Bush inherited a burst bubble recession, too. Reagan inherited a recession far worse than the current one. But they didn´t complain publicly about Carter and Clinton all the time. They also didn´t kneecap the economy. Reagan´s policies gave us two decades of growth that benefited you whether you know it or not. Unemployment under Bush got as low as 4,8%. But no, Obama must tear it all down because you want Utopia.

By the way, it is no lie that Obama insulted the British PM (the UK press certainly thought so).

With his gigantic majority, Obama had a chance to accomplish great things. But he is too ideological, radical and arrogant. He has repeatedly stated that he wants to "fundamentally change" and "remake" America and he is not kidding. Health care needed some improvements – but you will get a completely new system that has never worked before. He could have lowered health care costs by going for tort reform – but trial lawyers paid for his elections. He could have saved GM and Chrysler – but he handed them to the unions, who paid for his election. He could have improved our image abroad – instead he validates those who hate America most and abandons our allies.
