Can you imagine how regularly Olbermann would get this treatment were he not a left-wing loon? If he were a Republican? You can count the number of times this blustering buffoon has been targeted for satire on one hand (not counting Steven Crowder).
While it’s nice to see Olby finally get his, for the most part, though he’s low-hanging fruit for any comedian who wants to make people, you know, laugh, Mr. Special Comment gets a sweet pass from America’s comedic Palace Guards.

hilarious – glad to see it get passed around for a change
when you've lost Jon Stewart….
I'm glad Olberman is on the air. Please employ more like him. It will make the rout of the left all that much easier.
Stewart was hilarious, and spot on as usual.
It is a shame that Jon Stewart reports the newz. The Tiffany Network has faded, the Peacock Network has molted, and I forgot who the other one was.
MSM?
No mas.
He still gives Overbite far too much credit.
Yeah…and he allowed the Limbaugh crack. That was kind of cheap.
Hpwerever, he did bring up a good point about Olbermann's comments on Malkin when he made a big stink about Brown's "sexism". This and Ben Affleck's take on Olbie are actually pretty good takes on Keith's moonbat tendancies.
Remember when Ben Affleck mocked Olbermann on SNL? He was livid.
Keith can dish it out, but he can't take it.
I'm sure he's planning some sort of slam on Jon right now.
Why is Jon Stewart so afraid to unload on Olbermann? he couldn't help but scale down his attack on Olbermann's insanity. Were it Rush or Hannity that said those things you know Stewart would have spent 20 minutes ranting off the deep end about it.
Here he treats this as a one-time gaffe from Olbermann when this is pretty all that comes out of that asshole's mouth on a daily basis.
C'mon Jon!! Don't be such a coward!! You should've really let him have it.
My satellite service does not include MSNBC, for which I am typically very grateful. However, for the past few days I have gone over the Olbermann and Maddow websites to watch them torture themselves in trying to explain just what happened recently in Massachusetts. It's really kind of petty on my part, but honesty requires I admit that I have watched those recent segments with a smile fixed firmly on my face. My favorite part was the segment where KO tried to get his guest Howard Fineman to agree that racism directed towards our current President played a major role in the election outcome.
I should be better than this, I know. It's really not Christian for me to take such glee in the suffering of others…. but man, with Olbermann and Maddow, IT FELT SO GOOD.
Notice that already in Untermensch's attempted self-defense he was *already* lying: his crack about Brown "advocat[ing] violence against women' was a riff on the foul Dem charge that brown wanted hospitals to "turn away rape victims." In other words, Bathtub Boy was accusing Brown of supporting rape. He can's admit it, because I'm sure the NBC lawyers had warned him he's inviting a slander suit.
Frankly, I thought the whole thing was stupid, a waste of my time. I can't believe people tune in nightly to watch such absurdity!
A nice and overdue smackdown of Olbermann that is almost as entertaining and revealling as the exchange between Chris Matthews and Gov. Howard Dean on MSNBC.
Perhaps KO ought to be channeling LBJ about now: "If I've lost Jon Stewart, I've lost leftist America."
In case anyone here missed that Affleck/Olbermann SNL sketch:
http://www.hulu.com/watch/42024/saturday-night-li...
Definitely one of the funnier SNL sketches in recent memory.
"For years, sir, your outrage was warranted, based on fact, saturated in reason."???????????? See, Jon basically wants to make fun. But he also shares the same beliefs as Olbie does on many, many levels.
The mocking was funny, but Jon and Olbie are still on the same team. Olbie has not "lost" Jon Stewart. They can both go to hell as far as I'm concerned.
We'll take what we can get. The most-watched "news" show of the twenty-somethings even mentions, with any degree of disapproval, the unhinged, spittle-flecked hate that underlies the American Left? It's progress, mate.
Hey, Kids! Create your own Olbermann Rants(tm)!
[Conservative Name] disagrees with [Leftist Dogma].
How dare you, sir?!!
<Remove glasses dramatically>
[Name] is nothing but a [polysyllabic schoolyard insult].
Lather, rinse, repeat, rush home to hooker with strap-on.
See how easy it is?
