The Dems face annihilation later this year, IMHO- and won’t be trusted with the purse strings again for decades-
ObamaCare is still far from a done-deal… regardless, the political damage is substantial for the Left- they’ve succeeded in scaring the country half-to-death. Dear Leader has absolutely painted himself and his whole party into a corner with this ill-conceived statist power-grab… and it will most likely cripple his entire presidency.
Cap-n-tax? With the evidence looking weak lately, Obama’s own #s tanking… and 10% unemployment? Small wonder nervous Dems are begging him to 86 the bill already.
The only major legislation enacted has been the wholly-ineffective Porkulus. Obama has NO political cover on that fiscal flame-out… due to the paucity of GOP collaborators, he owns it. But all this print-money scheme will ever stimulate is inflation… in the months leading right-up to midterms.
Today’s power-drunk Democrats are looking at a bloodbath next fall, with some predicting a 100 seat loss.
By 2012, most people will wince at the very mention of the name “Obama”- and the GOP could take 40 states running Gilbert Gottfried-
Party’s over kiddies- time to put the grownups back in charge… and you can start by getting your damn mitts out of the cookie jar!

GO BABY GO! Obama MUST be drooling ion his own slobber
Faith is Crucial to Victory. You Gotta Believe…Go Brown Indeed.
May I just say I think it's absolutely hilarious that the Kennedys (who have made no secret of disliking Coakley) always call her "Marcia" in speeches? When your own party can't even get your name right at your own support rally, that's embarrassing.
In defense of "Marcia", I'm not sure that Patches Kennedy can even get his own name right in his more lubricated moments.
I don't know much of anything about him, to be honest. I take it the apple doesn't fall far from the tree?
I love Ray Stevens! Another favorite musical social commentary of his is "Would Jesus Wear a Rolex (on His Television Show)?"
I promised to the election gods that if Brown wins I'll root for the Red Sox! me a 'other' sox fan
It must be true!

Good Luck Scott, I hope you win big today. This upset would add an interesting look into the elections later this year.
in teh markee on BH homepage there is a link to some Ratzeberger comments while he was at a Brown ralley.
holy cow that was tha laugh of the day.
Just cast my vote for Brown. This is a huge day here in Mass.
if a republican actually wins this seat, I belive it might be a sign of the apocaylpse. This just shouldn't be possible.
What will the aftermath look like?
This may be a pivotal moment in America's history.
Ladies and Gentleman of Massachusetts! You have an opportunity to help our country stay on the right path that was started (election-wise) in New Jersey and Virginia. Voting for Mr. Brown will show the Powers-That-Be that they will not steamroller us into submission. Blue Dogs beware also…Your time is up!
God Bless You, Mr. Brown!
GO BROWN! Take back America!
Now I want to talk about Campaign Finance.
Why is it illegal for me, a small business owner/employee who works as a contractor to the Federal Government to contribute to political issues because I might benefit from it (for instance by getting increased defense spending).
But Government Employee Unions can contribute MILLIONS of dollars supporting stuff that lines their pocket all the time.
How is this Equal Treatment under the law?
I'd like an intelligent discussion of this topic where we all learn more.
Thanks, (Also posted at Big Gov)

