ThinkRight, it because you’re pissing off a lot of liberals, “keep up the good work man.”
Well put Mr. Lee!
"It's human nature. EVERYBODY wants to be lied to. "
ok
The check is in the mail
And I promise i won't ……in you mouth
It is only two of the three greatest lies
/I am bad I know
THey don't yet have our guns, and I don't think the majority of those who have them will give them up tamely.
I think it's an automated filter that isn't programmed all that well. Nothing to be taken personally.
I recently had a comment of mine "disapproved" by the "administrator" as soon as I clicked the button to send it through. No human would have had time to read it.
The only word in my text that could possibly have flipped a switch was in a section I copied and pasted in from the article I upon which I was commenting.

"but I think the anger and backlash is already here"
Someone I know pointed this out to me the other day. It took President Bush until his second term to be truly despised by Democrats. It has taken obama less than six months to reach this level with the Republicans, and an every increasing number of Independents.
Barry's one success that will be remembered through history will be how he managed to create an even greater divide in an already divided nation……..
The CIA and the Mossad! That's what they WANT you to think!
Don't fall for the disinformation. It was really a joint operation of the 4-H Club and the Mystic Knights of the Sea Lodge.
As to "reputation", they need to either get it fixed or discontinue it. Where's my "+10" for my initial comment to this thread? Nothing has been added to my total reputation score.
Not that I'm petty or juvenile enough to be competing with "Lawhawk" for something as trivial as that…
"This just in: Terrorists have crashed a United Airlines 747 in the middle of Los Angeles, and City Hall is now a smoking crater. How this will affect the Michael Jackson funeral, after the break."
exactly Primer – as Burt says, it's time to get mad as hell. I am sure not ready to throw in the towel
The MSM put him on that pedestal. If they ever wake up, they will kick it right out from under him………….
That would be waaaaaay more funny if it wasn't what would happen. So it is merely hilarious instead of freakin hilarious.
Why aren't decent Democrats up in arms? That's easy. Becuz they stopped listening to you the moment you trotted out Bill Ayers. I understand that anger is your sunset years hobby. But unlike in the movies, *lunatic* anger tends to undercut one's argument.
Do you mean "Communist/Anti-capitalist takeover", makes more sense.
You might want to note that Howard Beale was nuts.
Yes, somehow, BHO's ACORN cronies got entire districts to vote in alphabetical order! They are "organized crime", whoops, I meant "organized".
Good stuff GT – I won't watch NBC except for very few live sporting events (a weakness on my part, I know.) Also though, don't forget the power of yourself. Keep speaking up. YOU ARE GOOD AT IT! Surely you know some decent independents, so don't be afraid to try and convince them. Talk up sites like BH.
I do think (hope?) a lot of independents and moderates, (including some Dems) that either a) didn't vote because they were uninspired by McCain's campaign or 2) voted for Obama to see what the change would be, are now worried as heck about his spending.
Apathy and affluence have gotten us into this fix. We have been so affluent for so many years that for most of us it did not matter what our leaders said or did, as long it did not impact our life style or dip into our wallets too much.
Now, Obama and his allies in congress, abetted by his followers in the media are doing their very best to destroy our affluence. It is interesting that one of the best examples of non-apathy, the T.E.A. parties, is ridiculed or studiously ignored by our main stream media. I think that the participation at future T.E.A. parties will increase remarkably once Obama's policies begin to take their effect. At least I think so, I hate to think that we are so willing to allow our freedoms to be taken away from us.
Look what the cat drug in, it stinks really bad! Hey Staphinfection, why does every one of your comments have to twist a situation around to make Israel look bad? We don't have to worry about the government taking over these companies, its the other way around, then why is BHO doing his darndest to take over the entire economy? So he can hand it over to "these companies"? D'OH!!
Please stop Burt, my head is spinning already. Seriously, EXCELLENT writing.
When your'e right, your'e right.
Well then, that just goes to show you there must be very few decent democrats, right?
ah, but that's what the Boy Scouts of America and their secret leader, Elvis (yes, he is still alive) want you to think.
well said, and a plus for the catch 22 reference in your user ID
I SO agree with you! I have felt that for a long time, the power to change isn't in our congress people, they are completely ignoring us. I'm thinking there is something in the making to keep them in power forever-like martial law for some emergency or repeal the 22nd amendment. After all, ACORN is in charge of (or going to be) the census, which will allow redistricting to favor dems. The real power to change the direction is with the media. After all, they are the ones who turned the country against Bush.
It went from not updating the score for months to now maybe once a day. And I think it only moves so far a day, has some basis in the total number of posts, possibly only increments the full amount if your score that day is below the apparent IQ of Biden…
I think Bill comes up tied to his murderous past. Well, I think that might be it!
Okay, note to self…..wait a minute, I don't get it.
I'm with you, Jed.
