Name this movie: An ace CIA operative, condemned as a rogue and now hunted by the Company, bashes and crashes his way through colorful foreign settings, pursued by heavily armed hit men, while back at Langley headquarters an inscrutable deputy director and one of his top lieutenants are arousing the...

Happy New Year! Let it be known that 2010 is the year of the Conservative.
From your mouth to God's ears!
……"Happy New Year! Let it be known that 2010 is the year of the Conservative"
What a Racist Selfish comment

Happy New Year
Once-presidential phrase casualty of word war
DETROIT (AP) – In its annual effort to protect the Queen's English, a Michigan university is insisting that "shovel ready" be buried, "tweet" be tossed and all "czars" be banished.

/WooHooo !
Thank you and Speaking of Rush and racist you should see the vile comments the libs are leaving all over the web about Rush, sickening.
One question: What's up with Charlie Sheen's hair? Dude. Not a good look…
My final thoughts for this year:
1, Prayers up for Rush. We need him healthy and back behind the Golden EIB microphone.
2. Kudos and prayers also for our own Founding Father, Andrew Breitbart. Thank you, Andrew, for all the BIGs you have given us this year. May 2010 be even more successful. You are a treasure.
God Bless Rush, any may he a full and speedy recovery!
When Harry Met Sally. i watched it again recently and it's still one of the funniest movies ever made. i've been revisiting a lot of films from that general era (thanks, netflix) and some are still as funny as ever, i.e. Tootsie, and some are getting the 'meh' rating, i.e. Ghostbusters.
I agree–I love Billy Crystal and Bruno Kirby in this movie. One of my favorite scenes is when Kirby and Fisher are moving in together and you just know that there is no way he is winning the battle of the wagonwheel coffee table. I laugh every time I see him coming out of the apartment with the table tucked under his arm. Fisher's line is something like: "Everyone likes to think they have a sense of style and a sense of humor, but it just isn't true." Hilarious!
The squirrels in his attic have been hiding their nuts in there.
Hehehe. Is it a wig or something? I am serious…
Hmmm…but I thought they wanted civility and decency in politics rather than personal attacks? Did I miss something?
Have a Happy New Year everyone, and here's to 2010. May it be a lot better than 2009 was.
The telegraph put up their top 10 movies with a conservative message…
I was disappointed to see that "The Kingdom" and "The Incredibles" didn't make the cut.
You didn't get the memo: OK for me, not OK for thee.
Liberals only tolerate what is in lock-step with what they believe in:
1) the supremacy of the state
2) the homogenization of the media
3) feelings over facts
4) God, right and wrong, and clarity are not allowed.
Mean…but funny.
Typical Bad Boy doo…

I also rather liked Facing The Giants.

The wagonwheel coffee table scene cracks me up no matter how many times I see this movie!
Random thought watching that clip- Meg Ryan was so beautiful and then she had to go get the fake lips, botox, etc and it ruined her looks. I am a female approaching forty and would never destroy my face like that!
Just found this NEW horror story about CO2. Just kidding:
Gas Injections Could Reduce Fat, Researchers Reveal

Any Scrubs fans out there remember the episode where Carla's brother tricked Turk into repeating lines from When Harry Met Sally at their rehearsal dinner? Classic.
Happy New Year and be safe out there!!!
Oh, golly, that's right. I guess I haven't been sufficiently indoctrinated yet. Just you wait, nolo, and in a few months I'll be spouting the glories of universal health care and the evils of talk radio.
Wishing a happy and prosperous New Year to all!!
I thought Kill Bill was an awesome take on the cowboy movie genre, with throwbacks to cowboy movies' inspiration–japanese samurai flicks.
Can one really be "mean" to a fellow that breaks a woman's arm and holds a knife to another's throat?
How about literally. . . banish the czars?
Amen and amen.
Yes, you paid attention to what comes out of their mouths. Ignore that, watch their actions.
Ha! Yes! Scrubs = funny all the time.
Happy New Year! Party like it's 1776!
Word!
Really? Gas makes me feel bloated.
I like Pulp Fiction. So over the top it worked, in my opinion.
In honor of New Year's celebrations, here's a spliced video compilation of great comedic drunk moments (featuring Bill Cosby, Senator Baucus on health care reform, and Elaine from Seinfeld): http://www.optoons.blogspot.com
i think the Bolsheviks may have had a better idea…
i do, too. it's probably on the list of movies conservatives aren't supposed to like- just one of those bizarrely entertaining films. among its many good lines: Butch (Bruce Willis) chatting with the hot foreign-born cabbie- "We're Americans. Our names don't mean shit."

