I miss Ron Silver too. I never met the man but witnessed his intellect on many different venues. There was something about him that was facinating, infuriating, and a joy to witness all at the same time. The very fact that he could change his mind about National Security issues speaks volumes about his integrity.
Andrew you are doing a wonderful job. I am a visitor to this and your other sites on a daily basis, actually many times daily. Keep on tweaking the the old established medias nose. Even considering thier ideology they have gotten lazy and just regurgitate what they have seen or read elsewhere. Where is the original reporting? With newspapers fast becoming extinct who will actually do the reporting? The new media cannot fill the gap completely. No access and no relationships are a big problem. Who will do the reporting is something you, Andrew, are addressing.
Ron Silver was a man of morals and courage. May God bless his loved ones and may they be comforted by the enduring legacy he left behind.

I liked Ron Silver too, especially after I found out what his views are. I still wish Hollywood would just shut up and act/sing/etc., but if we have to know what their views are I'll support the ones I agree with and won't support the ones that I disagree with.
I think that Andrew Breitbart is creating a subtly profound impact in American politics and culture.
Rest in Peace, Friend. You are sorely missed.

Whenever I think of Ron Silver I want to cry. He was such a great man, a terrific actor and was "done too soon". Boy, did we ever need men like him.
If we had more Ron Silvers in Show-Biz who stepped up and out. We'd have a much healthier popular culture in this Country. Sleep sweet Brother you earned it.
So far they have killed more Americans than the 9/11 attack (which they were behind as well – remember the 5 dancing Israelis filming the WTC collapse that were arrested by the FBI) with their wars for Israel in the Middle East.

Well, it's Saturday morning, and the trolls have powdered their noses if you know what I mean, and are out trolling. Wastes of protoplasm, if you ask me.
The problem Yeager is that "We" could "wipe Israel off the face of the planet" and the Islamic fascists then could dedicate ALL of their time to bringing down the USA. It's not about Israel. It's not about us. IT'S ALL ABOUT THEM. What is it about Islamic men? Why do they feel so inferior that they must oppress in such a sinister manner?
Personally I would have given the green light to the Israeli military to wipe the Runway for The Twelfth Imam off the face of the planet. And then I would have given the pilots a welcome home party that would make Gadaffi envious.
Very glad to see Ron Silver get some love. He caught on to the BS long before this POTUS took office. He caught on to the BS long before Harvey Weinstein flaunted his "moral compass" around like the newest African adoption. He caught on to the BS long before Streisand began to link hurricane activity to the "Global Warming" fraud.
What makes Mr. Silver a HERO in my book is that being outspoken in the Cesspool Hollywood usually means you are choking off your earning power. If he were here without question the world would be a better place. And we'd have one more field general LAYING IT ALL ON THE LINE.
Good to see a fitting tribute to Ron Silver, who unfortunately walked straight into Hollywood liberals' lion's den when he defied the party line regarding national security. All those smiling, botoxed, self-absorbed millionaires can turn into one angry mob when one of their own defects on any issue.
It's sad to see that Ron had to endure the shunning of friends, but it's not one bit surprising. Dems have always reacted like children.. who is it that said Republicans want you to 'Die Quickly?' He seemed too smart to have bought the dems platform, who knows what he would think of our comrade-in-chief now?

Wouldn't that be the justification for Russia to back Cuba? It is nonsense – our backing of an enemy in their backyard makes us an enemy – one that we can ill afford and we get nothing for supporting Israel. If we didn't support Israel, we would have had MORE influence in the Middle East instead of pushing them into the arms of China and Russia. We lost allies due to our backing of the terrorist state of Israel.
