Man, I used to love 'The Onion'. They were equal opportunity satirists. Since Obama, they have leaned hard left. I guess they are being sucked along with MSM into the same wormhole. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
The Onion remains one of the funniest publications in existence. They have made countless little videos mocking Obama for one thing or another.
Can we stop with this hypersensitivity, BH? Do we really have to hear about it every time an episode of L&O or an online video say something negative about a conservative? It is ok to make jokes about Glen Beck. (Even bad jokes, as we have here.) It is not the end of the world. Breath.

If it would have been the least bit funny, I would be half there. But this not only wishes Beck dead, and plays like it's a normal, common reaction, but it launches at every single painful personal attribute of Beck. It's what Aristotle called "abuse" (which later was translated as "obscenity")

I'd like to take a minute and thank Big Hollywood. If there's one thing I've learned (probably the only thing, actually) from coming to this site on a regular basis, it's that conservatives are whiny, moaning crybabies. I think we're overreacting a little. I first vsited The Onion last week out of curiosity because I noticed that Glenn Beck follows them on Twitter. I watched a few of the videos, read some headlines and some of them were really funny. They had one about Obama negotiating with wildfire which was really like Obama using diplomacy to deal with terrorists (I thought it was great). Not all of them were. This one about Glenn was really not one of the better ones, but the way I see it is the're making fun of the MSM for really concentrating on destroying Beck instead of the real stories.

As for Rush, I listen sometimes and I've been listening for years. I used to watch his TV show way back when. And he does spin. He doesn't believe in recycling so he was telling everyone that re-usable grocery bags were dangerous because they could be contaminated by meat juices etc. Never said maybe wash them if they're dirty or that people used the disposable ones all the time to take their lunch to work. He forgot to mention that the study was done by a disposable bag company. Stuff like that, spinning and twisting.

I did respond to that. Reading comprehension does wonders for those that use it. CNN is "the most trusted name in news" – judging from their ratings, that's hardly accurate, either. or how about MSNBC? "A fuller spectrum of news." Really? Considering how much they and Obama pay lip service to one another, I don't particularly think that's true, either.

Both of CNN and MSNBC's slogans are kind of subjective. Most trusted name in news to who? I haven't seen MSNBC much but from what I've seen it's as bad as FoxNews. But FoxNews say they are balanced and they aren't. They are making a straight claim and they are lying.