How about, as a minimum, the ability to pass a simple, 10th grade level written exam in basic civics, plus proof of U.S. citizenship? I wouldn't even stipulate English only.
Is being able to name the three branches of the Federal government and define the word "bicameral" too much to ask of someone who thinks he should be entitled to participate in the selection of our next president?
Disenfranchising the ignorant is not really that bad an idea…
Vote Early, Vote Often! It's the Chicago way………………
And yet, you have a score of 96 while my provocative, insightful comments are rewarded with a measely 65. It just went up one.
64+14 = 65
I think that's also the method they used to tally the absentee ballots in Minnesota…
OK i'll bite.
Why is Bill Ayers considered to be "lunatic anger"? Are you saying that there's no connection between him and Obama? Or do you not care about his social and political views?
I suspect it's the latter. Now, if a Republican candidate were to be socially linked with David Duke, would that matter to you? Would it become a campaign issue?
How is Obama/ Ayers any different than that?
Yeah, all those Goldman-Sachs (hmmmm, what kind of names are those) execs in his cabinet are just hating all the billions of dollars being given to them.
Don't expect a reply any time soon, Tom. This person said on another post that his family had suffered under Communism and that it was a disservice to the country to call BHO a commie. Well I called his bluff and pointed out all of his inconsistencies and lies, never heard back from him. Guess he's back over at Huffhoes
Look what the cat drug in, really stinks bad! Hmmmm, I don't know, Pleiedian maybe? Would you please share with us this "secret intelligence".
Wow…I'd have a hard time refuting that sort of logic anyway.
I'd never call Obama a "commie"; my term of choice is "utopian socialist". Not the same thing at all.
Obviously not, BM, I told him not to put his head in the Microwave when its on, especially when he's wearing his tin-foil hat! Says it helps with his "secret research".
Your'e right, "commie" is sooo outdated anyway : )
There is something resembling averaging in there somewhere, so you end up going against your entire body of posts to get an improvement. I think quantity matters, I once noticed a few points added after making a single post. And it also seems your oldest points are discounted somehow, certain people have been low, started making better comments, and their ratings zoomed up. It seems a very arcane equation is used, shrouded in mystery yet the results are accepted as accurate and reliable. No comment as to whether the people behind ID used to do campaign polling numbers for the networks.
Haha…. ACORN seems to have done a good job of exporting these Community Organizational Techniques to other states and cities also.
A rose by any other name would smell just as sweet.
It is the same thing, whether you call it fascist/collectivist or Communist/Anti-capitalist.
Has any one here read Liberal Facism?
I agree to some extent, however, apathy never got BHO votes from dead people, pets, voters rolls in alphabetical order, etc.,etc.
"(hmmmm, what kind of names are those?)"
I know…I know, I know…pick me!
It was those Juuudddeeennnn…right?
What did I win Stafford Von knuckle head?
Not Over.
Now that the POTUS is a full-blown celebrity, we are indeed led by a hubris-filled leadership in the Executive and Legislative branches of our government. The Out-Of-Touch Gang –Pelolsi, Frank, Reid, Dodd, Schumer, ad nauseum, haven't the foggiest idea of doing the right thing for the citizenry and its posterity…… The country is tending toward a Socialistic European model of Statism, guaranteeing a lower standard of living, slower economic growth, and ever-greater taxes, delivered in a ribbon-wrapped package of a multitude of new legislation (unread by the OOT Gang) that will change the decades of American prosperity we have known. Change — We really need a real government, comprised of real people with real lives….. The current batch is from a different reality. Enough voters are now smelling the coffee…..
It's not those damn Pleiedians after all? D'OH!
We need to be heard before then. We need to Stand Up and exclaim at every opportunity 'No We Will Not Accept This"
Write, Call, Twitter,E-mail Your Senator. Harass the H**l out of them!
Slick little joke. Hope it is far from the truth.
Really enjoyed reading this article—Well Done!
apathy is exactly what got him those votes. if not for apathy the "people" would not have allowed graveyard registrations to occur let alone acorn.
But, but, Obama's cool! He has tight abs! His wife is so stylish! His daughters are cute! Why, he's practically a god! All the magazines and cable news outlets say so, except for FNC and Rush Limbaugh. Rush Limbaugh has a weight problem, so he can't be right about anything. Anyway, Keith Olbermann and President Obama assured me it's all Bush's fault.
Besides, Barack Obama is Our First African-American President, so he has to be right about everything. To think otherwise is racist.
/heavy sarcasm
Anyone who actually thought a democrat was not going to raise your taxes should have a double of the tax he is giving us. Health care is unaffordable? No problem, we will tax you for the benefits that your company is paying for you so you can pay an additional amount on at least 6000 a year, and if you choose not have insurance, we will fine you a 1000 and then tax you on the health insurance you buy. All of which raise the cost of health care for every American. This is the behavior you should expect from the democrats. It shouldn't surprise you. http://hanson807.wordpress.com
If we don't get our education system back from these socialists soon, we will lose our country I am afraid.
