Go Bill! — O’Reilly Hammers Dick Wolf and ‘Law & Order: SVU’
by Big Hollywood–
“No accident it happened on NBC, which is propaganda central in the U.S.A. It’s also the lowest rated network.”
This week’s episode of “Law & Order: SVU” featured a character played by John Larroquette talking to a detective and saying, “Limbaugh, Beck, O’Reilly, all of ‘em, they are like a cancer spreading ignorance and hate…They’ve convinced folks that immigrants are the problem, not corporations that fail to pay a living wage or a broken health care system…”
O’Reilly said the clip was “defamatory and outrageous” and played clips from past episodes of his Fox News program that showed the host defending “poor people who only want a better life.”
Me: In a wild coincidence, on my way out of the movies, I passed right by John Laroquette at the mall Tuesday night. I was wondering what the hell he’s been up to. Now I know…

Irony must be a foreign concept to airhead liberals. This leftwing ignoramus, Dick Wolf, is advocating for lawlessness on our southern border and violation of our immigration laws while producing a show called “Law & Order.”
Liberals:
Support illegal immigration
Support child rapists
Support cop killers
Support teaching children xxx rated material
Support limiting our freedoms
Support confiscating our wealth
Support nationalization of private industries ala the fascist
Support total govt control over our healthcare
Al Qaeda is nowhere near the enemy that the democrat party and its leadership are.
Revolution 2010: throw out every fascist democrat and spineless rino.
Maybe O'reilly ought to quit sucking up to liberals all the time and quit trying to make "nice" all the time. He loves appearing on The View and other liberal shows, and is totally afraid of confronting the facts of Obama's tyrannical administration and goals.
Is anyone surprised by Law & Order anymore? It should change it's name to Liberals & Their Fantasies.
Damn – I got bad news! Dick Wolf isn't the only one. Last night, I flipped on a repeat of the latest NCSI – Los Angeles. And in the first five minutes, I got a kick in my Christian teeth. The scene started with the main characters entering their work station to be startled to find all of their desks unexpectedly neat and tidy. Whereupon another actor enters to explain. Grinning at the others, the actor says 'Well, you know what they say. Cleanliness is next to……" And there it stopped.
That 'next to…..' hovered in the air for nearly half a year while the actor just waved his arms in the air refusing to speak the dreaded "G" word; the other characters refused to say it also. Finally, the actor gave up and flopped his arms back and wouldn't say the "G" word at all.
I could have screamed! This is what television has sunk to. Now even SAYING the word 'godliness' is too much. Forget about putting it into the script, they won't even put it into words. Damn, Dick Wolf has cloned himself.
NBC – Must Flee TV
Classic!
Excuse me – I meant to say "NCIS – Los Angeles". Sorry.
To their credit, Big Hollywood has been calling out Dick Wolf and L&O for quite some time. The only reason that O'Reilly said anything at all is because his own name was mentioned in the clip. He really should still be an entertainment reporter.
If I wanted to slap Bill O'Reilly on the back I would have to use my left hand.
You missed: Support pedophilia through Jennings & GLSEN.
And Roman Polanski
Really Bill you've got to quit the populist shtick, it ain't working. All you're doing is pissing off your friends and emboldening your our political enemies. The left does not care to get along with you, or debate ideas; their only wish is to bury folks like you and me, and they will lie, cheat, defame and denigrate any who stand in their way to achieve those ends.
I'm not the world's biggest O'Reilly fan, but I happened to catch his show last night. When he played the Laroquette clip, I couldn't quite believe I was hearing it, even knowing what a left wing forum L&O had become. But then I was very impressed with O'Reilly. That was genuine righteous indignation, or he's the best actor on TV. He called them out. Liars. Defamers. Good for him. I'd like to see a little more of this kind of fire about these leftists from others. Sometimes it's just politics. This was personal.
Law and Order is only preaching to their choir and that number is very, very low. I thought the show was canceled years ago.
I saw this last night, and thought, what a shame. I used to enjoy L&O, and it and it's other versions have consistently gone down hill.
O'Reilly you've played the fair and balanced card long enough and I respect you for it.. Now it's time to take the gloves off and go bare knuckles. The gloves? Leave them… in their faces.
Right now, Dick Wolf wants nothing more than to take away "gunsmoke"s record as the longest running TV show (by seasons, L&O will never reach the episode count for Gunsmoke), and he'll do anything to ensure going on, even with low numbers. So by playing to the Obama-mania of Imelt and Zucker is just making sure Wolf can get his record.
