In fact, Mr. Gore didn’t answer Mr. McAleer’s question and was wrong on the facts. The British court found that An Inconvenient Truth “is a political film” riddled with scientific errors. The judge also held that requiring the film to be shown in schools would be a violation of law, unless accompanied by “guidance” pointing out its errors. The judge concluded that the claimant who objected to the film “substantially won this case by virtue of my finding that, but for the new guidance note, the film would have been distributed in breach of sections 406 and 407 of the 1996 Education Act.”
As for polar bears, Mr. McAleer was correct: Surveys show their numbers are increasing.
Mr. McAleer, whose film premiers this weekend, says he’s more disappointed in the environmental journalists who give Mr. Gore cover than in the former vice president. Mr. Gore is simply doing what any propagandist with a weak case would do — avoiding serious debate or exchange. To quote the late William F. Buckley, “There is a reason that baloney rejects the grinder.”

I heard the audio yesterday of McAleer asking the question and Algore's response was priceless. Instead of addressing the substance of the question Algore does what all liberal regressive do, he tries to pull on the heart strings of the gullible dolts. Algore blathers, "don't you care about the polar bears??" "so you don't like white fluffy animals??" "you probably like to frequent Japanese slaughter houses where they massacre sea kittens and serve them on rice." "Where is your humanity??"
I just love the last assertion of the corporate lawyer and the look on Dobbs face – governments CREATE the market. Really. Just think about that, and then think about the times when governments did create markets. Bread lines and work camps come to mind.
AND, as a small business owner myself, I want to stress the point that McAleer was making about cap and trade benefiting only the BIG businesses. It is true. Who do you think can more easily absorb the costs of upgrading to newer "carbon friendly" equipment and procedures? Who more easily absorbs regulatory fees and taxes? The big multi-billion dollar conglomerate, or the mom and pop store, barely making enough to cover rent in this economy?

If environmentalists, especially the wealthy ones like Gore were to put all their resources into making alternative forms of energy economically viable, perhaps the debate might actually be over…instead they whine to governments to shove everything down people's throats rather than make their solutions marketable.
It is amazing that these lies about how this have been the warmest years on record keep circulating. Al Gore makes millions not only with his film but more importantly with selling worthless carbon credits. I have said it before but follow the money folks. These guys are not doing it strickly for the money but for power and control. It is impossible to prove this but it is possible to prove that they are also doing this for wealth. If anyone knows that any of these climate change proponents know that they are selling a bill of goods it crosses into perpatratind a FRAUD. That is a Class A Felony and should be prosocuted. I won't hold my breath. This is the biggest fraud that ever was. It makes Bernie Maddof look incompetent and makes the Mafia envious that they did not think of this in the first place.

The second Dobbs interview is a perfect example of what is wrong with the whole "man-made global warming" argument.Two sides(I'm not to clear on that point.Maybe these two men are on the same side.), one side asking questions and desiring answers,the other side giving fasehoods and outright lies.I hope more and more people will come to the realization that this idea of "man-made global warming" is a religion to these deluded volk.

Satellite temperature records from UAH & RSS show a mild warming trend from 1979. It also shows a mild cooling trend from 2002.
Bottom line facts: global warming is good for human life. Increases in C02 is beneficial for plants and crops. Which in turn, is beneficial for animals and humans. Sea level rise will be so minuscule (compared to claims of 20 feet) it not be noticed nor effect human civilizations within 1,000s of years or beyond. Hurricane intensity is negatively correlated with increases in global temperatures. Every person alive deep down would rather enjoy 1C of warming over his/her lifetime than a 1C cooling.
Bottom line question: even if we stop emitting CO2 from burning coal, for electricity, for gas in our cars, to power our computers for internet….will it even mitigate warming? That is the biggest question concerning political decisions over economies.