I think Facist is more correct. The taking over and control of business by the state is facism. To many people fear a takeover of the government by corporations. In the history of the world this has never happened. It is always a government takeover of the corporations. Facism is anti-capitalist. It is the state control of the means of production. Facism is hand in hand with socialism. It is the first big step to total government control. So I think Facism is more correct. Currently, that is the state we are in.
Stafford,
I think your lederhosen are too tight — they're cutting off the flow of blood to your brain.
Ya. So Obama takes over the car industry and the banking industry with some Insurance(AIG) and somehow you believe that the corporations are in charge.
Also, one world currency? Only a moron who know nothing about money would say something like this. What would make that currency worth anything? What would give it value? Believe it or not, a government can't give money value. Only the people who earn it can. If we think the money is crap, we will simply trade in something else and then all the "new world currency" in the world won't buy you a loaf of bread.
You are clueless.

Excellent!
A haze blurs rationality in this country. It's time to clear the air! Great column!
Hell NO! I always prefer the red pill…at least you know what you're up against.
I will have to differ with you here, although you can look at political affiliation as a circle. At the top is the "middle", as you go down to the left, you see communism/socialism, as you go down towards the right you have facism/nationalism. Both actually overlap, as they are both anti-capitalistic/chauvinistic and anti-liberterian.Facism will also use the control of state reigion, Communism is a pseudo-religion , therefore, we are currently in more of a communist/marxist(heavily anti-religion) state. We are in such an anti-capitalistic state, its more communistic.Semantics?Maybe, both are anti-freedom,and as I stated before, greatly overlap.
As you can read in my response, its more a difference of semantics than reality, as both overlap greatly, only using subtle different techniques to come into power, essentially the same thing once we get there.Currently we are more in a anti-religion, anti-capitalistic state, slightly more semanticly communistic.
ACORN was the result of "community organization" and "community activism", the exact opposite of "apathy", we should not underestimate the organizational skills of these people, my friend.
So true, we all know(except Stafford) our economy basically thrives through "consumer confidence". Isn't this quite apparent right now.
Very well stated!!
Bigot!
And many of us might just be getting fairly close to that now.
Well, Mr. Prelutzky I am right there with you. Good thing I went to a tea party yesterday and got to do a little shouting. It relieved some of the pressure. If I can go shooting sometime soon that will help even more! We have to stay positive, though. I think we outnumber them regardless of what the polls say.

You are absolutely right…It is obviously not enough to just not watch/buy biased main-stream media. I choose to not buy the products of companies that give their media dollars to biased media sources. I only wish that I could discover advertisers without watching or buying biased media!
Boycott everything and anything with a liberal connection, hit’em in the pocket and the rest will follow. As much as they love Barry, they love their homes in Malibu, boycott.
How about a taxpayer funded Homeland for Whites? We've been paying for decades for a Homeland for J3ws.
They aren't being taken over as evidenced that NO ONE IS BEING FIRED even after the admission they were to blame by the very act of receiving a bailout.
" Only a moron who know nothing about money would say something like this." Apparently China, Russia and India are morons?
"What would make that currency worth anything? What would give it value? "
What gives our money value? That is the problem, we have been living off the fat of the land too long. People like KISSENGER hyperinflated the value of the dollar by making it a reserve currency but that is all crumbling now. And now that our means of PRODUCTION have been shipped overseas, we are going to drop to a level below we were before they did that.
You should read "The Creature from Jekyll Island" and learn something.
You know, shooting will relieve some restlessness, but it will also help with your target practice. I am glad for that. Thank you for attending a rally. I was too lazy with visiting relatives to go to our local rally. Wish I could scream from my rooftop at how unhappy I am with the govt.
Everybody, I betcha' this is REXTER the anti-semetic troll from the first couple of months of BH. To him the idea that eating bacon raise ones cholestorol isa Je**wish conspiracy.
…or was he?
Fine, then, the MAJORITY of people want to be lied to. We wouldn't have that guy in the White House if it weren't so.
A "taxpayer-funded homeland for whites"? Isn't that called "Iowa"?
(Ethanol humor – kind of inside, but pretty good if you think about it).
It just hates certain words, and words with those words in them, an automated filtering like Old_Tom said. You have to figure out what they are and use others, you can also slip them in by applying an attribute to a single letter in the objectionable word to "break it up." It does not like "fag" so you cannot use the British slang for a cigarette, likewise "faggot" does not work so you cannot refer to a bundle of sticks. "Jew" is one, so "jewish" and even "jewel" and "jewelry" are out, but it will take "Judaism" and any other religion. For a really strange quirk it will not take "breitbart" thus it even blocks the owner of the site. Your post can be completely innocent, but somewhere there is a letter combination in some word, and whoops, the moderation beast attacks.
That's right.
I will fight till the bitter end.
She is correct on her points,I would add stand up for your rights and make your voice heard.
