I was proud when he dropped everything and jumped up instantly to go help his daughter's friend. It shouldn't be such a triumphant moment–it should be just how things are–but you can't blame this show for doing the right thing when most of Hollywood won't.

I didn't even watch Firefly, but that was a great nod!

I don't usually watch cop shows and don't necessarily care about the murder, but the character interactions and Castle with his family are truly refreshing. Good news: the show has gotten a full season order.

I saw that too. I guess as long as the checks cash, Breitbart will use anyone's ads. It's decidedly capitalist, and I approve.

I've been wondering that myself. I grew up in North Carolina, and I see all this anti-tobacco stuff = lots of people losing their jobs.

My wife said that tobacoo companies just need to rebrand themselves. Focus on the medicinal properties of tobacco–calming effect on nerves, mild euphoria (so I'm told). Possible side effects include: emphysema, lung cancer, lung disease, death…

What drug these days doesn't have a laundry list of side effects that are worse than the disease they ameliorate? Heck, Advair (asthma medication) says it "may increase risk of asthma related death." These same people are telling me to trade tobacco for cannabis?