Not to say that Wolfie isn't a true liberral believer, he is! But going far left (more than he has in other seasons) is the best way to stay on the air on NBDNCTV!
Pure GE. Immelt and Zucker have no shame. Left-wing lunancy.
G'day from Melbourne, Australia;
We just had the episode 'Exchange' last night where two British students who were researching alternative energy are killed in a fire. Lupo theorises that they were murdered by Big Oil and pretty much calls Bernard an idiot for not buying into that.
Of course it actually involved some guy who was keeping his mentally ill sister locked up and wanted to kill her. I think the sister set the fire in an attempted escape. The bastard gets 20 to life in the end.
Having not seen the episode because I don't watch much TV, I can't really argue with you. But the way you describe the scene makes me think you're reading more into it than may actually be there. Are you sure the point wasn't that the characters didn't know how the saying ended, and that the character speaking the line decided that it thus wasn't worth the effort of finishing the conversation (or even the sentence)?
I have to agree, O'Reilly has gotten soft
I love me some Larua Ingraham.
The only show that I watch on NBC anymore is "Mercy" and that's cause it's not a piece of crap (yet anyway…. as Heroes turned to crap)…. so when I saw the commercial for that episode of SVU for right after I couldn't change the channel fast enough…. I typically can stand SVU but that was just a little too far….
His favorite saying on his show:
"And the conservatives do it too." Fence sitting wuss.
I was an extra on an episode of Law and Order ("Talking Points") in which Ann Coulter is portrayed as a heartless whore by a woman who made it clear to we audience extras that she hates Ann Coulter and is nothing like her. We knew that – she couldn't even pronounce "irrelevant." They must have had her do that scene 9 or 10 times and every time she was supposed to say "irrelevant" she said "irrevelant." They ended up dubbing it.
That episode was all about embryonic stem cell research, the research of yesterday. It's a little painful to watch, but it was fun pretending to be a protester. Only things I protested in college were smelly hippies.
" which Ann Coulter is portrayed as a heartless whore by a woman who made it clear to we audience extras that she hates Ann Coulter "?
Sounds like the Olbermann verison of Ann.
I honestly can't recall a single show or event I've watched on NBC since Seinfeld. I don't even watch the NFL games due to the presence of Olbermann (great choice there NBC, politicize football).
I've seen the episode and you're right, Carolyn's complaint is out of context. The reason why the man wouldn't finish his sentence is because he didn't like the fact everything was clean either. Somebody cleaned their office without consulting them. He was just as disgruntled as they were and didn't really want to compare cleanliness to godliness as an offense to cleanliness rather than godliness. I mean, who likes getting their space cleaned against their will?
Bill is a wiggly conservative. He knows how to wiggle around topics so the Left figures he at least has some respect for them. But when all is said and done, Bill is still a huckster. The only difference is that he is less a huckster than the others. But I tell ya, if I had to direct a movie with a river boat gambler in it, Bill would be the man. Beck? I would have him as Barnum and Bailey's press agent, and maybe oput there selling big boxes with two pieces of candy in them.
are you one of those people that tries to baffle everyone with your similes and homilies that only you understand what you are saying, but still think you are immensely clever for saying it in a way only you can understand?
NCIS: LA sucks. It's a terrible show. I stopped watching it after the first episode. Stick to the original NCIS, it's WAY better.
Fictional characters, obviously, are supposed to represent all types of personalities no matter how angelic or hideous they are. It would be boring if they didn’t, therefore nobody would watch. So the great entertainers at NBC…wait maybe that is why they are “must flee TV.” Sorry NBC, one-sided propaganda just isn’t good entertainment. I haven’t watched network TV in years for this reason.
There are no NBC offerings I watch now. The last one I considered worth the time was "Medium", and it has moved to CBS. That was really smart on the 'must flee TV' suit's part.
What was up with that move, anyway?

N B C Does that mean Nasty Backstabing Crybabies? At least that is keeping it within acceptable language.
O'Reilly has never been a conservative. He's a populist. Sometimes he agrees with conservatives, sometimes he doesn't. Compared to the MSM, that makes him seem waaaaaaay out of the mainstream, but he's hardly in the conservative camp. Never has been. Never will be.