TEA party.
Hahahaha………funny stuff!! Yes, especially to his little head, which is probably the head he thinks with.
Excellent point, thats why my children are home-schooled. My daughter is 14 and her curriculum is currently from Ohio State University(of course without the "humanities" classes!).

TJ, I AM an Independent. I would have a hard time choosing between a Joe Lieberman and a Mitt Romney for president. Except for the gun issue, my politics are Rudy Guiliani's politics. I liked Arnold Schwarzenegger until he turned out to be incapable of standing up to the Dem.legislature in CA (some of my basis for saying this is a one-party country. If a politician is elected to fight the Left, the propaganda media pile on and few can withstand the ink constantly thrown at them – ink doesn't get thrown at Lefties, notice).
I believe Conservatives make a big mistake attacking "Rinos" and moderates and independents rather than finding common ground. I suspect most "Rinos" , independents and moderates are just as appalled as conservatives over the fiscal irresponsibility of the government, however, don't feel welcome in the conservative fold.
So far as boycotting NBC, CBS, et al — that works only so far as viewership and Democgraphics but believe me, the CEOs are clueless ideologues who don't care if you don't watch so long as they can get their propaganda out. Otherwise Letterman would have been fired on the spot for his tasteless attack on an underage child. But they DO care about revenue, and if there would appear a web site dedicated to posting ON LINE those who advertise in propaganda media and those of us who want to fight back with dollars and not bullets could find out who NOT to buy from, the propaganda media would be struggling far worse than it is.
Helen Thomas was tough on all presidents but Clinton and I think the old troll was hopelessly in love with him ergo fluttered and flattered and kissed up to him.
I don't believe Colin Powell will turn against Obama. He might float some "concerns" about Obama but in the end race seems to trump everything so far as African-Americans are concerned. Look at what's happening with Cohen in TN.
The reason more people aren't mad is because the opposition is too cracked to take their Obama Derangement Syndrome seriously.
Take these whoppers:
"I can guarantee that if a Republican president had done half the things that Obama has pulled off in his first half year, most of us on the right would be calling for his head. At the very least, none of us would be kissing his heinie. "
Sorry, but conservative pundits (like Prelutsky) united in a group tukos-smooch that lasted for over 7 years, citing 9/11 as the justification for anything the Bush Amin did. Criticizing Bush or Cheney was verboten on the Right and attacked as unpatriotic and "Hating America." Brave souls like Prelutsky only joined on the W.–WTF?!? bandwagon when it was clear the American public had stopped buying the bull (or elephant, as it were). By then, of course, their credibility was shot.
"Inasmuch as the Heritage Foundation estimates that the cap and trade bill will wind up costing the average middle class taxpayer nearly $3,000 in additional energy costs"
Even though the author of the original report this estimate was based on specifically told Republican officials that this number was way off base (he estimated around $75/year), and the CBO estimates are also much lower, Prelutsky still chooses this completely fabricated figure.
Howard Beale may have been angry and somewhat crazed, but all Prelutsky has are trumped-up imaginary conspiracies and ODS, which make all the criticisms just seem like frustrated rants from the Party of NO, who determined from the start that all they can and should do is obfuscate and obstruct, rather than offer any real solutions, or even participate meaningfully in the debate.
"Sorry, but conservative pundits (like Prelutsky) united in a group tukos-smooch that lasted for over 7 years, citing 9/11 as the justification for anything the Bush Amin did."
Yeah, while the supposedly objective mainstream media pilloried W from day one, they have given the Dear Leader a pass on running up the biggest debt in US history.
The deficit spending accelarated in the last two years of the W presidency when Congress was under Democratic control–you did realize that Congress, not POTUS, is responsible for the federal budget?
I don't believe the State-run media or liberal polls. Americans are fed up with Oblabla.
"Criticizing Bush or Cheney was verboten on the Right and attacked as unpatriotic and "Hating America." Brave souls like Prelutsky only joined on the W.–WTF?!? bandwagon when it was clear the American public had stopped buying the bull (or elephant, as it were)."
I do not recall the Bush DHS putting a report citing "left-wing" groups as likely fomentors of terrorism, unlike Homeland Security Secretary Napolitano's recent report. Nope, nothing chilling about labelling anti-tax groups as potential terrorists in need of government surveillance.
Regardless of whether Prelutsky did or did not call Bush on his own crapola…the topic of this discussion is all the crapola that is out there and continues to be thrown around by the present administration.
The cap and trade bill is a nightmare of (I quote National Review Online) "special-interest giveaways, regulatory mandates unrelated to climate change, fanciful technological programs worthy of The Jetsons, and assorted left-wing wish fulfillment." This will do nothing to help the environment and everything to kill the U.S. economy. If you want to become informed I suggest you read this: http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=YTc1MmVhMGYx...
