The Twilight Zone - when you think that the writers had about 20 minutes to fully develop a plot - 3 episodes that stand out for me - 3 Astronauts are stranded on a planet fighting to survive - they eventually turn on each other and the lone survivor starts walking - only to discover a road and he had never left earth...

The episode where the American solders are in the Philippines at the close of WW2 - and one soldier can sense when one of his buddies will die - believe it or not I was told this was based on Rod Serling's own life and service - 3rd one - "To Serve man" where some aliens come and eventually the earthlings learn that they didn't come to help man but to eat him!

I tend to agree on Galactica.

It also gets me how people complain so much about the New Caprica arc. yeah, the moral relevance to Iraq thing was a bit annoying, but the resolution was amazing. The Adama Maneuver sequence and the part with Pegasus have to be two of the best action sequences on sci-fi tv ever.

I also loved Ellery Queen. I'm a sucker for TV shows set in the past or the future. My mom was a big mystery fan, so it was a favorite of hers. Also, I'm collecting Perry Mason on DVD.
