Is that a pre-Hayes Code photo?
No, it's Rita Hayworth!, the extraordinarily talented and awesomely beautiful star of Gilda:

"Put the Blame on Mame"

Wow, she looks great!! Maybe it's the dress(wink wink).
I was listening to Rush yesterday and he played a audio clip of Obamasky speaking at a fund raiser with wealthy, dopey, pretend socialist NYC liberals. Did anybody hear the way Obamasky was talking? The fake southern accent? What a charade. Is that how these NYC libs expect semi-black men to speak?
"Billy Boy" Clinton used to change his hair color depending on what audience he was speaking to. If he was speaking to the AARP crowd, his hair was real gray. If he was speaking to a 20's or 30's audience, his hair was dark.
Good morning beautiful people. I made a video to chronicle a Day in the Life of President Obama, followed by my Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous Obamas. Saturday Night Live call me.
Nice way to start the day! Absolute beauty.
at the library i once picked up a copy of The Strawberry Blonde because it starred Rita Hayworth & James Cagney. and spent a very entertaining couple of hours watching them both get upstaged by a delightful young Olivia DeHavilland…
Rita Hayworth as a servant in Charlie Chan in Egypt, lol.
Interesting information here
http://www.breitbart.tv/the-b-cast-b-side-what-cn...
about CNN not reporting material facts about their sources, re Carol "Rush-stalker" Costello's hit pieces on talk radio.
Lying is not about the words you use, it's about the impression one seeks to leave in the mind of the other. CNN lies.
Wow Rita Hayworth!!!!! Always a "15" on the ten-point "Hubba-Hubba" scale.
Nov. 16th. The Oprah WInfrey Show. Sarah Palin. Set them dvr's NOW!!
I heard the clip before anyone said the audience was a compost heap of uber-pampered libs. The audience sounds like a shouty ACORN-type union hall mob. It's like both and audience were performing expected roles.
WoW Great Breasts.
When asked to be a guest I wish Palin had told Ophrah to shove up her pie hole.
Whoa…
Yeah, whoa…
Va va va VOOM!!! Holy crap, that's a great photo.
Beauty is timeless. R. Greene, Mrs. P (as I now refer to Sarah) should absolutely go on Oprah. Oprah I think will be surprised by her guest, as will the audience, and by the end of the show will be grudgingly (she is an Obamabot, after all) giving Mrs. P the respect she deserves. I see nothing but an upside for Mrs P.
That faux black accent drives me crazy. I don't think he wants to sound southern, but that's how it comes off. If I had more technical skills, I'd do a You Tube of all Obama's changing accents. He also changes his hair color with the occasion.
Absolutely GORGEOUS woman and I don't say that about too many redheads.
Maureen O'Hara was another gorgeous redhead.
Oh yea obama is still out uniting, OR was this an "on purpose" gaff? hmmmm
http://www.breitbart.tv/do-what-theyre-told-obama...
He's such a pathetic excuse for a person. Although it helps explain why he's so intent on silencing the voices of opposition.
As much as I support Sarah Palin, and would be proud to vote for her, I just can't take The Oprah.
If anyone wants to post a review of it, I'd be happy to read that.
How do you know that's not her plan?
Rita Hayworth. She puts the WOO in woman.
Very hot pic. Now I see why the boys fighting WWII ("the Big One" h/t Archie Bunker) won.
This is what they were fighting for!
I can't believe they're going to send Rita Hayworth to Gitmo !! Is Cheney still Vice President ?
Open thread liberty quote of the day!
"I have always considered marriage as the most interesting event of one's life, the foundation of happiness or misery." –George Washington, letter to Burwell Bassett, 1785
Can anyone recall if Bush called out anyone for attacking him? Did he whine about CNN or MSNBC? Did he name Keith Olbermann or any of the myriad of losers that bashed him on a regular basis? I can't recall Bush ever doing that.
Obama on the other hand comes off like a whiny little puss. Why is he so worried about Fox? Why isn't he worried about an unemployment rate that's hovering around 10%? Why is he doing Leno and Letterman instead of dealing with a nuclear Iran?