"Even though the author of the original report this estimate was based on specifically told Republican officials that this number was way off base (he estimated around $75/year), and the CBO estimates are also much lower, Prelutsky still chooses this completely fabricated figure.
Unlike that same CBO's estimate that Obama-care will cost one trillion dollars over ten years, and not cover near the forty-some million people in the US without private insurance?
"…which make all the criticisms just seem like frustrated rants from the Party of NO, who determined from the start that all they can and should do is obfuscate and obstruct, rather than offer any real solutions…".
This is just more of the Democratic Party's demand for their version of "bi-partisanship" i.e. Republicans agreeing to everything the Dear Leader demands.
If the GOP has any loyalty to their philosophy of individual liberty, they will indeed say NO to Obama's agenda, and do everything they can to obstruct the massive debt and deficit the Dear Leader is running up with his paternalistic vote-buying schemes.
You're kidding, right? The Bush Administration kept the Iraq?Afghanistan war off the budget, resulting in an almost $1 trillion, unaccounted for expense. And of course Bush's last days were spent fighting for a $1 trillion-dollar giveaway to the banking industry with no strings attached.
"The worst part is that I don't see anything changing anytime soon so long as those in the MSM keep ignoring the facts and portraying Obama in nothing less than a radiant messianic light."
Well, I see a big change in the near future, but I'm not happy about it.
The next Al Queda attack on American soil will finish Obama's presidency. It's coming. He's already been labelled as a "muslim traitor" by Al Zawahiri's last message to the faithful. That fact was barely reported by our lovely MSM, but it's out there nonetheless.
Just like the 500 tons of (African) yellowcake uranium that our military recently finished transporting out of Iraq. "Bush lied and kids died"? Well, not so much as it turns out. But you'd never know it if you got all your news from Katie Couric.
There's a nice three and two with a two-car garage for lease a couple of doors down from my place. It would make a sweet halfway house for some of the gitmo terrorists Obama is intent on releasing.
Sorry–I refuse to take seriously any mudslingingarticle from a ODS magazine that starts from its premise to oppose anything the Obama Administration does.
Unlike Bush, who had the Right Wing Media Elite marching in lockstep with him no matter what he did, there are a number of Left Wing critics of Cap and Trade and other policies that I find much more credible.
You mean like the reports that labeled anti-war groups and environmental groups as potential terrorists?
The difference is that the CBO was analyzing the unfinished HealthCare bill, not the finished bill. The one they analyzed did not include the public plan, the employer mandate and the individual mandate, which would increase coverage and possibly lower individual costs.
i am on it – as we speak(er write)

how is it you have No Profile and No score?
fed up also.
Well, as they say, if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the sediment.
Except that the CBO estimate was severely flawed in that it did not include the public option or the employer and personal mandates, and the proposal to increase Medicare coverage, all of which would cover much more of the uninsured and possibly reduce individual costs.
my granny is on the TEA party list-but she is a holy terror!
i understand what you are saying but i still disagree. let me put it another way. the majority of people are apathetic thus allowing the energetic minority to get away with anything. that includes community anythings such as acorns registration fraud.(alledged)
thats better.
you would have thought that giving an interview where in he said he would make coal and oil too expensive to use would have been a clear signal to w.v. ond others. phew long sentence.
as i'm stepping into the twilight zone.
As to that, it may already be too late.
My wife is a career teacher (currently 7th and 8th grade, bless her heart). She used to teach in the public schools, but for the past 14 years has chosen to work in the private school system. It's less money, but she considers the small class size and administrative support (there's a novel idea) as a fair tradeoff.
At her last public school, she refused to join the national teachers' union under extreme pressure from her professional colleagues, as she was the lone holdout preventing them from achieving 100% enrollment at her school. She patiently explained to them that as long as the so-called "teachers union" remained a lobby group for social and political issues that she was ideologically opposed to, she could not in good conscience support them with her union dues.
After her example, several of the younger teachers withdrew their memberships in the union.
I've never been prouder of her.
I missed the one on April 15th because I've committed to a wednesday live streaming prayer session for awakening and thought that my time "on the wall " would be better in the long run. July 4th seemed appropriate. Don't know if I can make the next one. I'll be in "liberal land" (translate: my family) for the next one. And yes target practice is very, very beneficial in many ways. I'm thinking of coming up with bowling pins with the images of doofusy politcial and celebrity figures (Pelosi, Garafalo, the Big O, etc.). Call it politcal bowling. Visual incentive to bowl strikes!
You hate everbody don't you? You are a sad, sad, short sided, undereducated, mouthbreathing. public school graduating (or maybe just a GED), bitter little white person. I feel for ya. No wonder you are a liberal. They are going to help you so much you just may have to stand in line for bread in the future without putting in an hour of paid work for it. Spread the hate around, darling. There are many many others out there to hate. You are kinda shortsighted just focusing on one group. God Bless the USA. God Bless Israel. (not necessarily in order of importance.)
That was kinda cute!