Olbermann is of the "it doesn't matter what they say as long as they spell my name right" school. If Stewart's remarks bring Olbermann 10 more moonbat viewers, he will gladly accept any ridicule.
Again, Olbermann is just a ratings ho. Obviously not a very talented one…
He didn't bother to clarify the "swearing at high school students" allegation. Brown was in fact reading to them verbatim the filthy statements they had made about him, so he was quoting the actual students who we were to be so horrified for.
Yes, this is the best we can hope for from liberal comics. The Left has to get THIS CRAZY in order to draw their fire.
Kudos to Stewart for even bringing this up, but there's so much more he's missing.
Derangement comes in many forms, but Keith owns a special place in the pshyco ward. I expect his large and silly head to explode at any moment. Every night he goes spastic, red meat for the proletariat, kooks, & union groups, so it was fun to watch Stewart finally poke him in the eye. I just wish he would of worn those big Ellton John glasses for extra effect, or the ones with the slinky's.
This guy is comedy gold
I don't get the slobbering over Jon Stewart. His "humor" is juvenile, at best, and his exaggerated mugging would never pass muster with even Harpo Marx. I can see where his audience consists of 17 year old highschoolers and basement dwellers.
Red Eye has this witless cretin beat by a hundred smiles.
While the Stewart rant was funny (despite the Limbaugh slam), I still refuse to watch him. Thanks, BH, for letting us in on this!
Well, Stewart still had to play to his liberal base while calling out the stupidity of one of his own, with the Rush comment.
MATT DAMON
That's my problem with this too. Yes it's great that Jon Stewart even acknowledged this and took some good shots. But he backed off and gave some sort of reverance to Olberdork towards the end. My respect level went up a little for Stewart, but he's still too cowardly to do the right thing and nail Olbermann to the wall.
That's why the title of this article shouldn't be "Jon Stewart Destroys Keith Olbermann", it should be "Jon Stewart Gives Keith Olbermann a love tap"
It's funny how Stewart believes Olbermann used to be correct in his assessment of the Bush Administration, but only now thinks Olbermann has lost his mind. Yet it is perfectly clear to everyone else that Olbermann was simply wrong and hateful of Bush like he is wrong and hateful of Brown, and how he has been wrong and hateful about most things for a very long time now.
Great, but ferhaps that should have been "petty, pompous, pusillanimous or poopyheaded"?
Those people over at MSNBC make me sick to my stomach – And i mean that LITERALLY ! That Matthews with that pathetic accent he's got and that Maddows person with that fake-assed crap she puts on when the cameras roll and Olbermann .. One of these night his face is going to melt right off it's skull.
On the weekends. Serial killers and Pedophile shows back to back FOREVER ! It's like news doesn't even happen on the weekends with those people. They should really be saving that week-end time for Jerry Springer re-runs.
Funny how Steward says that something is beneath olberman – SIR! NOTHING is beneath olberman. SIR!
Scrape the bottom of any barrel and you'll see the words "Keep digging for Keith Olberman"
SIR!
Jon Stewart will now learn the hard way that Olbermann can dish it out, and cannot take anything in return. I'm all for being acerbic and polarizing in one's views if they choose, but you better damn well be prepared to take criticism. Watch the schoolyard bully KO go crying to the teacher because the nerdy kid he always beats up called him a name tonight.
"Countdown to No Ratings" should be very interesting.
The integrity list goes something like Stewart, Colbert….. 50 entries later Olbermann, and bottoms out at O-Reilly, Limbaugh, Hannity, & Beck – in that order
Oh my. I don't always like Stewart, but that was actually gut-bustingly funny.
I kinda blame Reagan. If he hadn't closed the Patton State Mental Hospital in CA and dumped the schitzoid crazies out on the street, there would be far less Maddows, Obermanns and Stewarts on TV. Heck, there would be far less Liberals on the street as well. Hollywood would also be more conservative.
Excellent. Those who criticize Stewart for being a liberal miss the point. Of course, he's a biased lib! More power to him. I like diversity of opinion. He's a lib who bashed a lib. HOO-RAY! I'd like to see a conservative comic bash a conservative too. Actually, I'd like to see a conservative comic. Unfortunately, as soon as people take on conservative views (hello, Dennis Miller) they lose their senses of humor. Further evidence: most every post on Big Hollywood: whiny, dour, humorless. Lighten up, right wing!