That clip from L&O is the real hate speech. You can practically hear the writers' venom dripping off the script as the Laroquette speaks the words.
RSGO: You are so right. Either that was the performance of Laroquette's life, or he and the scriptwriters are absolutely consumed with hatred for anything and everything not on the Obama left.
Is Chuck back yet? The only thing I watch on NBC now.
Are you people out of your minds? What makes you think the comment represented the views of the producers? The comment about O'Reilly was made by a DEFENSE LAWYER SHILLING FOR HIS CLIENT — the main characters of SVU disagreed with the lawyer and ridiculed his defense.
In his diatribe against Dick Wolf, O'Reilly also claimed that Law & Order recently ran an episode that made a hero out of the abortionist Dr. George Tiller. But the episode — which was praised by a columnist on this very board as being a fair and balanced presentation of the pro-life position — did no such thing. Far from it. In fact, the show implied that a late-term abortion doctor had in fact murdered a baby after delivering it during a botched abortion.
Whine all you want about Hollywood lefties, but at least get your facts straight.

Same here. I was actually looking forward to the show because Louise Lombard was in the "pilot" that ran on the regular show only to find when the show actually started her part had been re-cast. First C.S.I., then NCIS LA. It's just as though, though, I didn't see anything during the first actually episode that made me want to watch it any further.
Nah, sorry. I've been too busy listening to leftie Senator Harry "Murkin Muffley" Reid and leftie Senator Whitewash (or whatever the heck his name is) whine about Rush Limbaugh.
While I wish he was still on L & O, imagine the fireworks behind the scenes if our newest contributor, Mr. Michael Moriarity was going toe to toe with Mr. Wolf. Talk about a WWF smack down…..I'd pay to see that!
Dick Wolf, I have another word that starts with a C but its not cancer. Liberals are disgusting vile people. They are going to get what they have been dishing out all these years, and they are gonna get it ten fold.
fantum : Max Baucus is so endearingly quaint.
I mean, c'mon. A girlfriend ? And only one "significant other" ? That is just so last-century …
I don't watch L&O, mostly because I'm not much of a fan of the procedural cop shows, but my roommate watches it, and since TNT seems to show it at least 12 hours a day it's on in my apartment quite a bit so I hear it in the background when I'm doing other things. I cannot get over how much the show has changed from the old days when Chris Noth and Michael Moriarty were on. It used to be a simple police show, now not an episode goes by without some character either making a crack about the right or spouting some left wing talkng point. They don't even try to hide the bias anymore.
Heave you heard enough yet, Bill???? I think it's time you showed some OUTRAGE for what is really happening in our country!! QUIT trying to ride both sides of the fence…it hasn't worked for a long time!! I realize that Fox news wants to be 'Fair and Balanced' but, my God, there isn't any 'balance' any more!!! These commies are moving so fast to the extreme left, that 'Fair and Balanced' is now meaningless!!!
Wolf really crossed the line of absolute lies when he produced this POS episode.
I was hoping for the possibility that the Comcast's purchase of NBC would at least temper the total one sided liberal stance the network has undertaken. Out of the box Comcast put on the knee pads and assumed the position. Even when Obama bows his rear end can still reached by the appropriate suits.
I canceled my cable. More free time on my hands.
Fcuking Hollywood just spent $400 million to make ONE hate-America clusterfcuk while lowly SAG members in NYC and LA are out-of-work suffering in poverty.
Lowly SAG and Equity members in NYC and Hollywood how does it feel to be so used and abused by your multi-millionaire Celebrity Collectivist overlords who take your dues and spend the money empowering government tyrants?
Actors, directors, writers, musicians, trade members- do you like being incompetent prostitutes for fcuking tyrants?
Stop watering the evil flower and the garden of Hollywood scum cannot grow.
I stopped watching scripted commercial TV dramas, comedies and "made-for-TV movies over three decades ago. I stopped reading reading rags like the nytimes over two decades ago. I gave up on trying to be friendly with liberal acquaintences some where along the line.
Why? Because it became painfully apparent that they were the enemy of all that is good, honest and reasonable. And now we have the worst president ever.
There's a common thread in all this….and dare I say it? Soon……
Where have you been LawHawkSF – I've missed your posts.
Adding to the indoctrination, there was last week's "Bones". Here's the scenario (I've posted this on BH on another thread).
