Charlie West went to bed one night an ordinary high school student. He woke up a hunted man. Terrorists are trying to kill him. The police want to arrest him for the stabbing death of his best friend. He doesn't know whose side he's one or who he...

Hmmmmmm….tough one.
Jane Wyman in an early photo?
Yes!
She is hot !
Ronald Reagan, that lucky dog! He knew how to pick 'em, didn't he?
Hollywood Meets Bollywood -The Obama State Dinner for Indian Prime Minister Singh
Tonight is the first official state dinner. I give you a sneak preview.
What epic gaffes can we expect from this act?
A menu chock full of traditional Pakistani dishes?
Filet of sacred cow?
Dinner table conversation: "You likee food?"
Careful Barry! Those upper-caste Indians are hyper-sensitive to protocol and expect deference to their exalted positions in the world. No Kama Sutra references.
Now that climate change has been exposed for the fraud that it is, will we still instill cap and trade, will we still need to sign the climate treaty. HELLo NO because we never needed to in the first place but now this just PROVES that we never needed to.

Button nose…She dumped Ronnie after the hearings in Washington that
sunk the Hollywood left wing nuts who made fools of themselves.
Do you really think that is going to stop the Democrats from signing a bill that will give total control of every aspect of every company and every individual in the country ?
They will never give up thnat control
What makes you think Hussein Obama is going to only serve 2 terms ?
Same thing will happen ,a crisis will suspend all elections, then Obama and the dems can not be voted out.
Obama Grants Himself First-Ever "Jive Turkey" Thanksgiving Pardon: http://optoons.blogspot.com/2009/11/obama-grants-...
"You likee food?" that reminds me of another guy i know who is also a walking, talking textbook case of narcissistic personality disorder. he's as white as wonder bread, but whenever he's around people of another race, ethnicity, or nationality, he instantly falls into this bizarre habit of badly imitating their speech inflections and mannerisms. hispanics, blacks, asians, you name it. because these other people often have less than perfect English skills, he'll even start butchering his own grammar and syntax in a creepy attempt to somehow empathize(?), or perhaps better communicate(?), with them. he's not even aware that he does it and even if i warned him not to (we used to be in business together- a whole nuther saga!) immediately before a meeting, in a minute or two i'd be cringing at his insulting, condescending impression of bad movie Japanese, Charlie Chan Chinese, or whatever. he always denied it- i wish i'd caught his freakish act on video…
I hate to be politically incorrect, but I'm okay with the 9/11 terrorists never reaching New York City for their civilian trial.
In fact, if the Execution Channel wants to show them being gutted like fish on national TV, I may watch…
Well a person can dream can't they.
I've thought of all those scenarios also TR but keep hoping that MAYBE we'll get back on the right track but to be honest I don't really have all that much hope.
Sheesh Joe, That's kind of a gruesome thought….. I think I like it.
LMBO! That's too crazy.
I second that execution!
In fact they should pay per view it and give the proceeds to family members those savages murdered…..
You are right, brother!
I think the noble Col. Flagg had it right when he said, "I have enough evidence here to have you executed for the rest of your life."
It may not stop them on climate change but they don't have much of a leg to stand on. I was just checking out some of the online discussions on this whole blowup and most of the responses by liberals seem to be ranging from vapid, smart-aleck responses to outright denial. Those of us who oppose this "global warming" myth are going to have to force the issue into the open by publicly and even offhandedly referring to it as "discredited," "defunct," etc., and just wait for the sputtered responses.
Chanukah came early this year!
Intrada just announced the first-ever release of Alan Silvestri's complete score for Back to the Future, remastered from studio vault elements, and including a second disc of alternate cues.
http://store.intrada.com/
his score for 'Predator' is equally fine as well…
at first we thought Betty Page but it is Ms Wyman.. a little cuter and not quite as sultry. Good pull…
Zelig!

If the GOP wants a solid conservative vote, their leadership needs to get over the idea that they can pander to conservatives. We have had quite enough of these 'enlightened' individuals saying what they think we want to hear, and then acting quite the opposite when elected. It is no longer sufficient for them to 'talk the talk'. They need to demonstrate clearly they can and will 'walk the walk' as well.
That is the big reason Gov. Palin has such a huge following: she 'walls the walk and talks it'. Her credibility as a conservative is beyond question, which is something that can be said for only a very few repubs these days.

