Anyway, what does it matter at this point? McCain was born in the Canal Zone, which is unambiguously NOT US territory, and at the time of his birth the Canal Zone was, by US law, explicitly excluded from providing automatic citizenship to children of Americans born there. McCain wasn't even a US citizen for the first two years of his life. You don't even need a birth certificate to prove it, you just have to look up the law and take his word about where and when he was born. Obama's state-certified duplicate of his birth certificate clearly says he was born in Honolulu–unless someone has evidence that someone doctored his records, it's good enough for any employer as proof of citizenship.

Whatever people believe, the birth certificate fight is a lost cause. Even if someone was to find proof that he was born in Kenya, the liberals still wouldn't believe it…they still don't believe that it's cold outside.

Dom_Colangelo: I certainly like your notion of adding "Prelutsky" to the lexicon. But why limit it to an adjective? Why not a noun, as in "He's a regular Prelutsky," meaning extremely bright, affable and darn good-looking? Just a thought.

Another terrific Prelutsky! We all should try to get 'prelutsky' into the lexicon as an adjective. "That article was terrifically prelutsky." Con men are generally quick to fold up their cons when they suspect they're gonna be exposed. I've gotta produce official documentation that I'm an American citizen to get a job at McDonalds–I don't see a damned thing wrong with even a single American citizen demanding to see the Won's actual birth certificate–an no–a statement from some Hawaiian official that THEY'VE seen Obama's birth certificate is not good enough.

And, if it IS such a dry hole, why is the Won paying to keep the fight going?
