I agree completely. I hope CBS doesn't turn NCIS into another "politically correct" borefest.

last nite i'm sitting in a shoe store in Asheville, NC (the Boulder/Berkeley of Appalachia) and i overhear an employee mention a tv show about the new Geo. H. W. Bush aircraft carrier. i'm thinking, "uh oh, here it comes…" nope- all four employees thought it was really cool/fascinating, etc.

i thought i'd fallen into a parallel universe…

What are Hollywood writers all stupid? Islam is not a peaceful religion. There have been centuries of warfare and carnage by the Jidhadists. Since 2001 how many instances have we had of native born Muslims suddenly getting religion and planning atrocities or actually executing them as in Fort Hood. There is a major disconnet from what we see on TV and the media and what is reality. Hollywood producers say Islam is a peaceful religion and yet we read the exact opposite almost every day. I used to like NCIS but now that it is assuming political correctness in its scripts I'm thinking of deserting that crew. Until our leaders, both political and thought leaders, recognize the full evil of Islam we are going to witness and experience more tragedies like 9/11. We have to face the full evil of Islam and combat it on the battlefield, in churches, and in everyday life.

NCIS is my favorite television show, but last night just turned me off. If they keep this up they will lose this viewer for sure.

Ditto. I watched NCIS:LA afterwards with the hope that they would undo the damage, so I was doubly disappointed. Ironically, the old JAG Christmas episodes were on Sleuth yesterday, so I'd watched them on the DVR before NCIS came on and had a real feel-good experience with those story lines. Based on the two NCIS "Christmas" episodes, it's clear that Bellisario is no longer at the helm of this once-great franchise.

The only way to stop this insanity going on in Hollywood is to turn off the show! The only way to get your point across is through their pocketbook!!!

Military DUTY vs. a job.. A cop has a job he can quit in the middle of a gunfight…A soldier must do or die.. If you are searching for roles models.. Pick the men and women who man the walls of our country, they have placed their lives on the line to allow this country to survive. The men and women who are serving and who have served in MILIARY UNIFORM deserve nothing less than a place of honor.

The minute I saw the "prayer rug" I told my wife it was going to be a sappy white wash of the Muslim faith and I turned the shit off…..I'm so sick of the major networks pandering to the Muslims I could start yelling nasty words at my TV.

Hey, Islam is a religion of peace. You just have to convert or else pay taxes and face blatant discrimination. Oh, and if you're a woman, show absolutely no skin whatsoever, and do everything your husband tells you to. Now I don't think it's unreasonable to cut off someone's head if they disobey those rules, do you?

speaking of the United States Marine Corps…

we spent a fabulous rainy Sunday afternoon at the new Marine Corp Museum in Quantico, Va. The combination of history, honour, nobility and sacrifice were breathtaking. Interactive dioramas include the Frozen Chosin and Khe Sanh- where you come out of th simulated tail of a CH-47 onto the LZ surrounded by hostile NVA forces.

The temperature of the exhibit- as in the Chosin reservoir- are manipulated to give you a sense of the conditions.

The Iwo Jima phase included both the real flag photographed on Mt Suribachi, plus a curving wall with one USMC globe and anchor for each casualty.

There are 6,000 of them. It took only 36 days…

The tour guides are all former Marines who are totally honored to be there representing the History- and their fallen comrades.

We cannot recommend this enough…

My husband is a soldier, but my cousins are cops. I have to interject – it's a duty to them as well, and I'm thankful they volunteer to do it.

sorry … a cop has a job even though it is important it is still just a job.. in the military you can be shot or jailed for not doing your duty..I never heard of a cop facing a firing squad for cowardice, they might not even get fired.

I just e-mailed CBS a very long complaint. There are several complaints under the short video they have up on CBS.com. Even my 17 year old son thought it was ridiculous and felt preached at. I felt slightly sick throughout the whole episode.

Did anybody follow that link at the top of the page to the article about the Indiana second graders? During a "multicultural holiday" celebration, they refused to mention any religious deities by name – except for Allah. They rehearsed a song that said, among other things, "Allah is God, Allah be with you." The songs mentioned Christmas, Hanukkah, Ramadan, Kwanzaa and Las Posadas, but when it came to the Christmas bit, they sang, "I didn’t know there was a little boy at the manger. What child is this? I’m not sure if there was a little boy or not." And this was in a public school. They were singing that Allah is God, but that they didn't know if Jesus Christ existed or not. Parents quite obviously threw a fit.

Homeschool is looking better and better by the day.

Anyone see the Iron Man 2 trailer? The opening shows Tony Stark at a hearing trying to fend off politicians from confiscating his intellectual property. It's a great trailer.

I thought the South Park episode where the soldiers confused a goat for Stevie Nicks was just a dumb joke- until I heard this. She really DOES sound like a goat.