Did anyone manage to catch CSI:Miami last night? It was about a life insurance company who took out policies on employees of a custodial company, making the insurance company the beneficiary, then kills these employees for the life insurance money! No, really, that's what it was about. During a flashback, a murder victim complains to the CEO of this insurance company that he can afford to give out an expensive bracelet to another employee (who the CEO just happens to be having an affair with), but he can't afford decent health care insurance.
Then an accountant (an accountant of all people) at this insurance company cops to 3 or 4 of the murders, and explains to the CSIs that the CEO said, "Why can't we benefit from these employees."
It's getting to the point where not even Emily Proctor and Eva LaRue can save it for me. Sad.
Again, the immature, inept and intellectually-depraved "resident" of the White House bows before a foreign head of state, this time, the Chinese premier. This man projects weakness and lack of spine wherever he goes. obama is the absolute worst occupant of the White House in American history, including jimmy carter.
all network TV is bad. Repeat: 'all network TV is bad'.
Thank God for cable…
Get's the girl and destroys the evil empire!
Sound like a movie in there some where sans Streisand's evil hand.
Well, that and the fact that watching liberals get apoplectic at the mere mention of her name is so gosh-darned much FUN.
Agreed, the left has way too much time, money and credibility invested in this scam to let it go down with out a fight.
As a true independent with allegiance to neither party, Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney appeal the most to me, and I could see myself voting for either of them at this point.
The rest? Not so much.
I've never seen CSI – any of them – I stopped watching network TV years ago except for occasionally the news, and of course football.
But that doesn't sound so far fetched to me. My father's cousin's father took out a life insurance policy on his mother while he was in the navy. When she passed away and he cashed it in, it caused a huge family rift because his brother believed he was entitled to half the money, which of course he wasn't. They didn't speak to each other for like 15 years.
Not sure if you're not getting my point. Normal people doing this stuff, sure, it's the stuff murder plots are made of. What I was getting at is that this eppy was just another liberal diatribe against businesses and CEOs.
Of course, that goes with out saying. Some people are familiar with insurance industry and might believe you can only take out policies for immediate family members like spouse and children.
But if you're willing to pay, and they're willing to issue, I think you can insure just about anything.
The Democrats will have no where to run in 2010, no matter what they claim it is clear they tried to ruin the U.S. Constitution by trying to pass a bill where the Government can make you "buy" something.
While I can understand and agree with your sentiment to a point, it would also give these slimeballs more attention and TV face-time. Reporters would be begging for jail-house interviews, etc.
It wouldn't bother me if , after conviction, they were put in solitary to rot for the rest of their lives. No media, no attention. Just four walls and one guard.
Loved Jane in Hitchcocks' Stagefright- she had to do a dowdy makeover and didn't like how Marlene kept her impecable image.
I doubt the irony has escaped you that the electorate of this country balked at the idea of a Mormon as President, but seems to have little concern that the current occupier they voted in has Muslim sympathies, if not himself a closet Muslim.
The Metatron (Bob Gibbs) "No he didn't bow, he was looking for his contact lens."
You assume they care about retaining Congress. I'm not so sure they do.
First off Peolsi gets rid of the blue dog democrats that keep cramping her style. Second, if they retain complete power till 2012, then Obama can't blame the republicans when he runs for reelection.
I think its entirely plausible they pass their massive tax bills, lose one or both houses for two years, then plan on riding Obama's tail coats in 2012 and retake both houses.
Analyzing politicians as idiots or morons is a dangerous thing. True there are some real dunder heads (Larry "wide stance" Craig leaps to mind), but in general it takes brains to rise to the top of the political gut pile.
When I see a politician doing doing something that makes no sense to me, I take a second look at their goals. Sun Tzu – know your enemy.
Yeah.,..a crisis like "Uninsured who REALLY need health care…NOW!" Then, the healthcare arm of SEIU can vote to do whatever they want to…ad infinitum…ad nauseum.
Never underestimate the evil of Mecha-Steisand!
I was going to vote for impaling them on the Empire State Building Attenna and left on display for all to enjoy, but the fish gutting idea of yours has much merit.
As long as I don't have to get under her.
There are many things I would willingly do for my country. Touch her ain't one of them.
The HSP (Happy Shark Party) advocates putting all the Gitmo guys into a cargo container, taking the container out to shark infested waters, hoisting it up, and opening it. Repeat as needed with assorted miscreants.
So far I'm the only member, but I'm sure there's room for others.
I was one (among many here in Michigan) who voted for Romney in the primaries, but then got saddled with McCain. I didn't vote for him though, I voted for Palin.
that's were sniper rifles come in.
Wyman looked cute as a blond in the late 30s and early 40s. She had a nice screen personality. I don't think she sang or danced. Just nicely bubbly.