Man dressed as Santa comes into a bank and tells the teller he wants all the money. The teller is bemused until he opens his Santa suit and she sees he is wired as a human bomb. They give him the money. He walks out. By then an APB has gone out and Booth answers it. He gets a bead on Santa, but suddenly Santa EXPLODES. That's right. The guy blows up spewing teeth, hair and eyes all over the concrete. The team is called and they try to figure out why since he got the money. Well, it turns out he didn't. A talk radio hate speecher did it! That's right. A black Rush Limbaugh broadcasting his "hate" on the same megahertz band as the bomb (later discovered to have been put on him by a couple who kidnapped him, injected him with a sedative then wired him. They tracked the perps down, but this was secondary – the real villain was the hate monger broadcasting his screeds against the government. The show ended with the hate monger(a former military man, of course) giving his last broadcast, contrite and sad that he'd "killed a man". This was such unadulterated bovine manure that I wanted to throw up. The broadcaster killed the man! What about the pair who strapped the bomb on him? Well, they did go go jail, but the real villain was the black guy opposing the government who, at the end, sounded like Winston in "1984". "I love Big Brother, I love Big Brother, I love Big Brother."
You see the left wing propaganda creeping into all the shows – it comes from the writers. The shows go on the air, gain an audience, are heavily controlled by the producer, usually Bruckheimer for those worth watching, and then, I suspect, JB goes off to do another project and doesn't have time to supervise every detail. Writers are hired who then inject their liberal toxins into the dialogue and voila', the series gets sicker and sicker until it dies. (Law and Order is moribund). "Bones", for instance, was a good show – both liberal and conservative viewpoints were presented, so it wasn't insulting. Last week's show was insulting. (See above). Blatant political propaganda, no matter from which side it comes, insults the intelligence of the audience and drives them off. I'll give "Bones" another chance, but if it happens again, I'm outa there. They can broadcast to their fellow-traveling useful idiots, but not to me.
I really didn't know who Keith Olbermann was until one morning when I turned on the TV and there was an insipid, know-it-all spouting the most unbelievable crap I'd heard in a long time. It took a minute to figure out it was 2009 and not "1984" and "Big Brother" wasn't broadcasting from my TV, then I remembered I'd been watching a non-Fox channel the night before when I turned off the TV (a rarity. I usually watch Greta at 10 pm).
The insipid know-it-all was Keith Olbermann I found out the following Sunday when we turned on football and there was this blowhard pontificating on football. What is NBC thinking!
Once in awhile I try watching him again – and usually end up turning it off in disgust. The other night I saw he was interviewing John (?) Gibson with his new look and new book. He started off by saying "You're not like those 'right-wingers,' are you, who don't think Obama deserved the Nobel." Ugh. What a self-absorbed jerk. BTW – isn't Gibson's book tile offensive to the Swiftboat vets – or am I reading it wrong? He's trying to make the case that the left has lied to our faces – yet uses the Swiftboats as the analogy for the lying, no?
The "C" doesn't stand for cancer, it stands for *Chemotherapy* to kill those liberal cancer cells.
All of us who have abandoned NBC programming because it basically sucks do no good telling each other that. Obviously NBC understands as its ratings are in the basement, but as long as the advertisers advertise on NBC, they don't much care what WE think. Sort of like the Obama-Reid-Pelosi Triumvirate. Somebody here should suck it up, watch a "Law and Order" ("Low and Odor" is how I childishly refer to it) segment, then post the advertisers. Boycott THEM and you get somewhere. Ask the Lefties. They do it all the time. Remember when they forced the orange juice people to quit advertising on Limbaugh's show even though Limbaugh's audience went out and bought more orange juice than was sold in months? Boycotts work. that's why the Left tell us they don't.
NBC took it's call letters during the Clinton Administration. Nothing Bad about Clinton was the mantra.
Just as ABC was "Always, Bill Clinton" and CBS was Clinton's Broadcasting Stations.
And on the bright side, folks, there are always books. I've tied into a few good ones this year in which the author didn't spout liberal bovine manure. Andrew Klavan's "Empire of Lies" was one of them. A real page turner.