While I think that was very funny…once again the left is late….we've know Olberman was a moronic douchebag for a very long time now.
There are people who get their political insight from folks like Keitho, unbelievable as that may sound. Hopefully, even light hearted criticism like this will make them think just a little deeper.
I watched that sketch live, and I'm bound to say Ben Affleck rose considerably in my estimation. That one skit almost made up for "Daredevil" and "Gigli." Key word there being "almost."
I'm sorry, but sometimes a troll is so pathetic you just have to throw him a little scrap. I can see how hard you're trying Joe. Here you go little fella…
Umm, let's see… Oh yeah, "I think you have the list turned upside down".
Feel better? Back under the bridge with you little guy.
both of them are just plain jerks who think way way too much of themselves.
Sorry, your last sentence is not quite clear. Who is wearing the strap-on?
Steward cops to being silly when it suits him. Like when he gets called on saying something egregious. "It was just a joke!"
That's the trouble with the left. Everything to them is a joke. From their political choices to their lifestyle choices. No responsibility, no seriousness and no though about the consequences of their action. Conservatives know that there's a time to be funny and a time to be serious. Libs can't comprehend that.
Has anyone checked Olbermann's basement lately to make sure the stuffing hasn't fallen out of his mother?
Surely you don't know what integrity means.
Amen. TV free since '93
I'm conservative as they come and laugh out loud three hours a day. I laugh at the pointed satire and illustrations of liberalism unglued by a genius of broadcasting. Don't you think 'Ol' Lurch' is better than Senator Kerry (who served in Viet Nam)….I guess both are funny, come to think of it.
In immortal words uttered to Jim Carey in the blooper section of Liar, Liar, "OVER-ACTOR!" Stewart mimicking Olbermann? Only William Shatner could present an award for that!

The chGermans call it Schadenfreude. It fits perfectly.
It's what the Letterman crowd watches in the 1/2 hour after they wake up and go out looking for more victims to suck the blood out of.
Woulda been funnier if Stewart didn't seem to be apologizing after every second jab during his Special Komment, but at least SOMEone left-of-center finally said something.
Jon Stewart isn't nearly as funny as he was before he decided to be a political player. Everything he's saying to Olby could be answered with a 'back atcha, Jon'. He's better than Craig 'Sniper Wanted 'Kilbourn, but that's not saying much.
Jon Stewart makes no apologies or excuses for what he is, nor does he pretend to be a responsible journalist. I've watched his show several times, and he usually makes me laugh. Stewart you can't really take seriously – he's a comedian that touches on political issues. This was by far one of his better bits. I appreciate that he's willing to call out Olbermann on this rant, since no one else on the left seems to care. Kudos to him.
I don't watch Stewart, but I just happened to be flipping through channels and caught most of this. I was stunned to say the least. I have to take back about half the bad things I have said about Stewart (I still believe he's a political pundit pretending to be a comedian).
Heh. I used to watch The Daily Show all the time; over the years they've just become another Leftist mouthpiece, albeit a sometimes funny one, with Stewart as the Jester King.
So, not worth any more of my time, although he seems like he's at least _trying_ to make it appear that he's balanced in his lampooning.
There are no words in the English language descriptive enough to convey the utter and absolute contempt I have for the hate filled olbermann. All I can figure is he is so filled with self-loathing that the only way he is able to deal with it is to let it out in these inane, senseless rants. But what is even more disgusting then olbermann is he is not only given a forum to spew his hate, but he's paid to do it.
Spoken like a truly closed-minded person Charles

You and I will be forgiven.
Again, Stewart was spot on!
(In style of Stephen Cobert) "REAGAN!!!!!"
Might have been mildly funny, but I still won't watch it. Personally, I avoid Screwart as much as Gooberman.
I mean, it's like choosing between gonorrhea and diarrhea. Who wants either?
I remember seeing this somewhere…
Morons
Spouting
Nothing
But
Crap
It was probably on here somewhere.
he he he
in the words of Bugs Bunny, "What a Maroon!"