Hey! "LARCENY, INC"! The entire 1942 film on Youtube! A very funny crime comedy with Edward G. Robinson, Broderick Crawford, Jackie Gleason, Ed Brophy, Anthony Quinn….and Jane Wyman! Never on video of any kind. What a treat!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktpGXH9IEzo Jane shows up at the 7:50 mark, but watch the whole film. Much funny!
If I could have voted only for Palin, I would have. Considering McCain's disdain from MY right to free speech, I find him unworthy of the office of the President of the United States.
Don't worry; O will make up for any gaffes by bowing deeply and apologizing sincerely for ALL American "mistakes."
LB – what are your favorite WC Fields movies?
Would 25 years in the electric chair work?
Mitt Romney is quite appealing, BUT he needs to be closely questioned about so-called Romney Care version of health care in place in Massachusetts, tho'.
He's the governor who signed that monstrosity?????
Oh dear Lord, who besides Palin does the right have?
Nothing against Ms. Palin, who I do support, but you guys are going to need a much deeper bench than the barracuda.
Saw the episode, and thought it was stupid. BUT, I heard on the news about a Colorado, or Nevada power company that decided NOT to have its customers pick up the tab for expensive presents and spa trips, etc. for it's employees by way of rate hikes. How nutty is that?!
It would be a very interesting statistic to know how many votes McCain accrued solely because of people voting for Palin, and how much more poorly McCain would have done with a VP with lesser magnetism.
Ok Hollywood people here
WE see the first state dinner has a lot of Hollywood BigWigs attending
And we know the "V" script was written over the last couple of years
Could the Hussein Obama Admin have gotten the script last December ?
Because SciFi and reality are one in the same now
/sarc ?
I wonder what Rush really thinks! : )
From RUSH today: "This is a small man, folks. Obama is a small and petty, spoiled little man. This is a small, cold, petulant little man."
Ummm, I thought that was Eartha Kitt…
However, Jane could sing. She did two musicals with Bing Crosby: 'Here Comes the Groom", from which we get "In the Cool, Cool, Cool of the Evening" and another one called 'All For You" or somesuch..Bing's a producer and Jane's the Broadway star who helps him reconnect with his kids, one of whom was Natalie Wood.
You're right. I forgot about that Frank Capra film. I never heard her sing in the 40s or 40s…..unless I never saw those fims.
I can't tell you b/c it has been way too long since I have seen most of them and some of the harder to find ones, I have never seen.
The only 2 I have recently seen are
IT'S A GIFT
and it's silent predecessor
IT'S THE OLD ARMY GAME.
IT'S A GIFT is marvelous.
I need a FIELDS gift box for Christmas.
Sorry I couldn't be more help at the moment.
bowin' n shakin', bowin' n shakin'
he's like a living lawn ornament.
Sounds like Michael Scott from "The Office".
I want an execution that is as unceremonious as possible. Take them out to a desert, kill them and just leave them where they drop.
You know, you are absolutely correct! THAT's what he reminds me of! Extensive bowing resulting from a weak spine.
Interesting times indeed.
I know, a little bit of mental gymnastics to be able to stomach the least offending of unpalatable choices at the time (Obama or Dem-lite McCain). We do what we must to get through.
I do finf Romney very appealing, but yes, things like this do need to be vetted and then, said candidate looked at in the whole. No one is perfect, but we do need to see everything to know what we are getting.
I can only speculate as to the reasoning behind his signing that legislation as I am not from there nor did I follow that issue. Was the backing in the legislature so sure that a veto overide would have been in place before it got sent to the governor's desk? Just curious.
I understand the sentiment, and did the same for years. But I decided several years ago no more. My vote is mine and I will not settle for the lesser of two evils. My civic duty is complete once I enter the voting booth. At that point its all me.
If I have a preference for one candidate over the other I will vote for them, as I did Bush in 2004. Iraq was far too unstable to hand over to the likes of Kerry.
If I have no preference, and no opinion, I vote against the incumbent on the theory they've already been in office, and they've probably only made things worse.
Thirdly, if I'll vote for third or fourth party candidates. NY has really arcane rules to limit the ballot choices to democrat/republican only. In order to get on the ballot a third party candidate must get 50,000 votes state wide or else they have to collect 50,000 signatures, which is just a game to get them to waste all their resources getting the signatures, so they can't pose any threat during the election.
And if I can't stand any option, like the last Presidential election, I simply leave the line empty.
That way I can still stand to look at myself in the mirror.
Stay true to who you are and you can't go wrong.