Then there's "Hostile Intent" by Michael Walsh in which the villain is a thinly disguised George Soros. The writer has some problems with head-hopping (as do most these days), however, it's an interesting read. I'm reading "TImebomb" right now (Seymour) in which a nuke has been stolen from the Russian arsenal to be sold to some Arab terrorists — at least that's where I think the book is going. "Caliphate" was badly written but an interesting premise. "No Prayers for the Assassin" was very good especially the backstory which could be happening right now (American president converts to Islam in his second term, South secedes and becomes "Bible Belt" while blue states become Islamic Republic of America). (Don't bother with the second in the series — it's dull). I'm also reading "Hellraisers" a biography on Oliver Reed, Richard Harris, Peter O'Toole and Richard Burton. Very interesting. We don't have to go to the movies or watch TV. There are plenty of books out there to read. (I also wonder why some entrepreneur isn't optioning these books to turn into films starring non-politicians who actually become the character. I think the public is hungry for films without Leftist ideology.)
I am getting sicker of this than one can imagine. I refuse to watch ANY mainstream tv. I can't be the only one. There simply needs to be a boycott of all liberal left wing product. No matter where it is at. TV, theatre, print….whatever. BOYCOTT them, hit them where their hearts are……in their pocketbook.
Speak up Bill, Beck, Limbaugh, all of you start your OWN blackball list so we know who to stick it to.
"Only things I protested in college were smelly hippies. "
Had way too many of those on my campus too. I was still in the reserves at the time and loved walking through them in uniform,l daring them to say something to my face.
Dick Wolf may be a flaming liberal, but that was a "character" spewing out a line. A line that sounds like any typical liberal these days. I have no doubt Dick voted for Obama, but in this instance O'Reilly is acting like that was an editoral aimed at him. I bet he did not watch the entire episode or even put that in proper context. I watched that episode and John Larroquette's character was a scumbag.
That being said, the Law & Order "brand" has been tilting more and more to the left over the past few years….too bad, because it used to be pretty good.
Is NBC still on the air? I figured they closed down long ago – at least they should. The only thing worthwhile there anymore if college and Pro Football.
You and me both!!
[...] Read the whole thing at Big Hollywood. [...]
Just like another contributor…I wondered what John Larroquette was up to. So sorry to see him having to spout this drivel on L & O to pay the rent. I liked him better doing comic turns…or was this portrayal what passes for comedy now?
Right on.
Agreed.
Chuck will be back in January.
I also keep plugging Parks and Recreation. It's a sweet show.
Thursday night on Fox, Bones had a similar theme where somebody robs a bank and blows up a Santa using the same frequency of some evil right wing pirate radio show host. It was actually a rather confusing plot but I am thinking NEA co-ordination.
Law and Order turned me off a long time ago with their politically correct narratives and gratuitous swipes at conservatives, Christians, republicans, well, anyone who isn't a flakey liberal like themselves. I haven't watched the show in years because of that.
Growltiger: Thanks for the "howdy." It's been a hectic few months, and Andrew Price and I have been shepherding our own blogsite. I'm sorry to hear about that Bones episode. The few episodes I've seen always seemed creative, and Booth even had a good Catholic conscience. I hadn't seen any particular political point of view. Sad to hear it's gone off the left cliff.
On the "Ann Coulter" episode another commenter mentioned from a couple of seasons ago, the cops and the lawyers from both sides all made snide remarks about essentially not having a problem with the perp taking a shot at her.
As far as episodic TV, I don't really watch anymore. Why that is, I don't know, there just aint a whole lot that interests me. Everything seems to be either a cop show or doctor/hospital show; Not that there's anything wrong with that.
My parents got me to start watching "Bones" about a year ago, and I enjoy it. However I don't make it an appointment to view. What happened in last weeks episode that was bothersome?
You make a good point in regards to the writing, and it got me to wonder if that may be one of the reasons, for the proliferation for the plethora of reality TV, which I cannot bring myself to watch.
"Really Bill you've got to quit the populist shtick, it ain't working."
O'Reilly has the number one show on cable news, more viewers than all the other shows that run against him combined and four bestselling books. I'd say his populist shtick is working really well.
I've never been able to watch more than three or four minutes of his show. He never lets anyone finish a thought before diving in like an ill-mannered lout.
Has anyone ever gotten up and walked off the set because of this?
I agree. Carolyn, there is enough TRUE offense to people's beliefs to go around. But looking for them under every rock, so to speak, is draining.
Trust me on this. I am not a Christian. I am Jewish. For years I found myself seeking out the offensive where it just plain did not exist. I gave up on that line of thinking and am happier for it. A television program cannot take away your beliefs and your spirituality unless you let it do so.
