Could this be true?
Barack Obama does not have Angelina Jolie’s seal of approval.
“She hates him,” a source close to the U.N. goodwill ambassador, 34, tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on newsstands now).
“She’s into education and rehabilitation and thinks Obama is all about welfare and handouts. She thinks Obama is really a socialist in disguise,” adds the source.
But don’t expect to see the Salt actress rally against Democrats on Fox News like her staunch Republican father, Jon Voight.
“Angie isn’t Republican, but she thinks Obama is all smoke and mirrors,” the source says.
Could this be some kind of watershed moment where one of Hollywood’s most popular and beautiful stars, an Academy Award winner, no longer fears retribution from the Hollywood Left for saying such things … out loud?
Wouldn’t be the first time Jolie went against the leftist grain. In February of 2008, when most of her Hollywood colleagues called for abandoning the Iraqi people — Cambodian Holocaust 2: The Middle East – this breath of mature, compassionate air appeared in the Washington Post.

I linked that same WaPo oped in an earlier BH post, too. AJ is one of the few top actresses in Hollywood I really adore for everything she is and does, especially the USO and UN Goodwill rep tours (who could represent America better?) and her lack of fear in speaking her mind, and regardless of who she offends. Got a little bit of her dad in her, after all. You Go, Girl!
If only we had a thousand actresses in Hollywood that were more Angelina Jolie and less Megan Fox, it would truly be the City of Dreams and not the City of Screams (and hair pulling) that Tinseltown is today. You never hear AJ whining and blaming Middle America when one of her films under-performs at the box office.

Well, it may or may not be true. I did hear she was having another child. That is one thing I do admire, she's made a strong commitment to having a big family. That's not easy to do!
First of all, since this is an unnamed source, not a direct quote, and it's appearing in US weekly, I wouldn't put much weight behind this.

Jennifer Aniston said something three or four years ago that could be interpreted as a sign of political common sense. I think it was something about Brad Pitt being so far left that she couldn't agree with where he was coming from. I can't remember exactly. Angelina Jolie proves that it's possible to be a Democratic – even a liberal Democrat – and still have common sense and integrity. One of the many criticisms of George Bush was that he refused to admit when he was wrong, a criticism that applies to most politicians and their supporters. Obviously, Ms. Jolie has the intelligence and courage to point the finger at her own side when she believes finger pointing is called for. More importantly, she puts the best interests of her country before politics and popularity, something few of her colleagues in Hollywood are willing to do. Good for her!