"Except that the CBO estimate was severely flawed in that it did not include the public option or the employer and personal mandates, and the proposal to increase Medicare coverage, all of which would cover much more of the uninsured and possibly reduce individual costs. "
So, the CBO was wrong in its estimate of the cost of Obama-care, but correct in its estimate of the cost of Cap-and-Trade? Why the disparity?
Perhaps it has something to do with the inabilty of government to do anything on a cost-effective basis. Given the history of AmTrak and Social Security, to name two examples of publicly-funded boondoggles, I see no basis for rosy predictions about the cost of Cap-and-Trade, a gigantic swindle that will do little to reduce CO2 emissions…which in any case have nothing to do with any alleged "climate change".
"You mean like the reports that labeled anti-war groups and environmental groups as potential terrorists?"
Given the acitivities of anti-war activists like Bill Ayers and the ELF's arson attacks, they are terrorists.
People who oppose higher taxes and government spending were/are targeted by the Dear Leader's DHS as terror suspects, along with military veterans. Clearly this was an attempt to marginalize all oppostion to the Dear Leader and His policies.
"Well, as they say, if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the sediment. "
The "solution" to mounting federal debt and deficits is cutting spending and taxes; supporting such mis-guided policies, as you do, is adding to the problem.
I love the rote Democratic response to criticism of mounting government debt and deficits, i.e. "Bush ran up a trillion dollar deficit".
Apparently, Bush was wrong to run up a trillion dollar deficit (a fair assertion, although the War on Terror made much of it necessary), so therefore the Dear Leader is right to more than double the deficit. What logic!
Of course, Congress, not the President sets the budget, and if the Iraqi Front in the War on Terror is such a mistake, as the Dear Leader said when He was merely the Senator from Change, then why continue funding said Iraq war?
Although it only takes a minority to be apathetic to allow the other side to impose its will, the fact is if the libs weren't so motivated and organized, this would be a moot point. Actually, I think we both have good points in this question…. : )
I guess you agree then that given the activities of Timothy McVeigh, Randy Weaver, Shelly Shannon, Scott Roeder, and Richard Poplawski that Pro-Life activists and Gun Rights activists are also terrorists?
And by the way, if you read the report instead the rabid misreadings so prevalent in the conservative press, you'd notice it says merely, "rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans," hardly the same as the government "targeting" military veterans. And if I'm to use your standards (and I wouldn't), McVeigh and Poplawski indicate that all returning vets are terrorists anyway.
And, looking at the report, I don't see any mention of groups who oppose higher taxes and government spending. Maybe I'm overlooking something, or maybe you're just another victim of Right-Wing paranoia…
It seems fairly obvious to me what's going on. A couple of hundred years ago when I was in high school, I was a complete bleeding heart liberal, tossing around all the commonly used terms, power to the people, feed the poor, jobs for every one, standard teenage Marxist theology. Of course shortly after graduation, upon entering the real world, it became painfully confident I didn't have the slightest idea what I was talking about.
Obama never made that leap from theoretical politics – where anything and everything was possible – to reality. He actually believes capitalism and free market are evil and the only way anyone accumulates personal wealth is by stealing it from those more deserving. He actually believes it. And now we're all his guinea pigs for his grand and glorious political experiment to remake the world in his leftist image.
Uh, no. We can agree that in a calm economy, reducing federal debt and deficits is a good thing (and after the eight Bush years where "Reagan showed us that deficits don't matter.", welcome to the club!)
Cutting spending now, in the midst of a near-Depression, will increase the velocity of the downward spiral.
Unlike you, I don't subscribe to the simplistic "CBO must be all right or all wrong."
I stated the reasons why the CBO report on healthcare was wrong–it did not have all the information it needed to make an accurate assessment, and was rushed by some overzealous Democrats to write the report before it was ready. That was not the case with the CBO report on the Cap and Trade bill.
And by the way, Social Security is not a boondoggle. It will be solvent for another 40 years assuming the highly unlikely event that no changes whatsoever are made to its funding or conditions. Can you name me any private organization that can guarantee it will be in business 40 years from now?
Obama has to double the deficit because of the gigantic hole the Bush Administration dug for us (and yeah, I'm man enough to admit that much of the damage–for example, the repeal of Glass-Steagal–was done before Bush took office.)
"Cutting spending now, in the midst of a near-Depression, will increase the velocity of the downward spiral."
Just like spending 1.6 trillion on a "stimulus" bill was necessary in January to prevent unemployment from reaching 8% this summer?