Every year I hear the complaints about the War On Christmas just because a store says Happy Holidays in their ad copy. That whole thing strikes me as silly.
Close, but not quite. In Rush Limbaugh's case it was Snapple.
The orange juice gerfuffle involved Anita Bryant and her anti-homosexual stance.
Earlier than that one, the "Dodge girl" ads were pulled when the girl herself started giving public speeches about "n*****s" raping white women and gave speeches for, shall we say, less than tolerant organizations.
National Broadcasting Company had, in the beginning, two networks. They were called the red network and the blue network. The anti-trust people put and end to that, so the blue network was spun off. I think it is now what we call ABC. Seems an interesting turn of fate that what remains as NBC is the "red" network.
I gave up around the time they cast (can't think of his name… Belzer?) as the token-Jewish cop who spouts his lines about the evil corporations, the evil talk show hosts, evil guns, and other canned, cliché-ridden, hand-wringing-New-York-Jewish-male-spineless-sniveling-nebbish nonsense. A character I find patently offensive because it IS such a worn-out stereotype. (Plenty of us with guts, and views to the right of center, believe me! Then again, I don't live in New York).
That, and I got REAL tired of the character played by the rapper turned (alleged) actor, who could not recite a single line in the script without sounding hostile.
Well O'Reilly has the right to defend himself, and he should. All you have to do is look at what they United States Senate tried to do with Rush Limbaugh. Rush did the right thing by shoving it right back in Dingy Harry's face to the tune of 4 million dollars. That when to a good cause by the way. I don't watch O'Reilly, not that I have no interest, just don't have Fox news were I live at this time. Rush could not let them get away with it, nor can O'Reilly or anybody else. As for the program in Question, never bothered.
Yeah – you guys tell it like it is. A show refuses to say the word 'godliness' and — it's nothing, folks. Yawn, chill out, Carolyn, you're reading 'too much' into this. So there's a vast empty space where the word 'God' once stood. Nothing but silence and emptiness in its place.
And I'm just a ninny for being scared about that because – nature abhors a vacuum and when you eliminate the good, than something else takes its place. Something like 'Obama, mmm mmm mmmm' hummed by school children. Or 'God DAMN America!' screamed by Rev. Wright – or "I've never been proud to be an American" . When you eliminate God, than there's nothing left in the void to contradict a president who calls himself a Christian yet has refused to set foot in church since his election in 2008. And without the moral guidelines required by God, there's nothing in the vacuum to be upset when the words 'if I am elected, my administration will be transparent, it will not be business as usual' contradict with reality.
Words are powerful. And their power exists in being spoken. When the good words are not, when those good words are eliminated – than different words must occupy their place. It doesn't scare you people – but it scares me. It scares me because it is terrifying. Evil always is.
Hi LawHawk,
Along with Andrew, you have one of the most thought provoking blogs (COMMENTARAMA) out there and where you find the time to watch these shows…well, I guess everyone needs some down time or maybe you never sleep? I'm just glad to see you on here once in a while-say hi to Andrew.
Thanks, Alvaro. I'll pass on your message to Andrew. We have been busy, believe me. As for sleep, we're very popular these days–vampires (like lawyers) don't need sleep, just blood. LOL We're cutting back a bit for the Christmas season, so it gives us time to visit with our families and friends as well as visit our old favorite sites like Big Hollywood. I know I miss having enough time to hang out with the old gang here, a lot.
I was trying to keep it in the dark and now you've shed some light on the subject-hope you survive! Yes, we're all spending a little more time together-I just had dinner with my family and we actually stayed home (together) for a change. It was good day.
Alvaro: Dark is good for lawyers and vampires. Glad to hear you're getting to spend time with your family. In case I go AWOL again, I want to wish you and everybody else at BH a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Thanks for the list. It's concise and worth using as a starting point when the un-informed ask…'What's wrong with Liberals/Democrats ?'
Hi Alvaro, Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad to hear you like the blog. We do our best. I'm glad to see that you're still at Big Hollywood.
My point was his populist gig didn’t, and won’t, insulate him from unfair attacks from the left. A point I thought I made clear above, but obviously it was lost on you. I like O’Reilly, and I’m glad he is successful, but his “both sides are the same” crap is nonsense and only causes me to get mad at him.
Nice!
