Myers had a ton of success with Austin Powers, and the various cameos he does still hit the mark.

Chase always thought he was bigger than he actually is, and it showed. Other than the a few movies (the first Fletch, 3 of the 4 Vacation movies, Caddyshack) he's like nails on a chalkboard on screen to me.

So the Cubans can tell everyone how great the health care system is there and how we're fools for not embracing a version of it here. At least, that's what they'll say if they know what's good for them.

Well I don't know that much about him but I've never gotten that impression from the little bits that I have paid attention to.

Not to change the jovial tenor of todays comments but, the travails of Fergie,
the Black Eyed Peas and their financial misfortunes seem like a large bit of bad luck.
Apparently not too discriminating in their hiring practices for managers and accountants
they have run afoul of the IRS for a rather large amount of dough. Its seems they have had a bit of success and
are at the top of their game and something like this has to happen. I'm not a violent person but doesn't this just
make one want to go out and just punch out say Perez Hilton?

BTW, it doesn't take bad fortune for the BLECH eyed peas to make me want to punch Perez Hilton.

Yeah, that decision by Rodger Goodell, if I spelled his name correctly,

Yesterday, I got a notification in my mail box saying "You need to shovel your sidewalk. The USPS won't deliver packages to your door until you do, and if it's not done in a timely fashion we'll withhold all your mail." Not fifteen minutes later (I hadn't even begun to think about grabbing the snow shovel), the FedEx driver rang my doorbell, handed me a huge package, said "Have a good evening" and left. All with a huge smile on his face.

Throughout that exchange, all I could think of was government run health care.

I wouldn't give Chase too much credit for Caddyshack, that was pure Dangerfield and Murray(sp?). Chase was probably the most unfunny part of that movie.

I don't know how much Halliday to the Phillies makes them better. If he doesn't pull a Cliff Lee in the playoffs there will be grumbling….But getting him sure don't hurt!!

That's easy, English was the best invented language – all languages were invented.

English has a very unique attribute, its very easy to create new words from existing words. That was one of the reasons the information and computer industry started here. In the process of creating new technologies as fast as engineers were doing, they needed to be able to quickly create words to describe them.

Try coming up with a string of Chinese characters to describe bi-polar junction transistor.

The Cubans do have a great health care system, for the party and military leaders. The rest, not so much.

Patients need to bring their own linen, blankets and pillows, and wash them themselves – unless you have family to do it. I think patients that can eat need to provide their own meals too.

It would have to be a very long flight of stairs, that end off a cliff preferably…..

I'm very happy for the Ms. They got two quality players. Lee, paired with King Felix, should improve their rotation immensely, provided they stay healthy. ddaichiro2, I'm a Yankee fan, and believe me it's always appreciative when your team goes out and spends, and trades to improve, in order to win. Spending offers no guarantees, but not doing anything significant assures losing. I will be looking forward to going to some Mariner games next season, or should I say upcoming season.