Well, I gather if I yelled out my window… most of my neighbors (which are republican's) may throw shoes at me…. I know why most dem's are screaming.. they are all out of there minds…(J/K) Honestly it will not make any difference if we do.. they have the power right now and they will swiftly move any of there bills or agenda for the fact of the matter through! It has been said more then once and i will say it again,…. I DID NOT VOTE FOR THE PEOPLE IN OFFICE AND I AM NOT VERY HAPPY ABOUT WHAT IS GOING ON!!!I have sent numerous emails and letter to the powers that be and nothing ever gets done… went ot our TEA PARTIES and basically got laughed at by our left leaning media, they call us EXTREMISTS or those FOX CRONIES…. The people that do watch any other media outlet are in my opinion out of touch and really have NO CARE for what goes on in our country.. just as long as they can go out and get a Latte when ever they want….. I just think that our words/ have not caused any action and we may need to ramp it up some!!!!
"And by the way, Social Security is not a boondoggle. It will be solvent for another 40 years assuming the highly unlikely event that no changes whatsoever are made to its funding or conditions. Can you name me any private organization that can guarantee it will be in business 40 years from now?"
That's a great consolation if you are over forty, and hence not likely to be around when the Social Security Ponzi scheme collapses.
Can you name one private initiative that forces all citizens, under penalty of law, to contribute to a plan that by even your admission will not be solvent in forty years?
What about AmTrak, BTW? A great example of government running something best left to the private sphere…
"Obama has to double the deficit because of the gigantic hole the Bush Administration dug for us (and yeah, I'm man enough to admit that much of the damage–for example, the repeal of Glass-Steagal–was done before Bush took office.) "
The Dear Leader based His stimulus plan on the premise that it would turn the economy around, thereby generating tax revenue that would undue a "temporary" deficit. As evidence He cited the example of Japan's "lost decade" in the 1990s.
Two BIG problems with this analysis by the Dear Leader: first, Japan spent over SEVEN TRILLION dollars to dig itself out of that hole, and it failed. As FDR's Treasury Secretary recognized by the late 1930s, a government cannot tax and spend its way out of an economic downturn. The Dear Leader missed these lessons.
"Obama has to double the deficit because of the gigantic hole the Bush Administration dug for us (and yeah, I'm man enough to admit that much of the damage–for example, the repeal of Glass-Steagal–was done before Bush took office.) "
Obama justified His "stimulus bill" by invoking Japan's "lost decade" of the 1990s. In doing so the Dear Leader made two disastrous errors.
First, the Dear Leader claimed that government spending would head off the sort of tailspin Japan experienced. However, Japan spent over seven trillion dollars in the 90s to dig its economy out, and it failed to do so. As FDR's Treasury Secretary Morgenthau noted in the late 1930s, it is impossible for a government to spend its way out of an economic downturn.
Second, the Japanese economic collapse of the 1990s exposed the flaws in Japan's corporatist economic model; namely the belief that the government should play a central role in regulating competition, allocating markets and resources, and mediating labor-management disputes.
The result of this philosophy was that politicians, corporate heads, and labor leaders got way too cozy with each other, and cooperated in implementing disastrous micro- and macro-economic decisions that torpedoed the Japanese economy. This sort of corporatist government intervention in the private sector is, of course, exactly what the Dear Leader is doing here in the auo, financial, and health care industries.
1.6 Trillion? Where did that number come from? The Stimulus package was $787 billion. And yes, I would argue that it wasn't enough…
You kinda skipped over the "highly unlikely event that no changes whatsoever are made to its funding or conditions" clause in my "admission." I fully expect Social Security to be funded well through my children's retirements, assuming that the Republicans don't demagogue it out of existence.
You may be right about AmTrak. I don't think the government should be running all types of businesses, and considering that the Republicans have been trying to kill AmTrak for years, it would probably be better off privatized than half-sabotaged.
So if we're only just now heading into that "way too cozy" relationship, which implies that we weren't that way under, say, Bush, what exactly caused the current economic crisis? Three demerits if you say the bankers were misled by the evil poor who took out sub-prime loans without ever intending to pay them back.
Definitely. i believe you have a very stong point and make a good case on your point. the problem is i think that in so many ways we are both right.
Yes, and that is unfortunate, indeed. We need to turn this next election (and the mid-terms) around on both points, my friend.
You have a point. The only reason I think a country goes to facism vice going to so called communism like Russia and China did, as opposed to facism like Italy and Germany is the type of government that they had initially. Both China and Russia started with a monarchy where Italy, Germany and now us started with an elected government parliment type system with industry operating on its own outside of the power of government. So socialism/communism moves in to remove the monoarchy who is controlling the country and its capital(money). Facism/Nationalism is the socialists moving in to take control of the country, and nationalizing the business to take control of the capital.
> They sent Stuart Smalley to the U.S. Senate.
No, actually, they sent Al Franken. "Stuart Smalley" is an old character. You know, the same way that Drake McHugh, played by Ronald ("Where's the rest of me?") Reagan was a character.