I agree that the liberal Jewish angle is worthy of discussion but your totalizing rhetoric (and your bad punctuation) don't help make your case. Also, Tim Geithner is not Jewish. You may want him to be, but he isn't.
Complain about Jewish leftists all you want, but get your facts straight.
Hi Andrew, we've got to stop meeting like this and no-they haven't gotten rid of me yet! I haven't posted lately 'cause I've been working on some new work, finally! Hopefully there will be a show sometime in 2010. Take care and keep up the great work.
"Bones" has it's liberal (Hodgkins) who at first was irritating but now is a lovable fellow-traveling useful idiot (filthy rich so liberal policies won't affect him). Bones herself is a wonderful character who takes everything so literally, she has no position on anything that isn't proven science. Booth, is a former military sniper whom Bones chastises for his faith (because it isn't logical). She's almost a human Spock which is why she's such a great character. Angela is the office nympho and the physician (Cam) in charge is one of the wittiest, cutest characters in TV OR film. I don't know who the actress is who plays her, but she is wonderful. Then assorted lab assistants come in and out I guess trying to find the right one since Bones's former asst. went to the slammer for falling into a murderous cult.
They've added Dr. Sweets who does add to the cast. It's a good ensemble and we TIVO it. But one more heavy handed anti talk radio or anti conservative episode and we cancel. I look for "Bones's" ratings to sink if they keep this up. That'll leave us with only NCIS and NCIS-LA and the CSI's on TIVO.
"House" bit the dust last year when House became a bitter, out of control druggie whose medical feats were not believable in our medical household — (an internist going into the OR not scrubbed and digging into the operative field! ) Besides, on nearly every episode somebody arrests and also suffers a seizure. Doc shows are interesting, but they have to touch on reality sometimes.
I TIVO "Bones" but one more episode like this and I'm gone. I suspect a lot of people will go with me.
I am never arrogant enough to believe I am so singular that I am the only one taking offense or that my views are so unique that no one else thinks the way I do. For years the Liberales were able to get away with "everybody thinks like we do" by not allowing Conservatives, Independents, LIbertarians and Moderates a voice, but then Talk Radio, The Internet and Fox happened and now Liberales remind me of cockroaches scurrying for cover when the light is turned on.

We're to play along and say that "liberals are our problems in the invasion of illegals by ACLU lawsuits(guess who's behind that curtain),rotten wall street banks, the federal reserve, its chairman, the globalists such as Soros,Sarkozy,Geithner, the speech writer for Obama,David Axelrod, the economics wackjob Peter Orszack, none of us are to connect the dots."
Hey, Herr DGL — Dick Wolf isn't Jewish — he was a fucking ALTAR BOY AT ST- PATRICKS in New York. It's one thing to be a raving anti-semite, but a misinformed anti-semite? What's even more amazing is that someone gave you a thumb's up. "Big Hollywood" not only tolerates this, it encourages it. Maybe Debbie Schussel should do a column about how jew-hatred is alive and well on Big Hollywood.
While not being a habitual "Bones" viewer, even though I do enjoy it, I find the Bones character's obtuseness, if that's the correct word, and the fact that she does take everything too literal, quite charming, Agree with all of your cast assesments.
I hope the Booth/Bones relationship remains unconsumated for as long as possible.
Thanks (I think…)!
The "Head-Hopping" has a purpose — the series is going to run five books.
This is ridiculous. Bighollywood, you are hearing it first. http://www.memphisdailynews.com/editorial/Article...
Dick Wolf supported Fred Thompsons's candidacy for the presidency of the United states. The man is hardly a "left-leaning hollywood insider." He's a Republican for crying aloud! The outrage being spewed by Bill O'Reilly over a throw-away line in an underrated episode on an underated network is ridiculous and should make you angry that this moron is allowed to use Fox news as a Pulpit to yell at people for making him feel bad. Shame on you for not checking your facts, Bill.
“Limbaugh, Beck, O’Reilly, all of ‘em, they are like a cancer spreading ignorance and hate…"
Naw, clearly there's no "hate" in these comments from you god lovin' folks. Or from Carnival Barker Beck and his corporate huckster brethren at Faux News. And heck, Rush is a regular Thomas Jefferson. He hasn't gotten fat by feeding off the ignorance and fear of his confused, uninformed audience by offering simple-minded solutions and scapegoats.
Yeah… What could Dick Wolf & Co. have been thinking?