I think these words have never rung more true…
Elwood: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
Jake: Hit it.
Go Scott!
hell, I'm a Yankees fan and even I will root for the Red Sox if Brown wins.
"What will the aftermath look like? "
The zombies in congress witll filter out into the street to attempt to take over the world in their search for braaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnssss
Brown will win today and today only. The democrats will find boxes of ballots they 'forgot' to count. Just as they did in Minnesota and Washington state. "Marcia" Coakley will "win"
well of course, I mean that's a given. but then what?
God bless you.
if he wins by less than 4-5 points, we will not know who actually won till summer. Minn with Franken and Coleman is probably a good approximation.
may the Lord have mercy on us all.
What worries me is this could all be part of their plan. The left may appear stupid, but those that make it to the top of the democratic political gut pile aren't stupid.
They must see what this is going to do to their numbers in congress, yet they continue on. Why?
I believe they'd be happy to lose one or both houses to the GOP. Obama didn't campaign on his proposals – they changed daily depending upon his audience. He campaigned on beating Bush – who wasn't even running. If the dems hold both houses in 2010, then he has absolutely nothing to run on in 2012.
Oh they'll try to run against Bush, and they'll complain of GOP resistance in the congress, both will ring hollow, and show what an empty suit the left has become.
No, Obama needs a straw man to fight for re-election. If they ram all this through, get the laws on the books, lose the majority in one house or another, then immediately start campaigning on the reason the laws are so atrocious are because the GOP took one or both houses, and they blocked the dems from finishing their work.
This is all moving far to synchronous for some sort of plan not to be in the works. In other words, be careful what you wish for, you might just get it.
There's a very good chance it will splinter the dems beyond repair, at for the rest of this congress.
Currently Obama, Emanuel, Reid and Pelosi are ruling through fear: vote how we tell you and we'll do everything we can to get you reelected, don't, and we'll do the same for our hand picked primary candidate against you.
To break that hold, all the dems have to do is fear their own voters more than they fear their leadership.
Threats from Pelosi and Reid to fight against them aren't going to mean anything if they're sure the voters will do the same.
If that happens, I see congress grinding to a near halt. And yes, that would be a good thing.
Thank you Sir!
Can any of the regular posters here, from the Massachusetts area keep us posted on the returns here on the open thread?
The last thing I want to do is have to rely on the MSM for accurate returns.
Father O'Malley rose from his bed. It was a fine spring day in his new Washington, D.C. parish. He walked to the window of his bedroom to get a deep breath of air and to see the beautiful day outside.
He then noticed there was a jackass lying dead in the middle of his front lawn. He promptly made a phone call. The conversation went like this:
"Good morning. This is Speaker Pelosi. How might I help you?"
"And the best of the day to yerself. This is Father O'Malley at St.Brigid's. There's a jackass lying dead in me front lawn. Would ye be so kind as to send a couple o'yer lads to take care of the matter?"
Speaker Pelosi, considering herself to be quite a wit, replied, "Father, it was always my impression that you people took care of last rites!"
There was silence on the line for a moment, and Father O'Malley replied:
"Aye, that's certainly true, but we are also obliged to first notify the next of kin."
Did you get any impressions at the polls of the overall attitude? First time voters of either party would especially be interesting.
There will be a lot of sport in watching the humilitation of the MSM today, particularly MSDNC. Watch for Olbermann to have a complete breakdown tonight.
I love this friggen song.
I'm harboring more than "feelings" . . .
we'll all go tribal after that; dems and leftys attempting to live at one with mother Gaia, no clue how to survive in the wild and ending up eaten by said zombies anyway as they are so anti-gun. Those of us on the right, we neanderthal rednecks who have managed to cling to our God an our guns doing just fine.
You know, that's almost tempting enough to make me want to actually watch that dunce.
That's why the first count counts best. If he wins by more than 10% there probably wont be a Frankenvote recount
The apple cider doesn't fall far from the bridge…
You can do it!
there is a funny short film script in there for someone
if he was melting into a puddle or
being torn apart by wild boars or
on the recieving end of flung monkey feces or
curled up in the fetal position sucking his thumb
I wouldn't watch him
Notice I said "almost"
NO!!! If Scott Brown wins….I WANT IT TO BE OLBERMAN WHO TELLS ME!!!
I want to hear it from Olberman's mouth!
Oh! The humanity!
Adorable!
Go Scott Brown–#41! The eyes of the nation are upon you!

in the works actually, but in line behind two other projects I am working on at the moment *lol*.
I don't know. Those Massachusettstanis are a deeply traditional people with a culture very different from ours. A Kennedy-based political system is all they've ever known. I wonder if they are truly ready for Democracy…
Did someone say "monkey feces?" If so, I got 'em covered…
GO SCOTT BROWN!! GO SCOTT BROWN!! GO SCOTT BROWN!! GO SCOTT BROWN!!
I can't think of a more appropriate memorial for the Late Murderer Senator Ted Kennedy than for Scott Brown's election success, save the car Mary Jo Kopechne died in to place on top of his grave. No egg on Scott Brown's face….he's already won, if he loses the election, the people are awakened to see the Democratic Political Machine in full action.

Any "Big Love" watchers here? I'm LOL this season.
man that was good
You get the Patriot Post too?
How about if the bridge is out?
no but my dad might. he sent it to me first
I've never heard of it, info please?
http://patriotpost.us/
They have a variety of automated emails, I get a Patriot quote every business day, humor email about once a week (this joke was in it), and a couple of others from them.
I especially enjoy the quotes from historic figures. I've pasted several of them over the past year, when I think its appropriate to the discussion.
Of course, now this proves I'm not as smart as I might otherwise come off as. But it's a price I'm willing to pay.

God Bless & GOOD LUCK!
The vote heard around the world!
If this happens, I will never utter another negative word about the fine folks in Massachusetts ever again.
And that'll be hard — since I'm a Yankees fan.
Poor frozen Roman! I'll miss him, too.
Love Nicki! Notice her pocket that money from Marjean?
I like "Big Love" a lot. Sad to see Harry Dean Stanton depart, but J.J. looks like he'll pick up the slack in the creepy character department.