Okay dude. Kissenger has been gone for 3 decades. China and Russia can talk all they want and attempt to make a world currency. That's fine. Have a ball. It will only be worth the amount of trust anyone has in China and Russia to pay out the worth of that currency. Both have reniged on contracts and not paid vendors. No one trusts Russia and China, no one will want any of their money tied up with those two governments. So they can make a "global" money, it will be worth less than the paper it is printed on and again, what is it backed with? If they choose gold, where will it be held? You are right, only the CEO and about 1000 other individuals were let go with GM, AIG and the banks. Also, now the folks left over answer to Obama. They donate to Obama and they come on TV and talk and say what Obama wants them to say. Oops. That means you are wrong.
Fiscal conservatism, free markets and national defense are my issues. Beyond that, I'm pretty flexible.
"I'm thinking there is something in the making to keep them in power forever-like martial law for some emergency or repeal the 22nd amendment."
YEP on the latter. A Dem Congressman from Northeast (forget which one) is looking into repealing the 22nd amendment. When I read that, I got visions of Chavez, Mugabe and all the other tin horn dictators in the Third World which is the world (in my opinion) Obama has in mind for the USA. Before you think my tin hat shrank, look at Mr. Obama's history — Kenyan father whom he totally identified with (third world), ten years in Indonesia (third world). Those were his formative years — Once in Hawaii, he hooked up with a known Marxist and learned at his knee. In college his buddies were Marxists, same with Law school, in Chicago he palled up with Ayers (Revolutionary and murderer) and Reverend Wright (Afro-Centrist) who has more in common with Louis Farrakhan than Billy Graham. America right now is like the woman who catches her husband in bed with another woman, to whom the husband says, "Who are you going to believe? Me or your lying eyes?" Obama has let us know EXACTLY who he is and what he's up to and we refuse to believe our "lying eyes".
You're an extremist and a FOX crony. Just sayin'
Very good point, indeed.Well stated and taken. I think we can both agree that both forms of extremism only end up in a totalitarian regime which result in misery and strife for the nation involved, they are both the faces of evil. Thanks, friend.
LOL!
Is this an actual real live person or a Turing machine programmed by someone with the Protocols of the Elders of Zion in one hand? I didn't think they made this model anymore. Clearly, someone at HQ has been negligent. I'm dialing the secret hotline to the Mossad and the CIA right now to get the plug pulled on this program ASAP.
The funniest thing about anti-Semitism is that it betrays the fact that you idiots are very much aware of your own inferiority. Don't believe me? Let's apply some logic. How could 0.2% of the population control the world unless they are: a) superhuman and/or b) God's chosen people? Either way, Stafford buddy, you're SCREWED.
We have the exact same issues. I put National Defense #1, Fiscal conservatism #2 and gun rights #3, Free Markets #3. So far as Freedom of the press, right now I want freedom FROM the press! This country was founded on "no taxation without representation". I think it's time for a "No representation without Taxation"! I'm tired of people on the dole having the same vote (and in some cases more than one vote) as those of us who're feeding, clothing and providing for them. I don't mind providing for them, but it's time that I have more of a say in whether they eat steak or chicken.

No, because you don't have a glazed look in your eyes and repeat "Obama is great…Obama is great". You'd be praised if you had bad BO and protested our troops.
How about the "temporary" income tax from World War One?
Protesting the troops? and having the Obama chronicles under my arm…..LOL….
Absolutely. I think we were talking about the same thing. But I do have to say it saddens me that we are sitting here talking about the direction of the country I love. I served my country and it hurts to watch.

I AM A GUN TOTING EXTREMIST… and it is all legal thatnks to the 2nd ammendment….. and knowing where this country is going, they will try and abolish the 2nd ammendment!
That's totally false. The "Right wing media" went after Bush for immigration, Harriet Meiers, prescription drug spending, the TARP, etc. I don't know where you get your news, but it's obviously not fact checked. Obama's gotten nothing, but good press. He's never been vetted in the time he's been on the scene. He's have very little, if at all, questioned by the press. The left wing comes after him for cap and trade because they want him to make it tougher on us and tax us into national poverty.
Agreed. Dems need to get over themselves. Without the pop idol (Obama, not Michael Jackson) as a drawing card in 2010, we will get to see how popular their policies really are.
I agree 100%, it hurts deeply to see this occuring on an almost daily basis, my father also served and paid the ultimate price in VietNam, thank you for your service.See you around, friend. Thanks for the link, very interesting.
Outstanding! Tell her she inspires people.
A conservative was not running. We never had a candidate to vote for in the first place, McCain was despised and rightly so. He was nothing more than a media whore.
I agree, we are in the last stage of the cycle of a civilization, collapse.

Hi Folks,
Many, many men and women of both parties despised GW (baby) Bush for his actions including invading other countries without any legal justification and evading any true investigation of 911. Obama is more of the same s__t that baby dumped on this land. He's carrying the non-mandate of Bush's phony election win in 2000 to a logical extreme. Phony presidents, phony congress, phony government corporations, phony 4th estate cover ups. No media, no public informing of the plight of the so called free american man or woman. Folks are waking up to the Bush-Obama crime syndicate.