This president is in waaaaaay over his head and he's still out on the campaign trail instead of doing his job. His complete lack of leadership experience is showing more and more each day.
That y'all is enough to make you throw up in your mouth . . .but wait, maybe we are being too harsh on him. After all, didn't he grow up in Hawaii and isn't that what they sound like out there?
I thoght y'all was simply a southernism, but I'm hearing it increasingly more often here in the midwest. Y'all is ubiquitous in ebonics, however.
lol Someone called obama this in the comment section at that link that I posted.
"Fresh Prince of Bill Ayers"
I prefer that(y'all) to what I used to hear but hear less and less in Birmingham, Al. and the state: "you 'ins". Example: You'ins comin' for Sunday dinner?
By the way, I've heard Euros(Irish, Scots, English)say y'all.
Okay, I just saw this and can't stop laughing.

Dede Scozzafava FAIL!
Good one!
With Obama, we can finally see what all those loser, hippy, revolutionaries from the 60's were doing for the last 40 years. Realizing they and their agendas were too well known to get elected outside of a few liberal enclaves, they've been grooming front men.
Tex Avery's eye-popping, heart-out-of-the-chest-beating, jaw dropping, tongue rolling, wolf call reaction applies here … woof woof.
Last night I tuned into the last minutes of Hannity, I had to laugh when Mrs. Imus was saying the reason Comrade Obama and his cronies were going after Fox News is because Fox wasn't kissing the administration's @$$ like the other media were. Those were my thoughts exactly when this whole thing started; it was funny to finally hear someone else say it too. BTW, she actually used that 3-letter term.
I never cared for Dierdre Imus before (thought she was a little too pretentious with her "greenery") but I think there is hope for her yet. Nothing like getting hit in the face with a Racist Cream Pie to wake somebody up.
Name one film actress today (I would say movie star, but those are extinct) that even comes close to Miss Hayworth in beauty and class. Go ahead…well, go ahead…see, you can't!!
Aya, Margarita! Que linda eres!
O was on "Dragnet" ?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMXCBmvKth8
Still better than what I heard once or twice in some parts of the Ozarks growing up…"Your'ins." As in: "Hey, is that pen mine or your'ins?"
and Orson Welles was smart enough to grab her too…
Whenever you think of the 'Citizen Kane' genius remember that as well.
Our country is being hijacked if front of Our Very Eyes. We are being lied to and systematically looted. They don't care about 2010 elections because the 'Crisis' is coming. And it'll be a doozy…
How is your day?
That's a good one, T-Rav!!
I don't follow either Imus, but it was just funny in a refresh sorta way to hear it said.
When she said her dog was a vegetarian too (animal cruelty, I think), it made me think of the Goode Family on ABC.
I like her husband's radio program a great deal but I've never really warmed up to Dierdre. I will say that she is not a shrinking violet but I couldn't spend long periods of time around her and all of her 'green' stuff.
Good for her…
I think Scarlett Johansson has that 1940s, black-and-white glamour look. Probably not on the scale of Hayworth or Veronica Lake, but glamour nonetheless.
Redheads rock, dude!
Hummm that could be sweet….
but I doubt it.
Oh. You said Today. Otherwise read Robert Avrech's accounts of stars from the past. I liked Ester Ralston.
Rita Hayworth . . . Oh yeah!
Or the South Philly "Yous Guys"
Gorgeous, just gorgeous!
I've always said that if I could look like anyone, past or present, I'd want to look like Rita. After Ginger Rogers, she was my second favorite dance partner of Fred Astaire's (I've heard that she was Fred's favorite dance partner) I loved both of their films together and Gilda is in my top 10 of all time favorite films (Rita & Glenn Ford had AMAZING chemistry!!). Her life, unfortunately, was very sad.
Where I come from they just yell "Hey stupid, are you gonna eat or what?"
HOW MUCH IS THAT DOGGIE IN THE WINE SAUCE?
http://naturalfake.wordpress.com/2009/10/22/how-m...
IT'S YUMMY!