Correctamundo! Samuel L. Jackson is a hoot.
I love all of Tarantino's movies, including "Inglourious Basterds". That first scene in the French farmhouse was outstanding.
To each his own, I guess.
Aside and stating the obvious, Ted's seat was vacant when he sat in it, what will it take for Mass to
see what is happening to this country and they are at the forefront of the changing it ?
They're great ancestors were there at the founding of this country,
the state that is an important part of our history yet they willingly toss it all in the pond as Robert above
stated to have folks like Barney and Ted as their reps.
I thought Christophe Waltz (Landa) was amazing, but was disappointed we didn't learn more about the Basterds themselves. It had its' moments, but not great. Both 'Kill Bills' have been running on IFC…they have really grown on me over the years. I still think "Jackie Brown" is his best. He may be pretentious, but no-one puts a soundtrack to a film more lovingly and fittingly than Tarantino.
An open letter to President Obama: Here is a simple plan for how to resolve the problem of Gitmo. It takes advantage of a bizarre contradiction in your moral compass.
Step 1: Release Gitmo prisoners to the border area of Afghanistan/Pakistan.
Step 2: Launch unmanned Predator attack on Gitmo prisoner drop zone.
Problem solved! (Don't worry, I don't expect a public expression of thanks. The knowledge that I helped you destroy terrorists while keeping your conscience unsullied is reward enough.)
I enjoyed her for a long time too, but she should have stuck to comedy. Her one foray into serious roles was…disappointing, to say the least…
She got the trout pout.
Imagine Obama looking DIRECTLY into the camera then speaking off-the-cuff WITHOUT his teleprompter…
Whoa!
That was like a trainwreck in slow-motion.
Yes, please.
I think it should be more along the lines of "What's up with Charlie Sheen's life? Dude. Not a good life…" He really needs redemption. Maybe if his life get's fixed he'll have better taste in hair styles. :>)
I agree; I ave emailed every friend who I know is frustrated with the National Republican party and suggested that they give Brown the money they used to send the GOP.
Watched the movie Inglorious Bastards last night. What a piece of crap it was. What the hell is going on in Hollyweird. I suspected with Terrantino directing it it may suck. But it was BAD. Made no sense. I have no idea what people see in this mans directing. Not one of his movies had impressed me. A Hitchcock he is not. If special effects such as scalping people and blowing peoples heads off were what they were 30 years ago he would have nothing to film. The man sucks.
I am surprised that the national republican party and the conservative press are not pulling out all the stops to help elect Scott Brown to the US Senate seat from Massachusetts on January 19th? This guy is fabulous! Photogenic, with an equally photogenic and talented family. Currently a republican state senator, and a former Cosmo centerfold, he oozes charisma. He is running against Martha Coakley, the usual Democratic aparatchik styled political hack, for the late Ted ( a blonde in every pond ) Kennedy's vacant seat. Brown is running in a state that has more independant voters than registered for either main party. If he were to be elected he would break the 60 seat starnglehold Harry the dishrag has on the Senate, and perhaps defeat the Health Care debacle before it passes.
B. Kirby, Jr. We lost him way too soon.
"I'll have what she had"
Yes!
Having worked in medicine for 40 years, a hearty YES! I love this show!
Now that was funny!
I was in love with Meg Ryan until she went crazy, screwed around on Dennis Quaid with Russell Crowe, and revealed herself to be a slut.
Too bad.
She reminded me of the girl next door.
Now she reminds me of the girl on the street corner.
