The Authentic Obama Voice Changer – You Too Can Talk Like a Bro
How does a prep school, Ivy League graduate get to talk like a bro? It's the Authentic Obama Voice Changer. Now you too can get the changer and sound like you have authentic street creds.
The Voice Changer can't really get it right. Obama's accent comes off as more southern than authentically black. It must be because of his years spent in south Chicago.
LOL!! South Chigago, good one! Fauxbama's accent is as bad as Hillary's.
That's why Billy didn't offer his usual money-back guarantee.
"Aww don't feel noways tired. I've come too faarrr from where I started frum."
My favorite is, "She Got Big Hat."
You lost me on that one. Where did that quote come from?
She looks a tad Priscilla Lane-ish there.
"She got big hat" is right at the beginning of the video. I also like my special Voice Changer Mediallion at the end of the video.
mmm…. Betty Grable…. Now in my opinion she had to have been the sexiest woman alive in her day.
I still can't figure out why that audience didn't walk out on that one. I certainly would have.
But then again, I wouldn't have been there in the first place.
Here's the original video. Just take a glance at the comments. They loved him.
lol you sure do come up with some funky Stuff Shuga.
A sunset proves God's creative power. As does a roaring wind or a misty fog or a churn of leaves in Autumn. Then there's a gorgeous woman like this. I actually saw her and said, "Wow." Is it Grable, k8blujay?
Random ironic lib observation of the day: anybody else notice that a lot of the same people who are trying to ban smoking everywhere–including folks' own homes–are the same ones who are rallying for the legalization of marijuana? Will that make smoking ok, then? Or will they then demonize weed along with everything else people smoke? Or will they only demonize certain types of smoking, and leave other types alone? Or have they not decided that yet? It must be confusing to be a liberal.
Good point. I'll have to take another LOOONG hit and ponder that… … … Now where were we?
I'd forgotten about that particular fairy story, lol. I can't keep track of his bull.
He always does the southern preacher thing when he thinks the audience is of a mind. Hilary used to change her accent as well depending upon whether she was in Iowa or Charleston or Andover. Sickening isn't it?
Open thread liberty quote of the day!
"Much of what government does is based on the premise that people can't do things for themselves. So government must do it for them. More often than not, the result is a ham-handed, bumbling, one-size-fits-all approach that leaves the intended beneficiaries worse off. Of course, this resulting failure is never blamed on the political approach — on the contrary, failure is taken to mean the government solution was not extravagant enough." –columnist John Stossel
Big Hollywood had an article up a while ago praising Castle for being a good series with strong values and a good example of a decent father. I just wanted to second that opinion and point to this week's episode (up on hulu if you missed it). It is very refreshing to see a strong, caring father acting responsibly on tv, instead of being some dumb buffoon. Um, plus the firefly shout-out was shiny!
I agree all around. I was kinda afraid as it was unfolding that castle would fall back to his "party" personality and let it slide – but he was properly fatherly instead!
I really like the show!
I was just thinking yesterday – "When are they going to use Betty Grable?"
In short –
Betty Grable was in films by 1930 @ the age of 15 y/o.
By the mid 30s, she was a popular, yet minor star over at Paramount.
In 1940, she goes over the 20th Century-Fox and her star really begins to ascend.
By 1942, she is a major star. By 1945, she was a super-star.
Her main strengths were her extremely appealing face and figure….her dancing and especially the way she could sing. This woman had one of the warmest, most honey-glazed voices in Hollywood history. The warmth she could add to a song put over even minor ballads. And give her a truly superb tune and she would own it. Even light pop tunes like "In Acapulco" from 1945. She aces it. Each time I listen to someone else sing a song that Grable sang – she puts them on the lower 40.
I had an ex GI from WW2 come up to me looking for one of her films. He had not seen it in 50 years and only saw it once when he was in the service in 1942…and the only thing he remembered from it was Grable standing in an outrigger canoe with her blond, wavy hair blowing in the wind as she sang "Sing Me a Song of the Islands".
She was a skilled and very competent dancer, but w/o the inspiration of a Rita Hayworth or a Cyd Charisse….but she was alwya a pleasure to watch and she kept up in fast company always.
She had a flair for light comedy and farce. Her dramatic skills were adequate.
She's a real treat to watch on the screen in the 40s. She never recorded commercially except once, under an alias with her then husband, Harry James, the bandleader and trumpeter. (FOX did not want their stars recording for some short-sighted reason).
Five of her best films from the 40s-
TIN PAN ALLEY
MOON OVER MIAMI
SPRINGTIME IN THE ROCKIES
BILLY ROSE'S DIAMOND HORSESHOE
MOTHER WORE TIGHTS
The Left is trying to get rid of all entities it does not control. Forget logic. That is all it is about.
Is there a particular reason why this site has a "CloseGitmoNow" ad on the main page featuring the former VP being labeled a torturer????
Just wonderin….
This is just too funny not to share. Don't worry, nice, "clean" fun!

I've been wondering that myself. I grew up in North Carolina, and I see all this anti-tobacco stuff = lots of people losing their jobs.
My wife said that tobacoo companies just need to rebrand themselves. Focus on the medicinal properties of tobacco–calming effect on nerves, mild euphoria (so I'm told). Possible side effects include: emphysema, lung cancer, lung disease, death…
What drug these days doesn't have a laundry list of side effects that are worse than the disease they ameliorate? Heck, Advair (asthma medication) says it "may increase risk of asthma related death." These same people are telling me to trade tobacco for cannabis?
I saw that too. I guess as long as the checks cash, Breitbart will use anyone's ads. It's decidedly capitalist, and I approve.
Nathan, you make a good point.
I was proud when he dropped everything and jumped up instantly to go help his daughter's friend. It shouldn't be such a triumphant moment–it should be just how things are–but you can't blame this show for doing the right thing when most of Hollywood won't.
I didn't even watch Firefly, but that was a great nod!
I don't usually watch cop shows and don't necessarily care about the murder, but the character interactions and Castle with his family are truly refreshing. Good news: the show has gotten a full season order.
Cats know when they're "on."
From James Taranto over at the Wall Street Journal:
"Landesman's praise for Obama as a writer reminds us of the joke that's been going around: Why didn't Barack Obama win the Nobel Prize in Literature? Because he actually did write two books!"

Anybody has any lib friends who might wanna do more than talk tough on closing Gitmo, the time has come to offer them a solution: http://www.popmodal.com/video/3837
Have veteran friends instead, let 'em know they can redefine "torture" as they see fit.
Excuse me – but who IS that woman?
Betty Grable
