By the time the election rolled around I got to a point where I could not watch Jon Stewart because he turned into another liberal hack.

A few months after Obama was elected I would occasionally tune into his show to see if at least HE was doing the proper American comedic roll of BASHING WHO EVER IS IN POWER!

I mean really, how long can someone continue to do anti-Bush jokes and rag on Fox news?

Unlike Colbert and SNL at the time, Stewart was slowly picking up on the piles of COMIC GOLD that was coming out of Washington! He still picked on Fox and the right at the time. But he was starting to turn his guns on Obama and the left.

I expect that he will continue to make fun of both sides on issues. But also understand that he had to take a slow approach to this. After all he became famous during the 8 years of Bush. So he really can't alienate all of his viewers at once.

Just my thoughts on it.

P.S. Colbert is as left as ever. I expect his show will not be on the air in a couple of years. Heck even SNL has been poking fun at Obama lately.

You might check out Red Eye on Fox News (3 AM EST… but that's what DVR's are for). Some of the best moments from that show is when the Camera Crew completely cracks up.

They may not say anything about his relative political incisiveness, but they do place him amongst the more intelligent and educated (read: erudite) celebrities.

Well, what is accurate about this entire debate? The "Hockey Stick " graph that got the ball rolling has been debunked after a smear campaign against the detractors. Eastern Antartic ice is growing faster than Western shrinkage. Artic ice is greater than being presented, after the AGW group was shown to be twicking their data. Polar bear population is up. Russian scientists have been calling a catastrophic cool down for several years based on solar cycles. "Green"-land was not a clever trick to lure in tourists, it really was green in the middle ages. So what are you left with? Globalists like Al Gore and Soros looking for an excuse loot the world and put mankind under the thumb of the UN.

Unfortunately, billions of dollars already have been pissed away and more may go down the drain if the pressure on these charlatans is not maintained. Their arrogance, greed and outright lying are an affront and danger to science and research at all levels.

He also failed to mention that due to the data [which is the basis of all other studies] being compromised, futzed with, discredited and tainted, the government is still moving ahead with their multi-trillion dollar sovereignty killing plans and still claiming that 'the science is settled'. That is the primary issue – not just a cute occasion to rip on Al Gore, and vindicated Right wingers. But at least John boy actually brought it up and didn't completely dismiss it, unlike the mainstream media. There may still be hope for John to at least become a Libertarian; I never took him for a far lefty anyway.

How many counties have been destroyed, or prevented from growing, say like 80% of Africa maybe, over these juvenile laws that prevent them from building coal burning power plants? Most of these countries cannot afford oil, and coal is much cheaper, so they can't afford to produce electricity because global environmental standards prevent them for doing such. Something also to dwell on, for think of the commerce those countries could provide the rest of the world. We don't know the half of the potential for Africa's natural resources, most places are inaccessible are lack the infrastructure to do anything about what is found.