Do you remember where the term, "N-word" started? As I recall it OJ nearly cut the head off his wife, a white woman, (common sense, not legal interpretation) and Johnny Cochran during the trial coined it. I could be wrong on this, but I had never heard ithe phrase N-word before.
Does anyone else get the absurdity? While helping a black man literally get away with murder, another black man instructs whites on how to censor their own speech, as if the black lawyer was some sort of moral center.
And then, the "N-word" born out of the slaughter of a white woman becomes the standard.
Seriously sick.
What can I say, New York politics is…..different.
Gee…I thought that Clinton had 'mood hair' that automatically adjusted to the audience he was entertaining.
Now, that's a STAR! Rita rates a 'TILT' on the GORGEOUS-O-METER. No one else like her, and the dress/lingerie is exquisite.
Still…there is something missing. However, I am not a man, so I'm not looking at it from a man's perspective. I can tell you this: there are no Brad Pitts, George Clooneys, or Leo DiCaprios that even are in the same ballpark with Clark Gable, Cary Grant, and Bill Holden.
I love Douglas Fairbanks, John Gilbert, Clara Bow, Corinne Griffith…
this post at americanthinker.com is such an indictment of the current 'administration' that parites while the troops die.
http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/10/spc_flores...
if George Bush had done this, we would still be hearing about it.
I love regional dialects. Half the fun of going somewhere in the these great United States of America is hearing other people talk and their phraseology(word?).
You know as soon as I open my mouth and say something in a restaurant somewhere like Philly, Boston, LA etc. they are going back to the kitchen and laughing at my dialect not knowing we are doing the same at our table regarding how they speak!!
I love America.
Where I'm from, "You'uns" (with a U) is usually used as a diminutive "y'all". "Y'all" is generic, but "you'uns" is the second-person form and/or a contraction of "you young'uns".
Usage: When I was a young boy, I'd visit my Grandma's a lot. I had a lot of cousins to play with, and all of us young'uns would go out in the yard and throw pecans at each other. Inevitably, a grown-up would appear for the express purpose of being a buzzkill. "You'uns better quit that right now before someone gets hurt."
My favorite is "Waz wrong wit'chall?"
Hope y'all don need atranslating.
Hi again. Nothing new to add. I just keep finding myself coming back to gaze at this photo! Man, what a fox she was.
I watched the last twenty five minutes of the Keith Olbermann screed last night. There were four commercial
breaks into which were packed seventeen commercials. He has really thrown himself into Obama's war against Fox. Keith was more bilious than I ever remember him being..
LOL!! Like a mood ring, I like that, good one!
Projection and vindictiveness, are on the top of the hit parade, in the lieberal playbook.
I don't remember hearing former president Bush calling out any newsreader, comedian, or organization. If anything I don't think he defended himself enough, and was too silent in the face of the relentless attacks he endured during his term in office.
That may be due to the fact that he knew he would never be given a fair shake, so he chose to not acknowledge it; plus he was too busy working at the job he was elected to do, than to whine about the media coverage.
I cannot explain these photos………… : )

Nice
http://www.divasthesite.com/images/Rita_Hayworth/...
You got it right…she was hispanic and dyed her hair to make it hollywood.
Oh Lupe what a doll you were. She died sadly from Alzheimer's. Her daughter stayed by her side and nursed her to the end. I think it was her child with the Aga Khan. Yes, Rita was born in Mexico. She started as a dancer.
Do yourselves a favor and get a good copy of one of those old movie star photo books. Hedy Lamar, Rita, Merle Oberon, Jean Harlow, Olivia Dehaviland ( still living), Greer Garson, Maureen O'Hara ( still with us) and a few dozen others. I loved Ava Gardner as a kid, Claudette Colbert ( the sexiest Cleopatra ever!). Kim Novak had a high vavoom factor.
Today they offer us mostly sleezy kids with tatoos and lots more attitude than insight. Don't even get started on the male actors!
Man, I was totally hung up on Ingrid, but…….wow.
Don't know if anyone else mentioned this, but October 17 would have been the 87th birthday of the most beautiful woman who ever lived, pictured above.