Not only does Stewart apologize for his criticism, he always, ALWAYS, laces any minor criticism of the left with slams at conservatives. He may be funny when he criticizes the left on the rare occasion, but he contaminates his jibes with moral equivalence by dragging the right into the arguement all the time.
That makes him unwatchable to me. As always, the left provides an abundance of material that is routinely ignored by ideologues like Stewart.
My beef with Stewart isn't that he's a lib. It's that so many of his jokes are based on false premises.
.
Good one. Now lets see Stewart him or Bill Maher make fun of Islam and Muhammad the way they bash Christians.
They're too chicken, because they'll fight back.
.
LOL! I sure can't argue with that comparison.
Funny
What is the appeal of a "news commentary" from an overgrown adolescent with delusions that he's channelling Morrow, spewing mindless rants about people who disagree with him? Why does he have his own show? Small wonder that MSNBC has dozens of viewers left.
It is hard to believe that some people take Olberman seriously as a pundit ,his commentary is bizarro ,mean and goofy, really cringe-inducing junk.
This is up there with Affleck's SNL Olbermann sketch. Even libs like Stewart think it's funny when the hard left become unhinged. I sent this to my friends, I think they'll get a kick out of it. Stewart's face after Olbermann's rant is priceless.
Thank you so much for the link to that hilarious sketch. Loved it!
Pretty good. But still not hard enough. Obly, his little sister Rachel, and his uncle Chris provide enough material to last for years.
It is my hope that this marks a change in the downward spiral America has been engaged in. Olberman's rant was unworthy of the technological achievement that is television, the evolutionary advance that is the human brain and the physiological miracle that is the human throat designed by God or natural selection to allow speech.
I can only hope that people are beginning to wake up from the asyphexia caused by the filtering of all reason, honesty, integrity and common sense from the air waves as HEPA filters like Olberman filter such things out of the atmosphere and allow only spew and garbage to pollute the political discourse.
Oh, and about the hot, curling iron…that concerned the man who raped a 23 month old baby (vaginally) with a hot curling iron and Martha Coakley's delays and malfeasance concerning convicting the perpetrator. Look it up and wake up, America.
And while you are at it, look up 'Tea Bagging' and stop accepting this term on the public air waves.
Olberdork wearing a strap-on is the only way he'd get it up.
This Olbermann fellow looks like he needs to be committed. If his comments weren't so offensive (I'd be offended if he referred to Hillary the way he did about Malkin) that "I'm serious" tone he has would probably be funnier than Stewart. (And honestly, Stewart just isn't funny.) Maybe they keep Olbermann on for puerile comic relief?
Even Jon Stewart senses 'the winds-o-change', and like all good entertainers wants to protect on-going paychecks. No intention here to undercut the "seriousness and importance" of his humor,
rooted in his obvious purity-of-motive.
Note to Jon: Olberman has been ranting like this for quite some time. What pray tell inspired you to go after him now, besides the paycheck thing?
Just a tip Scott, can you not post links to those losers at Hulu as they only stream within the US and block everywhere else (as if they controlled some REALLY precious property.
Thanks
GP in Australia.
You got it right on! I didn't hear a take-down of Olberman, but a validation of Olby's nut loggery, especially at the end when he turned the whole thing around into a joke about how "baseless name calling" is his (Stewart's) job! He poked some gentle fun with the glasses and 'Sir!', but the rest was a sly tribute and agreement with the MSNBC loon.
Well when you swim in the same ideological cesspool, the shit always smells good!
Olberman is a bag a fetig scum. This coming from a gay Dem here. I'd support someone shoving a hot curling iron up his ass but I am sure he is used to doing that himself by now.

Aww, come on mate, at least we get to watch it ;- ) ………….Hanzo
Olbermann for Press Secretary! There would probably be a lot less he was not aware of. And, as an extra bonus, he could be unintentionally funnier than Gibbs.
Kudos to Jon Stewart for pointing out the obvious about poor old Keith.
Keith Olbermann needs electro-shock therapy for his own good, (it is apparent that the drugs don't seem to be working for him).
I think it was a take down of Olbermann. You are 100% correct in the cesspool ideology of the left. They all stink.
um, Stewart DID point out several other olbermann idiocies. Comment on malkin especially.
